No-show for a diagnostic appointment that theyd even emailed me a calendar invite for the day before. Then I called to see what was going on and left a message but they never called back. At this writing, its been some 30 hours since the no-show.Update about a week later:Due to the no-show, had another contractor do the work. However, Ace Comfort reached out to apologize and ended up compensating me for the frustration and the time spent away from my own work. Wish more companies would acknowledge the value of a customers time like that.

We set up an appointment for the following day. They were professional, wore masks (Covid19 days) and had the system charged and operational within an hour. Great service.

Called ace comfort off google listing. Was kinda Worried about four star review on yelp. Tech came out on time. Went straight to Issue which was thermostat not communicating with the upstairs furnace heating system. Technician did not try to upsell me a new system just charged me new thermostat to $285 with one year warranty guaranteed. Very Please with honesty and cleanest of company. Put on booties wind came in and very clean cut well spoken very knowledgeable. The tech was named Abram.

My wife panicked when our heating system broke down. It just won’t work no matter how much I tried to fix it, and I called ACE Comfort. Their technician arrived immediately and did a check up on it. He was able to fix it and replaced some parts. Great service at a very reasonable price

We moved to Texas from Michigan 2 years ago and since then we have been struggling to deal with this heat and find an HVAC company that suited our needs and our budget! Id been shopping around with different companies for a while but was unsatisfied because whenever they fixed our central AC system, it ALWAYS would break down. Finally, we found Ace Comfort, and i am SO satisfied with their service. Our central AC broke down again and I needed someone to fix it promptly, as I run a licensed day care from home. I could not find anyone to come within my urgent time frame and all the quotes I was getting were ridiculous. I came across Ace Comfort from the recommendation of a friend. They were amazing. They understood my urgency and their pricing was very affordable. They came immediately, our AC was fixed. Abram was very kind and professional. We just got our central AC installed two weeks ago and we absolutely loved the superb customer service, expertise and speed with which Ace Comfort team worked. Their price was better than what local competitors offered. We had a professional come by do the exact measurements of heat/cool air loss, so that we knew we were getting the right size unit. Their installation crew were possibly the most polite men we have ever met. They even whispered while our baby was sleeping! Super polite, super fast, and great customer service. Ace Comfort was sent by our home warranty company to clean the drain lines because the secondary drains were leaking outside. Both of our AC Units were working fine when they arrived to complete this work. The technician did not clean out drain line, claiming that it wasnt covered by the warranty and would cost $300 to clear. They also said it would be a waste of money because the unit was low on freon and would be going out in the next day or two and needed to be replaced. They contacted the warranty company to submit the paperwork to replace the unit, told us the warranty would cover a certain amount and we would be responsible for the remaining balance. They provided a quote to replace the UPSTAIRS unit and assured us it was the best price in Houston. They also indicated the urgency of getting on the schedule because they were booking up fast and we should get it done before the unit went out. The following day, the DOWNSTAIRS unit wasnt cooling (separate unit than ACE Comfort quoted). We called the warranty company to ask about both the drain cleaning coverage (confirmed that IT IS COVERED by our policy) and to get someone out to look at the downstairs unit issue. Because both units were working fine before ACE Comfort arrived to clear the drain and it coincidentally stopped cooling the following day exactly as they predicted, we asked the warranty company to send a different contractor to clear the drains and check the downstairs unit. The second contractor came out and together we check the units outside and found that freon had leaked or been drained from the downstairs unit. The downstairs unit holds 10 pounds of freon and it was down to only 1 pound remaining (this is a unit that was cooling fine the previous day). He replaced the freon valve which appeared to be damaged and recharged the unit with 9 pounds of freon. He also confirmed that a unit running very low on freon can do significant damage to an AC unit. The unit has been working fine ever since the second contractor came out. I waited over a month to post this review to see if either of the units needed to be replaced during that time, in which case I would not have posted anything because it might have been an accurate diagnosis from Ace Comfort. I cant prove that Ace Comforts technician drained the freon from our AC unit to try to sell us a new one, so Ill let you read the sequence of events and decide for yourselves. I know we will never use them again, and the warranty company may be skeptical after receiving conflicting reports from two separate contractors that worked on our systems within a day of each other.

I was promised a zoning system, they even called the day before to confirm, then the day of installation called and said that after all of the setup, they wouldnt be able to complete the job. Abraham is a very shady business man. I will definitely be taking my money and business elsewhere. And I will strongly recommend against their service.

A friend recommened me to ace comfort after having my ac out for two weeks and having received high priced estimates from several other repair men. After getting an ace comfort repair man to my house and getting a decent price my ac was fixed on the spot and works perfectly.

We were referred to this company through our home warranty and Abram, a very shady repairman, came out for the service. He did a full inspection and recommended we get a brand new upstairs unit in February 2017. Four months later (June 2017) the ac stops working again. We call Abram and he says that now we need a new outside unit. Certainly he knew this four months ago bc they performed a full inspection but most likely had us buy unnecessary things to get the business later and milk the warranty company for the most they could get. I also say that bc he insisted we go through the warranty company again even though we had a one year warranty with Ace. Be mindful this is something repair companies do with home warranties and make sure you get your receipt. Our receipt shouldve been emailed but we never received it.Abram told us he would come out on a Thursday but didnt show up until Friday afternoon ( THATS w/o AC IN THE JUNE HEAT OF HOUSTON). He turned his phone off and didnt return our calls until the next day. After we told Abram we didnt want to use them anymore he clipped our wires and removed the company label from our ac unit. Please do not get scammed by these cons. Art, the owner, still hasnt returned our phone calls. Terrible business.

My a/c unit was leaking and wouldnt get cold. I called Ace Comfort and they had no problem getting a service man out that day to check my unit. Once they found the issue it was a same day repair. Within 2 hours my house was cool and my unit gave me no problems since. With fast service and a good price i will definently call Ace for future repairs to mine as well ass others.

The service technician was a great guy and got the heater working again right away. Were very pleased and will definitely call Ace Comfort again if we need help.

Ace comfort came out and did a wonderful job with a new hvac complete trane complete system 16seer. Everything came out very clean and professional. This company really knows what there doing and at a very resonble cost.

Abrahm was professional and courteous. He was sent to my house by my home warranty company when my ac went out. The warranty company wouldnt cover my claim. So I hired Ace to install a whole system. The install crew came disassembled the entire system and reinstalled a new systems that same day. The install crew laid down covers for the flooring and were very professional. The new system works beautifully and I am finally cold!! My old system could run all day and I never felt cold. I recommend Ace Comfort for any HVAC job you may have. They will save you time and money. They are installing a new system in my fathers house soon.
