I went to place to get tint placed on my car while I was there I decided to get a radio installed. I dropped my car off at 930am and around 4 they called me to say my dashboard was cracked and it would maybe damage in the process I told then no dont do it.. but I later found out they already charged the company the full price for both so they would later install the radio but my car was up there for 8 hours just to have tint installed? If you have time to waste then go to this place if not.. find another place with better and more professional care and will honor the time you are away from your car.

My 1st experience was okay bc everything that was done was correct. I needed brakes the 1st and they sent to another business that did a great job. This my 2nd visit. I needed tires and a brake job is what I said. I did not know where the brakes were squealing front or back. They said it was the front and i had to get a caliper replaced. I left after being there all day basically. I heard noise coming from the breaks. Informed to come back bc they have a 60 day warranty on the breaks. I was informed that my back breaks are getting down to being replaced for $249. it could be done. Did you not see that when I asked for a break job in the beginning. Dont that mean check all 4 tires and not just the front. I didnt say this was electrical issues I pressed brakes

Went in to change my speakers and amp, but didn’t know what exactly I wanted. Luckily one of the sales men where able to guide me and let me know what was available to be put into my car. They have cool stuff that caught my eye. The pricing is reasonable and the work was clean and professional. After everything was installed they guided me on how to break in my speakers so I wouldn’t risk blowing them up.

This place gets a bad reputation. But I fully understand how warranties work. Im not going to expect anything from these guys that I wouldnt expect from any major store. The manager is well knowledgeable and explains things correctly. I have gotten tint on over 4 cars and I always get my oil changes here.

I had a great experience here. Adam and the mechanical team guided my decision to get a stereo upgrade in my car. I needed help because I dont know much about the types of car stereo systems. They gave me a great price and they finished within two hours. Adam has a relationship with all of the mechanics so he was checking on the status of my car frequently. Ill definitely be back!

I was recommended to bring my car here. I needed to redo my tint and I also needed some maintenance services (oil change, tire rotation, air filter) once I get here I was greeted and right away they were ready to start working on it. So I was curious on the wait time since I read horrible things about the wait time. But I figured at least half a day. So Im in no hurry. A couple hours later my car was done and is looking better than ever. This place is great. Things take time people. So give these guys a chance.

I visited this place but I must say that the staff was rude uninformative and did not have the item I needed.I had called earlier that day and confirmed availability of a Pioneer Navigation unit it was supposed to be saved for me until I got there, not only that it wasnt there the sales man tried selling me an inferior brand at the same price, All I saw there was empty boxes and a few knock off brands, poor customer service shady practices stay away, If your looking for cheap tires and dont care about quality go there but as far as car audio is concerned I think flea markets offer better products and services, some items even looked reconditioned or repaired, upon inquiring i was told they are new again another indication of Shady business.

These people have no clue what they are doing! We tried this stereo shop because their other store did a decent job tinting our windows. So we asked them if they could install a GPS locating in a wrecker it is all of 4 wires! 1st thing the installer does is call tech support to find out what a PTO is. We should have left right then. These devices take a competent person maximum 30 minutes to install. Its been 4 days now and the unit still doesnt work and they say they dont give refunds on labor. Run dont walk this place is a RIP OFF!!!

Just bought a set of brand new 275/55/R20s for my silverado. Price was way better than waht discount tire quoted me at and the job only took about an hour. Id recommend this place to anyone that wants a professional job done quickly and at a fair price.

Besides the fact that my front right speaker was blown from thr minute I drove off and they denied that terrible sound it made so they didnt have to replace it, and besides the fact that the deck did not have android auto like i requested, and besides the fact that they spent 4 hours trying to level my truck, and then realiezed they needed to remove the old bad rubber that was installed a long time ago, so not even getting anything done, at least the amps were installed properly.... save your money go somewhere good

I went on 2-2-2013 and purchased 4 tires and a complete system for my Dodge Pickup.I was very impressed with their service but what made me really glad I chose TCS, was the install tech for my system. He did an Amazing job. I could not be any happier. The only negative issue I can bring up is that the airbag light is on and they are attending to it and the reception on my stereo is not the best but that has been corrected, A plus job..

