This is the best dental clinic in south Florida - and I should know because I run a dental clinic up in Minnesota. My story: I was here on vacation and broke a tooth. It had been cracked for years and yesterday was the day of reckoning. I shopped for dentists in this area and passed on most - I was looking for the best, not the average. My search stopped upon reading about Dr. Carlos Llapur DMD who has 2 dental degrees and graduated top of his class. Dr. Carlos did my exam and told me what I already knew: I needed to extract a very, very important tooth. He was overly supportive of my situation - giving me time to process. He took time to explain clinically what had happened, showed me how long this was going on and assured me he would do the very best for me. The extraction took 10 minutes - and in that time he was able to place a bone graft for a future implant at my home town oral surgeon. Whats even more amazing - the whole procedure was seriously PAINLESS and once the Novocain wore off - there still was no pain! Im 24 hours post op and I still have no pain and can hardly believe it. Dr. Carlos is truly gifted well beyond the average doc - and south florida: you are soooo lucky to have him!! Im even contemplating flying here for future treatment - which says a lot since I get my treatment at the clinic I manage in Minnesota for free. Im referring everyone I know down here to this clinic. Any one reading this should absolutely come here too!!

Dr. Carlos Llapur is a Cuban born dentist educated at the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks perfect English and is a very competent dentist. He efficiently performed an extraction with a minimum of pain.He suggested Advil for post op pain. When I protested, he agreed to prescribe something stronger. When Walgreens didn’t fill the prescription, he immediately called the pharmacy and prescribed an alternative dosage. He also had one of the staff give me a call a couple of days to make sure my recovery was going well.Dental Associates of Hollywood was selected based on preliminary price quote for an extraction. The receptionist told me to expect to pay about $300. Sure enough, I was presented with a written quote for $309.But ten minutes later, I was told that price was a mistake. The new quote was $422—over $100 more because I wasn’t using insurance. In our warped healthcare system, you sometimes are charged MORE for paying cash. This practice is complicit by penalizing its patients for paying cash.

As many people, I’m always nervous about going to the dentist. After yesterday’s visit, I’m not anymore! Dr Llapur was the nicest, most informative dentist with the best bedside manner I have ever met. He showed me what was wrong and a detailed plan to fix it. His assistant was also great, being the first person to take a full mouth of X-rays without any difficulty (my jaw is a bit locked due to radiation treatment). Sharon, the hygienist was fabulous as well! She was friendly and used different techniques to clean my teeth without much pain at all. I was so impressed with this office that I will not only be returning but recommending to everyone who asks for a dentist. Thanks!

Dr. Llapur is a great dentist. He is great at what he does and makes you feel as comfortable as possible while getting your procedures. The dental hygienist Andrés is awesome as well. In fact the entire staff is top-notch. They have great communication and are very attentive, which is rare nowadays.

I used to hate going to the dentist. I hated it so much, I avoided going for years. Then, some married friends of mine told me how much they loved their dentist. The husband had not been to the dentist in years as well, for similar reasons. But he had a great experience and recommended Dr. Rezaie highly.That was around 8 years ago. Now I LOVE going to the dentist and I LOVE my dentist! I am treated like family by Dr. Rezaie and her staff. They listen to your concerns and address them. All the work I have had done was needed and done exceptionally well.This is one of the safest and cleanest places I have been to. If you have been holding off having dental work done, do yourself a favor and make an appointment here. You will be glad you did!

Amazing team, very professional from the front desk staff to the back end. Everyone in the office is so nice, I was looking for a good dentist office thats close to my house. I Googled and this particular dentist office appeared in my search, I read the reviews first. 95% positive feedback. There is room for improvement though, the amount of time the doctor spends in the room is very important. My wait time in the exam room was longer than my actual visit, I felt rushed once the Provider came in. Also my appointment time was changed without notice, the time I booked for wasnt the actual appointment time. I wasnt aware my appointment time changed till it was confirmed, this has happened twice so far. Appointments are confirmed via text messages and phone calls, I received a reminder text with another patients information and then right after that another text message with my information.Im still content with the service offered, till further notice. I do recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a new Dental office. Being in the medical field myself, I do know how important it is to offer great customer service. This team has it.

