I have been a customer of this specific State Farm office for 15 years now. They have handled everything weve asked them to. I have used car insurance, life insurance, home insurance, personal articles policy, and even gotten a totally new roof after a hail storm. Tim and his staff never pressure you or push unnecessary products on you. In fact, he will talk with you and find ways to lower your bills for services you arent using. State Farm has always been a good company for my family, but Tim Farless and his staff are excellent and quietly go about doing what they are supposed to do. Also, dont forget to ask about State Farm bank and the financing they can do when you purchase a car. Saved me a bundle and I didnt even know it was an option.
I had to take my son to get his license changed over to a North Carolina license and I did not have the proper insurance form with us. I called Tim Farless State Farm and Kim helped get the forms faxed right over without any delay. They are great!!!

Excellent customer service from the office of Tim Farless Agency, in Holly Springs, North Carolina. After striking a deer with my 7 day old car, they took the time to care and listen while I expressed my concerns. They recommended a local body shop and pointed me toward the Customer Service line. Contacting the customer service line was a terrific experience, as they took the time to explain how the entire process works. By the next morning I received an e-mail from the claims center advising me of my claim number and all of the items I needed to do, as well as a call from Hertz rental car, initiating the process of a car rental. . The only thing I had to do was take my vehicle for the an estimate and pay the deductible. I didnt do a single thing.I have not had a single wreck, nor a need for an insurance claim since the last deer I struck 20 years ago, therefore I was a bit nervous about the process. State Farm took care of every single detail and I had not one bit of stress in the entire process. The vehicle was fixed within a week and life was back to normal.Thank you Tim Farless Agency of Holly Springs, NC! This situation was a pure example of unbelievable customer service and the way in which businesses should operate. A huge thank you from a happy customer!

Very friendly folks. Easy to get a hold of a live person. Seems like they have your back. (Ive not had to file a claim yet, hopefully that wont change. :) Their annual review is a wonderful thing, and quite a change from our previous insurance company. Price seems very good as well, especially considering the excellent customer service.
From day 1 this particular State Farm has made me feel like a valued customer. They are always explaining things to me when I dont understand. They sound like they really care and I value that, it doesnt sound fake. Also, they are always swift responding to me e-mails or phone calls. Very good rates and never make me feel unappreciated. Customer service was great until I had an accident. Then they call me and tell me my rate is going to DOUBLE!! After 12years of clean driving they (state farm) dont even care. Sorry Tim you might be selling for the wrong team. Like a good neighbor.......nope.

Yes, Tim operates a State Farm office, so you might think its like any other insurance company; I mean, how different could one be from another? Well, I can tell you by experience, there is a difference. And the difference is service and solid insurance advice. For example, just a few days ago I realized I had failed to insure a particular item and called over the weekend in a panic. See, I travel continuously in my work and didnt exactly know what to do as I was once again heading out-of-town. So, on an early Sunday morning...no, he didnt ask me to wait for Monday office hours...Tim took his time to go to his office, call me, and make sure I was properly covered to give me peace of mind. He simply didnt have to do it, but he did. Ive been a customer of Tims for over a decade...I will never shop for insurance elsewhere as long as his agency is around.
There were two reasons I chose State Farm. The first being the homeowners insurance rates against the dog and not the specific breed. Second, David Michel whom is an agent at this office, rated me much lower than Esurance for my vehicle and was able to come around and give me MUCH better insurance for the same price, or so I thought. The motorcycle insurance was only a few dollars more so I thought that this was a great deal and I had been getting screwed over by Esurance.I end up making my first payment after talking to David and it seems all is well. I then realize my bill for $202.88 went up to $259 and $264 the next two months. That didnt seem right so I went and looked at the final policy documents. It appears David quoted me the $202.88 and never mentioned that it would be raising monthly to a much higher rate which defeated the purpose of me bringing my auto insurance over as well.I reached out to David via email, which he generally responds to within a couple of hours, and there was no response for about three weeks now. I had informed him we needed to discuss what was going on with the policy as it didnt seem to meet our terms that we had discussed and I wanted to cancel if that was the case. Thao, who holds some sort of administrative position at the State Farm office reached out to me to sign a policy document and I refused stating I would not sign anything until I had heard back from David. Thao was quite nice and informed me she would reach out to David and remind him. Still no response.At this point I just went to my financial institution and had them reduce the last two payments to $202.88 to call State Farm into action so we can rectify the situation and I finally received a response last night. A bill that still shows around $260 with the two $60ish dollar charges added in or THEY WILL CANCEL MY INSURANCE. Great, because I am about done with State Farm after this. I have been trying to avoid using the phone so I can have any interaction documented at this point and I may have to turn to certified mail since even if I cancel my insurance we will still need to discuss the roughly $120 in question that I never agreed to pay for in the first place.I give David at this office a vote of no confidence and am extremely underwhelmed by the lack of response. All other interactions were cordial and responses were prompt. As soon as there is an issue all of a sudden there is no response. Im not convinced State Farm is a bad company, I think this office or maybe just David is a bad apple. I have this idea that when it comes to insurance I just know what I am supposed to pay and I pay it every month. If you do shop here make sure they do not just quote you a number for the monthly payment and do not inform you of increasing rates. Please do the math to find the payments average over 6 months or you could end up in this mess I am in where it is possibly headed to a long, boring, and time consuming case with the NC State Attorney Generals Office.