Well you can guess why this company has such a low rating smh. Took my money almost caught my truck on fire TWICE messed up my wiring to my head lights and was being charged for things I didn’t even have they were on back order. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Wanted cheap radio showed me a 2k system

The sale guy was very cool and helpful but the workmanship was garbage I got some hid headlights put in and the technician didnt even seal the hole all the way up and i ended up getting moisture in my headlight the driver side and they sold me a faulty bulb kept going out...I would never go back there again in life....I wasted time and $250.00 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

This place has no brains. I called and the guy at the front confirms they perform wheel and tire balancing on a large truck tire 19.5 . I drove out there and they do not carry the equipment to do so, they do not even carry the necessary sockets to pull out the tire. Thanks for wasting my time . Zero stars for communication...

This place is real shady! They dont own up to the mistakes they make. I had them install the amp i bought from them and they had to take out the factory stereo in my car. After the installation my lights on my stereo didnt come on. They wanted to charge me more to see what it was. They told me that it was my factory stereo, but it was working fine before they messed with it.On top of that the guy that installed my amp also messed up my shifter and i had all kind of lights come on my dash. I had to take it back to the dealer to get everything fixed. I dont trust to bring my car back here anymore!

This place is horrible. I called for a walk in for an installment for the car stereo I bought and they told me to come in. The they said that it would be $89. Last time I checked installment was $30-$50. I told the guy that the place I bought the device said it was 30-50 and he said well go back to where you got the device and he walked away. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. So rude. They charge so much for something that needs a little doing. Plus the guy had a gun in the back of his pants in public. This place is sketchy.

You have got to be kidding me. These people sold my friend Juan four tires and rims for his truck. These frauds have admitted that the rims are defective and yet they will not refund their money. Why? They have done nothing but lie for the last week. They even told Juan that they would give him a refund. Yet another lie that fell apart after Juan drove two hours to get the refund. Suddenly the owner was unavailable. Please heed my warning and avoid these thieves like the plague they are. The civil lawsuit is being filed tomorrow. Good luck to Bill or Mo or whoever the owner actually is.

Had an alarm installed there and an employee broke my car charger. Decent pricing but the management and workers could care less. Def going somewhere else next time i need anything done.

Worse customer service ever!!!!! Took my truck in for a system install (stock radio just adding subs and amp), and their guy cut the line to the RCDLR and damaged the receiver as well. Noticed key Fob wasn’t working and. Tire pressure sensor was off. Installer removed all wires and still did not work. I took it to a locksmith to reprogram key fob as owner and manager requested and the locksmith also agreed that the receiver was working then tried three more new ones with no success. Truck was not reading key fob. Tool it to dealership and after 8 hrs of searching they found the problem. Line had been cut to RCDLR and it was damaged. $600 later I take it to audio company with receipt telling him what the problem was. His response “why didn’t the tech call me?” Lol he then declined to reimburse me for their mistake after I did everything they asked then called the police on me for leaving the store. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn’t begin to describe them. I gave them Two days to help me get this resolved and on the third I paid an additional $600 to correct their mistake. Ive brought four vehicles for tint and sounds over the years and this is my very last one. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Friend or foe.

Almost everything they hooked up in my car has been wired dangerously wrong as a result had to get reinstalled elsewhere. They had about 4000 real watts running through an 8 guage wire ect...However they do have good prices on products. Dont get anything installed here.

I dont even know where to start...I must be honest and say they installed my radio pretty okay, even tho they cut my dash without my consent. ANYWHO, while installing my tent they broke my driver window, were not going to tell me, I just coincidentally showed up while the glass was shattered. To this day, my window doesnt go up and down properly, and ultimately Ill end up having to pay a window shop for their neglegence. I still ended up paying for my tent to be done (which most places wouldnt have made u pay) . They initially promised me a 2 hour wait, it ended up being 6 hrs. GUYS PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! you can go to the Mercado flea market on hwy 6 and get phenomenal service for half the price. On another note, Texas car stereo will jack those prices on u like youve never seen. They acted as if I dont know how much stereos, amplifiers and tent usually costs. This place is horrible, please do not waste your money

I bought a new used car with a fancy voice activated nav system and rear sensors but no camera. Texas Car Stereo ordered the correct module and installed it all for us and now I have a rear view camera viewable in my nav system, plus they unlocked the nav system so a passenger can program GPS while car is driving. Default was to lock it out at 3 mph, so we would have had to leave the highway altogether to program but no longer!

