I rented a small tiller on Saturday morning. When I got to the garden I was trying to till, I could not get the equipment to start. Due to lack of time, I did as much of the area I could with a pick and shovel and then I returned the tiller on the way home in the afternoon, never having been able to get it to work after three hours of trying while I was doing the work by hand. When I returned it, I was required to pay the rental fee, even though I never got to use the tiller. I was told that because the person receiving the machine was able to start it, I was at fault. I have since learned that Home Depot also rents equipment. While I like to buy local, poor customer service is a deal breaker!

They have everything here. From construction equipment to fun stuff for the beach to party supplies. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and always helpful. I recommend this business to all my friends and family.

Weve always enjoyed the sign in front of the store but we are so glad to have gone inside to rent. Definitely going to be repeat customers.

Needed 2 wheel barrels, but only 1 was available at the time I called. The staff inquired with the other customer to see if they still needed the other one. Unfortunately, they did. This is great customer service and appreciate the support in assisting me. Friendly staff when I returned my rental. I definitely will consider using Hawaiian Rental-All for future projects.

Always rent from these guys. Recently rented stages etc for a rally and they arrived before time and were extremely patient with how busy we were. Would order and recommend again!

At first friendly service, but when a problem arose with their ancient equipment they had the nerve to blame the user and not the equipment. I agree with the post awhile back, go to Home Depot they have better customer service and they actually showed us how to use the equipment. The employee at Hawaiian rent all turned on the sander and he couldnt control it and it bumped into a table. Thats embarrassing. Their edge sander ripped through the grit paper in seriously 1 foot of sanding. Complete joke. I support local but I dont support bad local companies. Thumbs down.Side note, if their equipment/service was as good as their signs... I might reconsider.

If you are in the area and need a laugh, come across Beretania at McCully and take a look at their letterboard sign on the upper corner of the building. Theres usually some witty remark good for a chuckle.Seriously though, this is THE tool rental place for town folks. Theyre open 7 days a week. The staff is awesome - helpful & friendly.One thing to know before you go - if you blink, youll miss their parking!TIP - Right after you cross the McCully intersection in the mauka lane, slow to a CRAWL. The parking is in the alley at the Ewa side of the first building (theirs). Just pull in, and pull up past the open area. If theyre not slammed, a staffer will come out. Otherwise, mosey on in.HOT TIP - Take a look at their website BEFORE you go, so you already know what they have in the category youre wanting.

Tools not so good anymore. Average tool is in poor condition. Love this place but they need to either update or check out.

I had called to enquire about a floor machine that would take off the old mortar after removing the tile. The guy I spoke with wasnt very helpful he said they had the machine but when we got there it was one that couldnt be used inside. Every rental they had available was broken

Rented a STHIL 24 GAS CHAINSAW AND WAS DONE 1 1/2 hours later trimming my cousins ADVACADO TREE, & 2 KUKUI NUT TREES+ WE GOT THE 4 HOUR RENTAL RATE INSTEAD OF THE 24 HR.

Most of there tools are worn out, spend more time fixing them then using them. Prices are reasonable but need to cycle though new tools. Customer service is great, very friendly

Great place to rent a tool or generator for a party or function.

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. Quoted $40 a day over phone for equipment, drive all the way into town - guy says its now $90. Alright, screw it. Rent for one day, get there little after 5 so charged for WHOLE nother day. No 4 hours mentioned if returned in morning. No nothing. Get bill for two days = $250!!! These guys run shady, no excuse. Go to Home Depot, they rent tools now but these guys will do you wrong.

Need to rent something, anything? They probably have it. Service is fast but parking can be a nightmare.

A little expensive but convenient if you live in town.

Its not often that I need larger tools and machinery, but when I do, I have been using them for the past 30 year and never had a problem or any hassle.I miss reading your funny comments on your reader board ... dont get to drive past your store as often these days.
