First time coming here to get a mani and pedi. Giant is hands down the best nail tech I have ever been to. She was extremely gentle and very meticulous! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!

I have been visiting this salon for many years. It is a high quality gel manicure. I would highly recommend Janice. She is responsive and professional. Julia does a great job with eyebrows. They are always nice and friendly.

This was the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional technician who messed up my gel pedicure and then blamed the equipment. Was argumentative and disrespectful. Very unhappy with final product and quality of service I experienced. They are clearly not concerned with making the customer happy. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. I expected a spa experience and it turned into a nightmare. I’m here on vacation and would not have chosen this place had I known this would have happened. The sign should have been yesterday when my cousin and I called ahead and asked for directions. They gave us directions and when we arrived minutes later told us they couldn’t take us because they were at capacity. We were like this could have been communicated by phone! The worst!

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! I first came here 2 days ago for a deluxe pedi with 2 friends and we were greeted by a rude receptionist. We proceed to the pedi and half way in another nail tech comes next to use and spoke in Vietnamese saying why are we getting this color, its ugly and that we should do blue. Not knowing that we also spoke and understood Vietnamese this whole time. We replied in Vietnamese and they looked shocked, it is unprofessional to talk about clients in another language! My friend also told her nail tech to not cut and only to file down her nail. The nail tech proceeds to cut her nails short and slanted even after it was filed. She brought up how its slanted and the nail tech grunted and looked annoyed. The deluxe pedi was also a waste of money because it was just an add on of the paraffin treatment and a sugar scrub that looked like regular feet scrub....Fast forward to today I had an appointment with Winnie at 3:30pm and I came in and had the same rude receptionist. I was told that my appointment was cancelled because Winnie left when I didnt receive any phone call, voicemail or text that my appointment was cancelled. It is frustrating and unprofessional that they didnt reach out to me about this. I am never coming back here again; overpriced services for horrible quality nails and customer service.

This is specifically for the service. My first time doing Mani and Pedi. My cousin was treating me Because I had treated her. It was nice at first but once my cousin went to go do her acrylics which I also asked for they started treating me like a kid that couldn’t choose if I could have acrylics or not and from my understanding they rushed me so they could get to the other customers who made appointments just like we did. I could have just painted my nails at home and stayed with my little boy and his father to watch tv. It’s a nice color and all and in the beginning it was nice but once my cousin was out of sight and they were doing my nails and the workers boss talking to me in that way and rushing me that was rude. Just by me let her know nicely that my cousin said we were getting acrylics and her saying that that’s not what my cousin said and tried to correct me that she said only Mani and Pedi and didn’t give specifics even though I was right there when she said it. I’m sorry but for my first time experience I rate the quality of service a 1-2 star at the most 3 because I am trying to be understanding that they had a lot of appointments but that’s not my fault and I’m trying to be nice about it. I shouldn’t have felt rushed or even be corrected especially when you know it’s going be paid for in full even if I had to pitch in. And for the boss lady or whomever she was to take in other customers right after she had my cousin pay for me and do Acrylics nails on them instead of working on me first that was unbelievably shocking and for me to just take it all in and just be nice which I usually do I was upset and unsatisfied with the quality of service. I can’t speak for everyone else that’s gone here and got perfect customer service but all in all it wasn’t the greatest first time ever it was actually one of the so so kind of first times and I most likely won’t be coming back. But thank you.

I’ve been twice and so far so good! The basic pedicure is reasonably priced and they give the longest foot/leg massages at the end. I’ve never experienced such pampering at another salon when just getting a basic pedicure. Great spot!

I have been pleased with Mani Pedi Spa and have used them many times for mani pedis.

I did the Spa pedicure and I loved it. The people are really friendly and doing a really good job. The salon is up to date and nice. I would totally recommend this place.

I asked for pedi cure and they told me they couldn’t do it because they were at full capacity and told me to wait outside. There was barley anyone there! The lady was rude

They had a great atmosphere and they did a superb job on the mani pedi. Definitely recommend them!

Poor customer service to say the least and lets not even talk about the cost and how it changes to suit the day I guess. Do yourself a favor and dont go there. $116.00 for a fill! That is with an 18% tip. However the time before that wasnt even $80 with the tip. 5 days after my fill I called unhappy with my lashes because of them falling out and one eye looking drastically different than the other. No return call! Okay maybe the pending hurricane was the reason. Today is now just day 9 and I had to call again. This is what they call customer service! Cone in and we will fix it for a one week fill price! Absolutely not! They should fix it for what I have already paid! I will never refer anyone to this shop.

