Had such a great time TODAY with the Captain and Estee, our awesome crew mate! From seeing sea turtles to endangered seals to colorful fish atop the BLUEST waters! Everyone on the boat caught at least 2 fish each and there were GORGEOUS views of Diamondhead, beaches and more!Great instruction, friendly, helpful, easy to understand and an AMAZING price that you cannot beat.We packed plenty of snacks and cold drinks which turned the trip into a true blast!

We had a wonderful time today fishing with the captain and crew of the Tortuga! It was a beautiful day and the fish were basically jumping into the boat. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and shared their expertise and wisdom to help enhance the experience. Mahalo Blue Ocean Hawaii! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Oahu!

We had a great time on this fishing charter. It was a great way to spend the morning on the water. There were plenty of small fish swimming around the boat, but good luck getting one to bite. Bring sunblock and beer!!

It was a lot of fun, great beautiful day on the ocean!! My Husband caught a fish, I didnt, but nobody can make the fish bite your hook! Helpful and friendly captain and crew! Will recommend to everyone for a fun few hours on the water ❤️👍

They take you to a reef close to Waikiki, and 95% of the people dont catch anything. The whole crew and tourists catch only 3 baby fish in total out of 22 people. This is a tourist trap. NO deep-sea fishing. If you want to have an actual deep-sea fishing experience, I recommend you to look for another tour or a better company. I got in this trap under a different name Ultimate fishing trip, but in the end is the same boat. I prefer to take the $100 per person ticket and give it away.

Nothing but good things to say about our trip!We had a blast there was 8 people fishing on the boat that day but it felt like I was the only one fishing. The captain kept us on the fish the whole time! captain and the deck hand where very knowledgeable of the different species of fish we where catching great guys I will for sure be back every time I am in Oahu.I really loved how much they love what they do !Hands down one the best part of my trip !

The crew was great. Need to find some new reefs maybe in deeper water.

Had a great experience fishing with Blue Ocean. They were great and informative on what fish when caught was allowed to keep / get eaten and which ones are obviously a catch and release after a quick photo. They cooked up a few of the ones we caught that planned to eat it there and let others take some home. We were lucky and were out on a good day that pretty much every caught a few fishes each. Highly recommend this for anyone that wants a nice quick fishing trip out in the ocean.

Great experience! My two boys loved going catching. The crew filleted our catch and we had dinner for seven later.

The boat hardly made it out past the pier...the captain told us a couple of times that we were going to go try other spots since we were not catching anything... he drove out and made a 180 and we went right back where we were. It was my sons 30th the day we went and he wasnt feeling good and they were NOT interested in rebooking so he could be with us. We had a diving boat and a snorkeling boat within a couple hundred ft and at one point there were 3 boats close to us. Fishing gear was cheap...several rods were broken...If I could give you zero stars I would. Waste of money and time.

We booked for an excursion but realized moments later that I could not make it and had to cancel. I was charged immediately and told I could not get refund even though their policy is that you have 48 hours to cancel. That is the worst customer service/care especially in these times. Beware that as soon as you book they will charge your card and their is no way to get refunded. We work hard for our money so cannot comprehend why they would be unwilling to be reasonable nor understanding. Would not recommend doing business with people like this

Went out with my wife and two daughters. There were about 20 people in all fishing and all together we caught about 15-20 fish in three hours. Honestly it was nice to get out on the water and see Waikiki form the ocean. The crew and Captain were friendly and nice. Most of the fish we caught were the protected State fish so we had to throw them back but overall it was a fun time! My girls loved it and want to go back again!

Not worth it. For 19 anglers 3 small fish Captain doesnt have an idea in what he is doing. Deck men slow, not organized, not prepared, anglers had to wait for their tackle 15-20 min. We fished for 2 hours, not 3 like it was advertised.For 87$ you can get Wahoo in restaurant.Trust me you will have better luck fishing from a shore.

I am convinced that this is the absolute best value for fishing charters in Hawaii. Super friendly staff, and captain Ryo is outstanding. Great way to learn fishing if youre inexperienced, the crew gladly offer whatever assistance you need. Plus on our way out we saw a dolphin and turtles.

Went out with my 7 y.o. for a Thursday morning trip. Had a really great time. Saw some whales, caught fish and grilled them on the boat, took in the nice weather. Well be back!

The experience was cool but their website clearly states We are unique from other fishing charters because we let you keep what you catch! which is a lie because no one on the boat got to keep anything (:

The best fishing experience I have ever had. You get to learn about the different fish caught, Rio treats you like family, and we even got to see the kids on our boat shoot water guns at the pirate ship passing by.

Been on this boat many times! Every time catch lots of fish. Braddah cooks them up on the BBQ so every one can taste fresh Hawaiian fish. I like it because it is only half day. Frees you up for the rest of the day to do other fun stuff!

Do not use this company. We were booked on a fishing trip today. Waited 2 hours and they never turned up. During this time the hotel rang a number of times and they said they were coming. At one stage they even said they were holding the boat for us. It was all lies. The hotel said they had had issues with them so not happy with the hotel booking us on there trip. The hotel say we will get a refund so hopefully we do. This has spoilt my day so please book with another company so you dont waste your holiday waiting for them.

Great crew and good time. We went with the kids and they were treated amazinly. The captain let each of our kids drive the boat. They grilled our catch for us...it was a good time.

Booked with them twice in the same week 10 min before pick up they called an said they have electrical problems both times I wouldnt waste time with them ! Sadly we never went fishing on that trip.