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! I would give this office a minus zero if it were an option! This office is all about obtaining as much money from patients as possible! Therefore, how great can Dental Associates really be?I went to Dental Associates on 9/24 looking for a new dentist. The office gladly accepted me and my insurance knowing very well that effective 10/1 they would be notifying my provider that they would no longer accept my insurance. They notified my provider on 10/1 that they will no longer be accepting my insurance (effective 11/1), but THEY NEVER NOTIFIED ME AT ALL during this time.I even reached out to Eunice Lopez (Practice Manager) on 9/30 requesting a copy of my treatment plan. This should have prompted her to notify me of the change. Unfortunately, it did not. Instead, she sent me a detailed plan outlining my cost under an insurance plan that her office would no longer be accepting. Again, the notification went out the very NEXT DAY!My first appointment was on 11/3. After my appointment, I asked Ms. Lopez about adding secondary insurance to my plan. She told me that the office would no longer be accepting new patients under my secondary plan; therefore, I should get her a copy of the card asap. I did so that same day and we had an email exchange on 11/3 and 11/4 relating to my SECONDARY plan. There was still no mention of my primary plan no longer being accepted.However, today 11/23, I went in for my second appointment and at the end of the appointment, the dental assistant came back with a document outlining new OUTRAGEOUS costs related to any future services AND HE WANTED ME TO SIGN THE DOCUMENT! I was in complete shocked, to say the least! Today, I was informed that my primary plan is no longer accepted and I would now have to pay roughly triple the costs for my dental services under my secondary plan--the plan they would still accept.Unfortunately, all that I have outline above is true and accurate. I have emailed documentation to support it. The timeline of events leaves me no other option but to believe that it was all intentional. Get the patient in, do not notify the patient that the office will no longer accept their insurance, you even send the patient a detailed treatment plan (including costs) stating that you would accept their insurance even though the very next day you plan to drop said insurance. Then once you feel you got the patient in, provide the patient with an outrageous bill and hope that the patient will be ignorant enough to accept the deception. PATIENTS BEWARE!!!!!!I should also add that I had absolutely no issue with the dentist. I do think he was great! It is the practice manager, Eunice Lopez, that I take very serious issue with. She may very well be simply an incompetent or deceitful person!

My first appointment was very pleasant. Dr. Rezaie was great and very thorough in her explanation. Sandra her Assistant was very kind. Eunice and Mairim were especially nice and very helpful.

I was assigned to Dr. Rezaie. She did a procedure on me. I was having trouble breathing, but she was more focused on finishing the procedure so that she can leave as soon as possible after making me wait for almost an hour to start the procedure. I eventually couldnt hold myself no longer and had to get up. After I laid down, she took a look in my mouth, stopped and started blaming me for not staying still and not listening to her instructions. Sorry that I have breathing problems in and out of clinics. I wrote it in my file, but it seems that no one read it. After the anesthesia wore off, I noticed my tongue was bothering me. I saw that I had an injury which she did not mention. I called to cancel all my appointments. I was told that the clinical manager will call me the next day, but it never happened (its been 4 days since I was told that...). I have more complaints about the clinic, but I think this is the most important thing to be said. I highly recommend to stay away from this horrid place.

I wish there was a 0star because these people have made my life a living hell for 1month refusing to finish their mistake. They wanted to charge me another 600$ to finish their job from a simple extraction. Definitely money hungry people they don’t care about nothing else.

My dentist, Dr. Harry Berkowitz, is a true professional with years of experience. His dental assistant, Sandra, should be a dentist. I have NEVER had such an efficient and professional dental assistant and feel such confidence when she is working on my teeth. Dental Assoc. is lucky to have her. Eunice is extremely helpful with financing. The front office staff is always pleasant, and they make going to the dentist a good experience.

This dental office is phenomenal. My husband doesnt have insurance and needed an emergency root canal. I googled dental offices near me and after calling 2 other offices that were unable to see him that day, I called Dental Associates of Hollywood and they were able to get him an appointment right away!It only got better from there; the facility and staff completely surpassed my expectations. The facility was impeccably clean, organized, and welcoming. Every staff member, from the front desk to the dental assistants, to the doctors were all genuinely kind, considerate, and supportive.They saw my husband and treated him within the hour. Certainly, after witnessing the facility, staff, and service, I became worried as to what the bill was going to look like. And then, just when I thought it couldn’t get better, IT DID! Seeing that my husband was uninsured, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We ended up paying less for his root canal than what we would have paid had we went to NOVA dental school.I am so happy I found this place and I would definitely recommend them!