The mani pedi spa is an amazing place to get your nails done! They have so many colors youcan choose from and they do an amazing job! The place was very clean and spacious! Would definitely be coming back here again!

Was a walk in. They were able to see me immediately for a pedi. Pedicure was relaxing and well done. They are sanitizing chairs and common areas frequently. Would recommend and will return when visiting Hawaii.

Over priced and under preformingIf you’re looking to get your nails done in town this is NOT it! I’m a huge acrylic coffin shaped lover. I’ve been getting my nails done religiously over several continents for nearly a decade. I’ve never spent so much on such subpar nails. There are sooooo many amazing places in Honolulu to get your nails done and this is not it. I got my mani on a lunch break (ended up having to take an early day because it took 3+ hours). The NEXT day my nails developed a weird green under tone, went back to have them fixed and after waiting an hour the tech complained the whole time how she has to fix nails for free (I was planning to pay her?!) minutes after leaving the salon the nails that were just “fixed” fell off. I went back and all the nail techs had left for the day.. at 4PM and the salon closes at 7PM... I had to go all the way into town on Saturday (horrible parking at ala Moana on a Saturday) just to pay $7/nail for something I didn’t do!? Long story short save your time and money and literally go anywhere else. Plus their covid thermometer is a photo thermometer which I’m personally not that comfortable with .. for privacy and/or efficacy

Angie did a beautiful job on my nails. She was very sweet and great to talk with. The place was neat and clean and very comfortable. I came early because I didnt have anything else to do before my appointment and they let me wait in the cool ac! I also had my brows waxed and they look great too!

I didnt want to leave a review initially but I have waited over a week now for a manager to call me and no one has. I was visiting Honolulu last week for a dental conference, broke 2 nails, this was the first shop I saw at the Ala Moana and reading reviews it sounds like I chose the worst shop in the Center. My nail tech Tina was rude right off the bat, wanted to charge me $12/nail and $20 for a polish change.. At that rate it was cheaper to get a fill so I opted for the outrageously priced fill instead of single repair. Tina began glueing new fake nails onto the ones that had broken off and on the second nail she somehow managed to squirt super glue into my left eye. Thankfully I wear contact lenses so a lot of the glue got on my lens but there was glue in my eye, the lower and upper eyelid and in my lashes. I immediately pulled my hands away and held my eye with the back of my hand. Tina asked if I was ok and I replied I think you just got glue in my eye. She immediately said NO, that was you! You touched your eye! Yes Tina, yes I did touch my eye... AFTER you shot glue into it. She then proceeded to argue with me and spoke very little english so it was like arguing with a rock. I asked to use a restroom because my eye was on fire and my contact lens was actually stuck in my upper lid, it was very scary. I was told there was no public bathroom. Of course... Then I asked to speak with a manager. The manager isnt here. Of course shes not. Then I asked to have another tech and she told me there was no one else. I felt so vulnerable as Im sitting there with super glue in my eye and 4 inch fake nails glued to my hands because she hadnt trimmed them yet. I couldnt even touch inside my eyes to get the glue out because they had powder all over them. I was finally given a rough paper towel and was able to use that to pull my dirty contact lens out. She continued to deny and blame me as she finished my nails and then proceeded to charge me $62 and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I left my name and phone number on a piece of paper and asked for the manager to call me to which no one ever did. Honestly, if the tech would have just said sorry this wouldnt have been an issue. But to sit there and place blame on your customer is just flat out poor customer service. I manage a dental office and we would never treat our patients the way I was treated at this establishment had it been my fault or not. After leaving there salon I went back to my hotel and was finally able to look into a mirror. I had super glue splatter on the bridge of my nose and the back side of my hand, on my eye and in my eye. I attached a photo and have videos as well that I will share where ever I can. DO NOT COME HERE! There are two much better salons you could go to at this mall. I REPEAT DO NOT COME TO THIS NAIL SALON!

Kati took great care if me!! She is so friendly and funny to boot! I didnt know I should wear flip flops for my toes and she offered to finish them a different day when I had the right footwear as to not ruin the polish! It was super sweet of her to go out of her way for me and I appreciate her compassion!

