When you make an agreement with someone, you keep it, you dont break it!! you explain everything up front, you agree to it, but when you make up rules as you go along that does not qualify as agreemen.The agreement,it is not to be changed because you feel like it or because you did not tell me the truth in the beginning,thats what has happened,when you dont tell people the truth it becomes a lie,when it is exposed,they dont want you to know many things, thats why they dont tell you up front, so in this process how can you trust them !? remember and agreement means 100% from you 100% from me!! when you dont tell me the truth up front you have lied. Another words when you know youre not truthful up front, youre lying. (Where is the trust and the honesty, integrity,responsibility, respect. This is so sad because it happens all the time to many people !! We are not to be subjects of deceit, disrespect, dishonesty)!!

I manage rental properties and recently a couple of them experienced water damage during some severe unexpected weather. Fortunately my clients had insurance, but unfortunately some of them did not have First Insurance. Working with 4 multiple big-name insurance companies simultaneously allowed me to distinguish the differences in quality right away. Not only was First Insurance the most responsive and had the best customer service, they had everything squared away BEFORE the other three companies contacted me to coordinate their investigation of damages. HUGE MAHALO to Jason Yuen, who went above and beyond my expectations and responded to every email/phone call, patiently explaining every step of the process. If I had a question he wasn’t 100% sure about, he let me know he would check on it and get back to me… AND HE DID! Right away! The other companies just kept telling me conflicting information rather than fact-checking. His professionalism and kindness is why I will be switching my personal insurance to First Insurance, and highly recommend others think about doing them same!

The staff do a great job in prepping your case. I worked with a friendly and smart claims adjustor. I got advise throughout the claims process. There was good communication and no fuss from the beginning.

I chose them for my commercial insurance due to their reputation as affordable and great customer service. I was recently rear ended and the insurance agents/adjusters were all super helpful kind and very on it with follow up calls and making things happen! I was incredibly impressed! I had no wait times on the phone to make my claim and the lady who took my info was sooo sweet!

If you wish to pay premiums but have your claims delayed, endlessly reviewed with the goal of reducing their claim payment, then this is the insurance company for you. Our claim for a June 17th, 2020 burglary is about to enter its fifth month yet unreasonable requests from First Insurance continue. For example, for a gift I received almost 40 years ago, First Insurance requests include a desire to speak to the person who gave the gift. For a watch purchased in Hong Kong over 15 years ago with a credit card I no longer have, somehow contact the card company and get verification of the purchase. This is just two of many examples that are deliberate attempts to reduce or eliminate their claim payment.

Almost a year into our claim of a total loss, the company decides that they will scam hard working mortgage paying customers out of their policy and not pay up for what they owe to rebuild this house, pay demolition and other additional coverages. PLEASE READ YELP REVIEWS of real customers. It is a shame that this company is still allowed to provide insurance coverages while scamming and profiteering from hard earned people’s monies only to leave them hanging after a disaster. They don’t want to pay to rebuild total replacement cost for our home that was totally burnt down during a house fire...this company is immoral.. sad sad sad...

I had a great experience with the adjuster, Alton Porlas. When my daughter was in an auto accident last year, Alton, guided us through the whole process of dealing with the other persons insurance to getting our car repaired. He was patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. The experience made me happy I was with First Insurance.

AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!I had water damage due to my air conditioning unit and rain and it took 2 months for these guys to let me know that nothing is covered and I’m stuck with the costs due to wording in the policy. It’s one thing that I’m getting screwed and have to pay..but I can live with that..it’s their poor customer service, inability to call back and update or check-in that made me furious. Below I have a timeline I kept showing how poor their service is and particularly the adjusting agent Andre Gordon. I’d give 0 stars if it was possible.Water damage occurred on 10/11/19First call from Andre (voicemail) on 10/17/19Supposed to come over on 10/25/19 to view place. I had to reschedule due to family. Andre was suppose to call me Monday/following week. I never heard back from him.Next call back (voicemail) on 11/18/19 after not hearing from him since the last phone callI ended up calling him during thanksgiving weekend and left a voicemail for him to try and schedule him to come by. His voicemail said he’d be out of office until the Monday after thanksgiving. He called me back mid week and we were able to schedule him coming over to take some photos and inspect (believe date was 11/29/19)I didn’t hear back after that. Called and left him a voicemail on 12/2/19 after getting more calls from extraction company regarding payment. His voicemail said again he was away until the following Monday. I never received a call back from him.I called today 12/11/19 and he actually answered and proceeded to tell me sorry things are covered due to the wording of the policy saying “surface water” was not covered.