Can we please take a moment and recognize that I have no anxiety coming into this office. I hated the dentised due to a very bad experience as a child. The only time I go is in an emergency.Well a few weeks back I had an emergency. I had broken a tooth and definitely new I needed a root canal because I could not eat solid for almost 3 weeks and lost like 20lbs from it.Not only was a new patient but it was, as I said before, an emergency. I went in, as per usual, filled with anxiety! I was welcomed with warm smiles, attentiveness and genuine compassion. The dentist, Dr. Llapur, did not lecture me just encouraged me to keep up the work to make sure I do not get worse. He looked over everything, came up with a treatment plan, explained it thoroughly and started the execution process.The Hygenist, Sharon, my god she has magical skills. I was in sever pain and needed to be numbed for my deep cleaning, I didnt even know the needle was in my mouth until I felt the medal on my tongue. And while, of course with 5 years of build up, it was the most pain free experience Ive had it was anxiety less due to Sharons calmness. Being in a room with her just calms you all around.At check out, Mairim was extremely helpful. She checked me in while the receptionist was with another patient. Then checked me out explaining everything to me. She even took the time to pull pricing for future work I need done and created a payment plan with me.And let me tell you about, Eunice! My first visit there while checking out I began calling the general oral surgeon for the work I need done. When I was hit with a stone wall of sorry not sorry by their receptionist she gladly stepped in and made sure everything was handled. For me that was such a relief because, honestly, the anxiety for dental work is so high for me I was just gunna deal with it. I mean why fight to get more anxiety. But no she took over and made sure everything was squared away for me.Thank you Dental Associates of Hollywood Staff. You have helped give me hope in fixing my smile again! I never thought Id say this but.... can wait to see you guys again!

They have a good dental hygienist but they over charge. I even set up a payment plan with them and yet they are telling me months later I still owe them money. I would never recommend anyone to this dentist. I thought they were different but they are just like every other dentist.

With the Covad Virus shut down going on, my crown on a back tooth came loose at 4:15pm. I called the office immediately. They answered! And scheduled me in the next morning. When I arrived, I was shown to a room that they were finishing wiping down. Xray was taken, and the tooth could not be saved. The Dentist explained everything to me and said the tooth needed to come out. A painless extraction and I was on my way.So thankful they were there for me when I really needed them.

Well, well where do I begin? The location is pretty easy to find. From stepping into the door, the waiting room is well lit, clean and filled with things to keep you entertained while you wait. The staff is very professional, from the front desk to the back of house. Everyone made me feel welcomed and is well rounded with knowledge. I went into Dental Associates today 1/17/19 and literally the best staff, my doctor was very nice. The ladies at the front desk were amazingly amazing, I mean so professional so sweet and understanding. I felt really cared for. I will recommend this dentist office to everyone I know. This place was amazing! As I arrived, the first thing I noticed was how organized the office was. I came right before the time of my appointment and they got me right in. The front desk was friendly, and the assistant that took me back, I believe her name was Diana, was very helpful as well. The hygienist took her time and was very gentle cleaning my teeth, and Doctor Rezaie was knowledgeable - she took her time explaining my treatment options. Definitely would recommend.

The office is very clean, and they see you promptly. They were very understanding when I had to bring my four year-old to my last appointment and gave her stickers during my exam to keep her entertained.

I am writing this review based on my personal experience. I am not here bash this company however I here to share my personal experience. I have been a client at this location for years. As far as dental cleaning goes for me dental cleaning services at this location has always been AMAZING. In March 2018, I had dental work done. In ONE YEAR March 2019, the filling came off. The hygienist told me I needed to schedule apt with the dental doctor. I schedule to do the repair at the same time of my next dental cleaning September 2019. The office charged me for services that was already done a year ago. The office staff told me I had to pay deductible which was NOT true. I should not have been charged at all. I reached out to my dental insurance MetLife and they stated they will NOT pay for services that was paid for and done previously on the SAME tooth. They will only pay if the work is older than 24 months. I saw the dental doctor at 9:00am and I left the office at 10:40am. Please respect my time the same way I respect your time by being on time to my appointment.. I reached out and spoke to the office manager. The office manager and I came to an agreement and they are working on submitting a refund (RECEIVED). The office manager did apologize and stated it was a miscommunication. When it comes to teeth and selecting a dental doctor you want to know that the doctor that you are trusting with your teeth is doing the best job to the best of their ability. Although dental work is not guaranteed but things like fillings should not come out in a year. As a patient, this is unsettling and is a valid concern.