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? This outfit is a complete joke. I took my wifes truck to the location in the 7700 block of Westheimer to get her overhead DVD and subwoofer replaced - one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The DVD player wasnt properly installed, the speaker blew out, and the interior lights stopped working. After 2 trips to that location, and 2 more to the 12971 Westheimer location, they have done even more damage. In addition to the interior lights, vanity lights, sun/moonroof, and drivers side speakers STILL not working, the alarm stopped working, too. To top it off, before I could take it back one last time, the whole d@mn DVD player just fell from the mounting plate. Thank God my kid wasnt in her car seat at the time or it would have fallen down on top of her. Bill, the store Mgr, refused to extend a refund because it was past 7 days from purchase, so I left all his second-rate crap on the counter and filed a dispute with my credit card company. They shouldnt be allowed to install a car air freshener - let alone work on sensitive electronics.

Extremely poor service, change only one car tire took 2 hours and they replace it with the wrong reference tire. I have to check myself the tire reference and let them know to change it again.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!! DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!!!I had a system PROFESSIONALLY installed for $600 was BILLED/CHARGED $500 for a box that I DIDNT even WANT or ask for, further more I DONT EVEN OWN IT! The technicians broke several parts in the truck and interior of my vehicle. The bass amplifier had been installed/connected IMPROPERLY and evidently had a short, therefore, DESTOYING the amp. TEXAS CAR STEREO had toreplace the amp under warranty and re-iterated there was NO problems with the wiring. WELL... the amp WAS DESTROYED AGAIN and IN FEAR of TEXAS CAR STEREO damaging my car more, I called Rockford Fosgate myself and delt directly with them. I also told RF that Texas Car Stereo shout NOT BE A DEALER due to their inadiquate staff/technicians. The tinit job SUCKED and the Customer Service was even worse!!! But MOST of all SAM and BILL both DENY everything and act like its the customers fault.I should have NEVER gone to this GOD FORSAKEN PLACE!!!YESTERDAY MY CAR HAD TO BE TOWED BECAUSE OF THE SYSTEM TEXAS CAR STEREO INSTALLED!!!THE SHORT IN THE SYSYTEM FINALLY SCREWED UP MY BRAND NEW CAR WHICH HAS NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS

The location was 40 miles away from me therefore I called in advance to explain that I purchased a groupon for window tinting and was told by the manager I could bring my car in at any time. I came at 2pm (the location closes at 7pm) and was turned away. They told me I was required to have an appt. I called once again on 08/13/12 and was given an appt for 3pm. I brought my car in and was told it would be ready in 1.5 hours. In addition I purchased headrest monitors that would be installed in 45 minutes. I continued to wait and by 530 pm the car was not ready. I made arrangements for my children to be picked up from daycare and continued to wait. By 7pm (4 hours later) my vehicle was still not ready. I was taken to the back where they showed me the tint was literally still being placed. I was charged for my other purchases and by 715 my car was brought out to the front as they were showing me out the door. I was left standing outside without my car keys and waited for someone to come out and give them to me. My car was a complete mess with the childrens car seats piled in the front passenger seat. There were streaks all over the windows and car. I would have expected them to leave the car presentable. I received no instructions on the care of the car and another gentleman mentioned as he drove off that I should not put the windows down for 3 days. The monitors were not working and the remote was left inside. All the employees were outside while I stood waiting for someone to answer my questions and by then the owner had left who was apparently the only was with access to the store and refused to come back (after having one of the employees contact him). I had to make a third trip today for the remote and to have the monitors properly placed only to have the owner tell me that my money was nothing compared to the thousands of dollars others spend in his shop and that he would gladly charge me to undo all the work he did to my car. Very very poor experience at this highly unprofessional facility with extremely poor customer service!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this automotive facility to anyone!!!

I had a flat tire. I called here and they offered to help me. They did charge extra to come to my job to remove the tire. But I was in need of help and I dont know how to remove a tire. So they came took the tire off and had it fixed all with in an hour.

I bought a Groupon to get my windows tinted and when I went to their location on I-10, the guy started to do a bait-and-switch on me and when I didnt want it tried to sell me a lesser quality product. Their Groupon does not say ANYTHING about the tint level. Apparently, the Groupon is ONLY for their lightest tint and the value stated on the Groupon is not the value you get. The tint that you get is sold for LESS than the Groupon value if you were to just walk in off the street and buy it. VERY SHADY!!!I reported to Groupon but apparently they didnt do anything because the SAME Groupon is available once again. I have no idea about their quality as I didnt accept their services, it may be very good, but you will have to pay full price for it and that would be ok if they would just say that from the beginning instead of being shady and trying to upsell immediately.