We’ve had our business insured by them for probably 4 years and have just now had to use them to settle a small claim. Worst experience ever! Stay away! Your just a policy number to them.

I was involved in rear-ended accident. The at-fault partys insurance was rental car company. I thought I could handle without involvement of our insurance claim adjuster. The rental car company took 3 weeks and sent the check for amount a lot less than the appraisals recommendation. At this point, I called First Insurance to file the claim. The same day, Alton called me at 4:30 which is closed office hour. He was so helpful in recommending body shop and rental car arrangement. Everything went so smooth! Our car was parked on the street and got hit by someone. We couldnt identify who. We called the first insurance and they said we had to contact the Ford company to get estimate. We contacted Ford who didnt care to help. So we contacted local shop. The cost for the damage was $9,000 and the First insurance said they dont care, it wasnt their responsibility. They will not help the cost of damage. I am not sure why we have to pay for the insurance that dont cover anything, not even a dime. Customer service sucks. No help from the agent. We cancelled all insurance we had with them. DO NOT use them, they wont help you.

This week my auto insurance company was involved in an unexpected incident claim about my van. Very fortunately, I had an excellent work experience with both the Adjuster CJ and the inspector Joe. They both were extremely professional, efficient and responsive. They also provided clear explanation on each step of the claim process and they were always very patient with the customers. They made this investigation process easy and painless for their customers. They also concluded it with a fair and just decision. I will highly recommend these two fine gentlemen to take care of anyones insurance claims.

The place is like a clinical hospital where you can enjoy being there with security, a cafeteria, Doctors offices and close to the action!

Not convenient. But, maybe it is our broker(?) The delay to get a COI is unacceptable. Some insurance companies have websites where you merely login to your own account, then choose your policy number, and type in the name address etc of the certificate holder etc. Someone calls you to confirm the details. They will produce your COI within 24 hrs. You will get in email.

Still waiting for sereenna to call me back its been about 2 weeks. I sent emails and phone calls and so far nothing. Is there anyone else i can possibly talk to? I have my claim number and everything that is needed.

Beware of parking prices. Though there are Strab doctors there, the parking does NOT price their parking the same. A lot of signs in these offices have Strab parking prices but doesnt First Insurance parking prices. I have brought this to several people that work there but nothing has been done to inform patients.

Being in an accident is very stressful. I’m so happy with how I was treated by Alton and first insurance. Sereenna Noddings was so rude. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or what but her customer service was very unprofessional.I’ve had multiple policies with First Insurance for about 8 years. I will be contacting my agent and requesting a change to another company that actually values their customers.Sereenna needs to be retrained.

Our plumbing leaked last July 2019 and the plumber reported it to his insurance company which is first insurance. It is now 6 months later and we are still without hot water and walls and are still waiting for the repair work to be done. The insurance company keeps telling us they are waiting for bids. This is getting ridiculous and they don’t care.

This insurance company is horrible. My vehicle was rear ended by a semi truck covered by this company on Jan 23. Its now April 9 and Im finally getting my vehicle back. The adjuster was unresponsive and I had to keep on asking about getting my vehicle fixed. After finally getting a response I wasnt given a rental so was down a vehicle while it was being repaired. Horrible company and I hope you dont get in an accident with someone covered by this company.

I am currently filing a claim with this company and i am very disappointed with the agent thats helping me through it. She doesnt answer her business phone everytime i call her during business hours. I call and call and call but no answer so i leave voicemails. A week later she finally calls me back😡same thing with emails. Last time we talked before i could even say a word she rushed talking to me and said okey dokey bye bye now...smh. So much for great customer service huh? Very unprofessional, very rude and unfriendly. I know there are some good people working there but people like her ruins their image. Look for another insurance company people.

I would look elsewhere for business insurance. When I called to submit a claim, the receptionist on the mainline gave me several excuses why they didnt call us back. She also talked down to me (condescending) as to imply I was impatient and displeased. This is the least helpful customer service I have ever received from any insurance carrier. We will be shopping for another carrier.

Been trying to settle a claim since June, and it is October. No one answers the phone or returns promised calls, and when they finally do, no one knows how to accomplish anything. So unhappy with this company.

Got an email on the last day before my premium was to renew, to let me know they were not going to renew...this was an email sent to me after their offices had closed; with no explanation... I had not even one day to find another insurer.