My manicurist was nice and did a good job. Opted for gel color to last longer, so far on day 3 and still no chips. Will definitely return.

When I saw her finishing touch, I had a bad vision it might be a bad one this time. I had a gel mani and so-called Delux treatment, paid $78.3, one nail broken the next day, two other nails damaged in a week. Don’t want to go back for a “fix”. Not worth my time. Should have answered “either” when asked “Do you want to pay the tip by cash or credit card?”

Love the location people are friendly enough but had to come back a second day to fix my nails and it still has a few issues. I have one nail that was sticky when I left. The side I guess did not dry but the tech swore it was good.

I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews but I was able to make an appointment within a half hour and my nails are absolutely PERFECT! It’s a bit pricey but they make it worth it.

I was visiting Hawaii from the Bay Area and I had lash extensions installed before I left. Unfortunately on the plane ride to Hawaii I started having allergy symptoms which I had never had before. A day or so after arriving to Hawaii I figured out my symptoms were due to my lash extensions. I was absolutely miserable. Itchy eyes, sneezing and itchy throat. My boyfriend walked to Target in the Ala Moana mall and happen to stubble across this place and sent me the information. I called and told them the situation and she informed me that were not allowed to remove lashes that they did not install but after my plea she stated she would speak to her manager. Instead of calling back I just walked over and at that point I spoke to the manager and to my relief she said she would remove the extensions. Longer story short. The extensions were removed and i was able to enjoy the rest of my trip. The lady who removed my lashes was also very nice and comforting. Thank you soooo much!!!

I called in last minute for a party of 6 and they were able to squeeze all of us in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The ladies were so warm and welcome and made us all feel so special.

I was impressed because usually I dont get a good pedicure at most shops. This is why Ive been going to the same person for almost 20 years, but here the young lady did well.

They are very quick to take your money and tip, however service is beyond horrendous. I got gel on hands, normal on feet, asked for same colour after 1.45hrs ended up paying > $80 for 2 totally diff colours. When I complained they didn’t offer my money back, only offered that I stay back extra time for a fix. Do yourself a favour and don’t go if you value your nails!!

Way to much money for the service ... the girls bickering back n forth of what we were getting done. We wanted a manicure n were told our cuticles were good we didn’t need a manicure needless to say we got our nails done. I’m use to getting a little massage after ... NOPE NOT HERE

I would give it no stars if I could, I got mine done 2 days ago and the acrylic is literally coming off my nails. They’re not chipped or anything just the entire nail is coming off of both of my fingers.

Upon arrival I was quoted $35 for pedicure. Kim who was doing the pedicure, did not speak a word of English. Upon leaving the premises I was charged $55. When I asked what was the price difference, I received an arrogance. And zero offer to honor the quoted price. This type of employees are the bad PR off your business.

I always get the best service, even when I call at the last minute. It’s my go to place for waxing and nail services. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I got a wart on my thub from coming here regularly plus the lady damaged my real nail which resulted in having to get it cut short . overpriced for the job she did. Thankfully, Adam was there to save the day! He’s the only one that works here that does high quality work and always works with my busy schedule. He’s come in on his day off multiple times to do my nails for me.

I was asked to pay prior to the service being performed. I hate to make a racial issue out of anything (as I’m Aftican-American) and I don’t normally jump to conclusions automatically, I attempt to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, I’ve never paid for nail service prior to it being performed. I will not patronize this business at all anytime in the future nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone else. It’s 2018, we should be past this point.

Made appointment for my wife I call to let them know Im on way but may be a bit late and I was told they already took my wifes name off the book. They could have at least called to let me know.

Decent manicure in a atmosphere. I wish you could still get a relaxing pedicure, where they let you soak your feet for 20 minutes I stead of starting to work on you the second you sit down.

My honey treated me to a Mani pedi after having performances while here on the islands. We came without an appointment, they were able to accommodate me with a short wait. I also had a paraffin wax treatment done on the hands as well as a hot stone massage on the feet and legs. The massage chair was nice as well. I did fall asleep a little bit during the massage. I will be back when I come back to the islands. Mahalo!

They lady giving me a mani went underneath my cuticle separating it from my nailbed. I bled, she apologized but nothing else was done.
