Chuck is an honest man, gives you the lowest price possible. Charged me nothing to check my ac. Also gave my friend the lowest price to fix his ac. Dealer wanted over $1,000, Chuck got it done for a fraction of that! Hes awesome!

For over 30 years on near the Ravioli place off 56th street on Johnson Street is Chucks Auto A/C repair. There is a reason hes been there 30 years 1. hes honest 2. he knows how to fix an a/c. I took an old car to him that every other place said without checking I would need a new compressor. Chuck opened the hood asked me what the problem was and 2 minutes later he held up a little switch and said we need this part. About 30 minutes later I had cold A/C again and did not need a compressor. Im glad I remembered Chuck was there. Now I want everyone to know Chuck is still there. So if you have an A/C problem skip the big chain operations they just try to upsell you stuff you dont need. Support you local business and get the right fix for your A/C I hear its going to be another scorcher this summer 2021.

I have been using Chucks Auto Air Inc for over 25 years for all my air conditioning service in all my cars. In Sunny South Florida heat, it is a MUST to have your system working at peek performance.Chuck is the man to keep you in the cool! Honest, reliable service at a fair price. DO NOT GO! Extremely rude and has no idea what hes talking about.I went in because my AC wasnt working and he checked it out and told me my compressor and freon were both good. He checked to see if it was the relay, he switched it out and it seemed to work. He told me it was $25 and that I also needed some $75 service. Me trusting him I did the whole thing and it was $100. As soon as I leave the shop to go home within 2 minutes, I make a U-turn back and tell him the the AC light is blinking and that the AC isnt working. Here comes the BS, he says that I need a compressor... If my compressor and freon are good how and why do I need to fix that? He refused to return my money and was not helpful at all. It shouldve been handled professionally and/or I shouldve left with my AC working. My AC still does not work, I wasted $100 and didnt get anything but an attitude.

Well he is a grumpy old man that runs the shop. The prices are reasonable. Would like to think it is an honest shop but not sure as I have some mechanic ability and ac training. Knew the ac wasnt working and kind of knew why but didnt have the time or the tools so I figured to stop in. Coached them along what I thought was wrong and what they should look at first. I was right and it was a simple basic fix. It was mostly labor and they had the part. In and out in less than an hour and the prices are fair. Would recommend and would visit again if I had a broken car ac. All ready sent one family member in to go see them.

Ive been coming here about 15 years personally and now bring my companys fleet here for any AC related issues. They know exactly how to diagnose a problem and fix it. Honest too! They dont try to sell you a compressor when it might only need a new cheap fuse. Great place!

I only visited Chucks Auto Air once, a few years back, but it was such a great experience that I wanted to leave feedback. Id taken my car there for an AC tune-up on the recommendation of a friend - just wanted it in order pre-summer. They checked my AC thoroughly and advised me that it was fine and didnt need any work. I tried to pay them for there time and they refused payment - just said mention them to anyone else who needs auto AC work. I certainly have done this! And btw - I met NO grumpy people on that visit.

Mr Chuck is a nice guy, but he made me waist 2 weeks waiting for parts that he got wrong and finally told me he can’t fix it! He gave me back my deposit, with a little struggle because he doesn’t know how to use the credit card machine, and he also made me come earlier because yesterday he didn’t open and today he was going to close early because his business is low. Just a waist of time and gas!

Took my car to another company and was diagnosed with needing a new compressor and some other parts for a whopping $750. Came to see Chuck after a friend suggested him. He told me I needed a switch changed out and that he could get the part within a few hours. I left and ran some errands and returned later. Less than 20 minutes after I returned my a/c was blowing ice cold! My total bill? $25!Chuck is honest and old fashioned and just does a good job! Highly recommend seeing him for any a/c issues!

Chuck was nasty and mean. Seems like he hates his customers. They are definitely not in the service industry. I would not bring your vehicle here under any circumstance. Besides being way overpriced and nasty they seem to think they are the only game in town. Try any of his competitors on the same block for actual good service and great prices. We should have realized his reviews are all fake.

Very reasonable, very honest. I drive older cars and Chuck has maintained the A/Cs in tip top condition at very reasonable prices. This guy is definitely a straight shooter.

Chuck had the chance to make more money than he did on me but he only did what needed to be done. He will diagnose quickly while you wait. Hope he lives a long time and keeps working on my cars.

I arrived and Chuck found the problem within 10 minutes, he ordered my parts and called me when the parts arrived 2 hours later. I returned and his mechanic had the parts in within 15 minutes and I was on my way. I was given a fair price, the work was done professionally and in a timely.manner.

Looked at car quickly after arriving to determine problem with the a/c. Refilled a/c at very reasonable price and honest estimate for repairs needed down the line taking into consideration the condition of the vehicle.

If you need your car or truck a.c. system fixed this is the only place to go. Honest old grumpy dude runs the place but gets the job done.

I told him to check the leak, he told me that there was no air leak, he put the gas on a few days, he did not have air conditioning, I went back and he told me that the repair cost more than $ 1000 (he did not want to repair the leak), I went to another workshop and they repaired the air leak with gas I spent 150 $.
