We were referred to Ben by our Solar PV Contractor, Ben came highly recommended and did not disappoint, meeting and exceeding all of our expectations.Ben is very knowledgeable, hard working, friendly and honest. His cost is very reasonable and his estimate was accurate. He replaced two of our old energy hog pool pumps with very energy efficient pool pumps which helped lower our electric bill substantially. Despite tight spacing to work within, he managed to fit the new pumps into spaces not designed for them.  Before and during the installation, Ben willingly shared some of his vast knowledge of Pools and Pool maintenance with us and we were very impressed.About a month later, we started having intermittent problems with our GFCI Breakers tripping on one of the pool pumps. Not knowing who else to call, we asked Ben if he had any ideas on what might be happening. He provided us with some possible troubleshooting tips which we tried, but when the problem was not resolved, Ben came over to check the installation himself. After about an hour of checking, Ben found that water had leaked into one of our existing electrical junction boxes! This problem had nothing to do with Bens installation, yet Ben went beyond what was expected and helped us find our problem! When we tried to reimburse Ben for his time in helping us troubleshoot, he declined, asking us instead to write a review or donate to a charity in his Company name if we really wanted to do something.Ben is a very rare and special person and we highly recommend him and his company Diamond Pool for any pool related work. My daughter referred me to Diamond Pool when I was having trouble with algae about ten years ago. Ben was able to get the pool under control quickly and efficiently and has kept the pool in top condition ever since. Ben has been taking care of our pool for 5 years now & by taking care, I mean more than just cleaning our pools. We werent happy with a couple of pool cleaners prior to Ben & we were referred to him by word of mouth by a friend. On his initial assessment of our pool, he did a thorough physical of our pool: water chemistry (ph, salts, phosphates) the condition of the plaster, our sensors, pool pump, equipment. He communicates any findings, offers a few options & lets you decide which option to take. He is a chemist, scientist, engineer, plumber, on top of pool cleaner. On 2 separate occasions he detected areas in our pool that was leaking that other expert leak detectors could not find (& then repaired it). When our old energy draining pool pump looked like it was dying, Ben gave us a couple of options. We went with the energy efficient pool pump which was more expensive, but within 11 months, the new pump paid for itself in electricity savings. Whenever we had issues with the pump or our solar water heater, we would go to Ben & he would play detective & sure enough, he knew exactly what the problem was.