After neglecting my teeth and avoiding a dentist visit for many years, I moved back to Florida and decided to try Dental Associates of Hollywood. Ive had many fillings, cleanings and a crown done over the past 3 years and it was one of the best decisions Ive ever made, Andrea is a fantastic hygienist with cleanings and I cant thank the incredible Dr. Rezaie enough for fixing my teeth and gums. Im still a patient and would highly recommend this location.

Visiting the dentist office is usually not something we do with pleasure, but I’ve been going to this location in Hollywood and every time I leave with a big smile, the Team is great, they explain every procedures and make sure you understand what’s going on in your mouth.

I was looking for a new dentist. I searched and searched, finally landed here. Front desk staff, hygienist, assistant, Dr. Rezaie.. all friendly, thorough, helpful. All questions and concerns about my rather complicated case were addressed without any sense of resentment for all the questions I ask. I see a few negative reviews on here... I guess there is always the possibility of something not going as planned, Ive been there! But so far, only the highest compliments to everyone at the office.

Best dental office I have been to. Front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Llapur was gentle and explained everything. His assistant Ines was very nice. This office helped me get over my anxiety when it comes to the dentist! Definitely recommend the office!

This was my first time visiting this office. All the staff were very friendly. Dr.rezaie & Saundra did a great job. When pulling my teeth they made it enjoyable and pain free! Definitely will be coming back here due to the professional and kindness this office gives.

It’s all about the money. I came in for a simple cleanup and they told me they have to do a “diagnostic” appointment first. Obviously, the cleaning that I supposedly need is not the one my insurance covers. Their attitude was so negative. The doctor acts like he simply knows better because he is in a position of power. I kept asking questions and they wouldn’t answer because they expect patients to blindly trust what they say. All I wanted was a cleanup and they said they will not do anything less than what they diagnosed, which of course, it wasn’t covered by my insurance.

I’ve been with this office for the past five years and it has been the best dental experience. The staff and Dentists are kind, compassionate, gentle and most importantly, nonjudgemental! Have a fear of dentists? Go to Dental Associates of Hollywood!

I have been a patient at the above dental office for many years. I have had nothing but positive experiences on each visit, including emergency visits when they fitted me in due to needing immediate treatment.Dr. Rezaie is an exemplary dentist as are her dental assistants, always concerned about my comfort when performing work on me. She keeps me informed as to any additional treatment I may need, whether it be immediate, or something that can wait awhile. I have had no issues with any work performed at this location which has been numerous.Andrea and Sharon, the hygienists, do thorough and excellent work as well while also showing concern for my comfort while performing their jobs.Eunice, the office manager, does an exceptional job in running this office.The receptionists are efficient and do a fabulous job handling the public in a prompt manner whether in person or by phone.I am writing this in lieu of a video to express my appreciation to all and to share with anyone in need of a Dental location that provides pain free comfortable work that this office is superb.Barbara P

This dental office is one of the most organized dental offices Ive been to. Always on time with my appointments Staff has great customer service skills very professional. Sharon does wonders to my teeth and explains everything so that I can understand. If there is an issue with my billing Eunice takes care of it and resolves the matter instantly.

I have been attending this dental facility for quite a few years over 4 now and I must tell you the staff there is great. I am not just saying that they really are! They are pleasant(always smiling), helpful, and informative. From the time you step in to the time you leave you always feel at home there. I see Andrea for my cleanings and although she is a bit ruff sometimes I know ill be leaving there with everything done right, my mouth feels well cleaned and I leave knowing everything about my mouth that I needed to know, no questions left unanswered. They always provide you with a detailed billing and they explain it especially what your insurance will cover, or your out of pocket costs. And they dont rush you, make you feel like this has to be done right now or your teeth will fall out.(lol) I love this facility. Both my husband and I visit there every 6 months. Why arent you a patient yet??

Hollywood dental associates is by far one of the best dental offices I have been too. I have been with them for about 6 years and I am beyond satisfied with all their services and customer care. I recently got 3 crowns and Dr. Rezaie and her assistant Diana did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend this dental office to anyone! Everyone has been great!

Dr. LLapur and staff are simply amazing! the wait is not long at all and everything is explained in detail. I drive 30 minutes just to go to this office. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love everything about this office. The staff are amazing and flexible with appointment options. The doctors are willingly to work out payment options if needed and really listen to your wants and needs.

Dr. Repair and the team in hollywood is awesome. I had a broken tooth and they got me in same day as a new patient when other offices were talking about a week. The front office staff is great and Eunice made everything go smoothly.
