5/21 Excellent service called late evening that my a/c was out and they called by 8am and there repair technician (Melvin) was at my house by 1pm. Repaired the unit in about 15 minutes- bad capacitor.9/21/21- had a mini split system installed in my new sunroom- Michael and Andrew the technicians did a fantastic job. Brandon the sales rep was super professional- explained everything and delivered on everything. I would highly recommend Ideal.

Weve used IDEAL to install and maintain heat pump units our past two homes, over the course of nearly 10 years. The team is always professional and knowledgeable. Most recently, weve appreciated their persistence in attending to a recurring heat pump unit failure; the underlying issue was a major component that was under manufacturer warranty, so the manufacturer insisted upon a lengthy trial-and-error process to ensure parts werent being replaced unnecessarily. Throughout the process, we never met a tech who wasnt awesome and our issues are now (hopefully) permanently resolved.

David was very pleasant to work with. Showed up in a timely manner, understood the situation, promptly provided an overview and was able to resolve right away. We appreciate his expertise and efficiency but even more so his pleasant professional demeanor.

We signed up for a service plan with Ideal Services and were very pleased with the service provided and the experience overall. We have only been in our house a few years, so I was somewhat skeptical when they showed me 2-3 things that needed to be repaired/updated on the system. But they clearly talked me through each instance, showing me photos and documentation on why the home builders had done something incorrectly. I never felt like I was getting sold or pressured, it was an honest conversation and I was able to make the final decision with all the information provided.They were also very professional during their visit - wearing booties and masks without being asked and clearly taking me through everything they were going to be doing and how long they were going to be there. Our experience with Ideal Services was everything we could have asked for. Matt, our salesperson, was knowledgeable and helped us get a furnace quickly - which required installation - so that our HVAC could be back running in a short few days. Highly satisfied with the removal and installation of a new HVAC system

We had our 1st floor HVAC replaced with a system to also include our basement. We also added a plasma filtration system for killing viruses and improving air quality. Shout out to the guys who did the install: Hunter, Michael, Greg, Duane, and their awesome manager, Brandon! We had a couple of issues along the way dealing with our basement, however, these guys pulled through with excellent professionalism and customer service. That’s really a true test of a company, and they went above and beyond to help us out!

First time using Ideal Services for my HVAC maintenance and I was quite pleased with their professionalism and service!

Had them come out as I was having AC issues with my first floor unit. The service tech that came out was nice enough, we suspected a leak because I had that issue previously that was repaired under my home warranty and the symptoms were similar (Plenty of airflow but air was not cold).Sure enough he tested the pressure and it was a few pounds less than it should be. He stated that he could not find a leak in the system though he admitted he was newer on the job but stated he had gone over the system thoroughly and talked with a manager they stated theyd have to do an expensive nitrogen test to find the leak. We discussed and figured that it was likely a slow leak and that if we topped off the coolant it would be okay through the end of summer and Id get it fixed next spring.Adding coolant did not help our house was still very hot so I called another company out to get a second opinion. They stated that they rarely have to perform a nitrogen test to find a leak. When they came out they were able to find the leak immediately, as you can see in the picture it is on a weld where the coolant line attaches to the outside unit. It was large enough you could feel the hole with your hand and feel the coolant / oil leaking out. He let me know that the coolant lines have oil, so as you can see in the picture it is pretty obvious the area that it has been leaking as there is oil all over.The other company is repairing the weld, performing a nitrogen test to verify it holds and there are no other leaks in the system and replacing now 5 pounds of coolant lost (6 days after it was refilled) for about the same price Ideal Services Heating & Cooling quoted me to do the nitrogen test alone.I am disappointed that they were unable to find such an obvious leak and I am now paying for coolant twice. I was also put off by the technicians persistence on trying to sign us up for a yearly maintenance contract though I am sure they push him to do so. The other company offers this service but was not pushy about it.

Melvin was the tech that came to my home to help us out when our faucet broke and caused our heating duct to flood. Both Melvin and Adam were very professional, helpful, and responsive. This was the first time we have used Ideal but so far I would recommend them along with use them in the past.

Purchased a new home with 2 HVAC systems. Noticed my lower HVAC system was running extremely long while in heat mode and had Ideal come out to do maintenance on both. Lower unit was 15+ years old and need repair/replacement. Brandon gave me several options and I opted for replacement with a high energy efficiency rating. Michael, Greg, and Hunter came out early the day of replacement and worked late to get it installed that day. They did a very thorough job and were all very professional. My new unit is great and has even reduced the amount of run time for my upper unit.

Had problems with the furnace and Idea came out to perform HVAC maintenance. Discovered a bad capacitor which they replaced. I have to refill my propane to get an accurate operational test to ensure everything is working as is should but the service from this company has been excellent . I highly recommend their services. The technicians have been very knowledgeable and explained everything. I would have given 5 stars if I had been able to test my furnace and I will update my review once my propane is refilled and I can properly test my furnace. (Which is totally on me and not due to their services)

We were having a problem with our AC and called Ideal Heating & Cooling. Melvin B was our technician and was very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly identified the problem and took the time to explain it and went over the options to fix it. A new part had to be ordered but he made sure the system was cooling before he left. We have used several different companies to service our HVAC over the years and can say that Melvin B is the most knowledgeable, helpful & courteous technician we have ever had. The technician that came to our house (David H.) was the most professional and polite technician we’ve ever met. He took time to explain exactly what was wrong when he fixed our unit. All in all, the best and most pleasant service call I have had.

After a weekend with a broken upstairs A/C unit, I was referred to Ideal’s Service Dept. by one of the company’s experienced sales reps, Terry Hamilton. Terry informed me that he would have a scheduler contact me to set up an appointment and within 30 minutes I received their call. An appointment was set for the following day with a 2 hour window for arrival. Within that very time frame the following day, I received another call from the office informing me that the technician (Mark) was on his way and would arrive within 15 minutes - which he promptly did. Mark was extremely thorough and efficient, clearly explaining to me the various diagnostic steps he was taking and the associated costs along the way. Mark was able to diagnose the problem with the system within just a few minutes and had us “up and running” in a very short period of time. After checking the function and efficiency of the rest of the system, Mark completed the paperwork/payment for the transaction, explained the benefits and cost of Ideal’s Service Plan, and was on his way. From start to finish, my experience with Ideal was very professional, timely and efficient.

Ideal was responsive to the issues we had with our heating. Multiple issues occurred with our system and Ideal did everything needed to get the system working. They bent over backwards to get the system working including installing a new thermostat at no cost. (I provided the thermostat)

Writing a review on in a public format is not something I like to do or do often. However the service from the Ideal Heating and Cooling during a recent Mini-Split install well exceeded my expectations. Starting with Andy my sales contact who was personable and respectful with all the protective Covit-19 gear while also keeping me informed every step of the way. Personally, I get frustrated when I dont hear anything and than get surprised with changes at the last minute... this did not happen... thank you Andy!! What really took me over the top was the install crew. Dewayne (the lead tech) and Addison assisting maintained a professional and simply kind engagement with me during the whole install. They answered questions that only a home owner could think off all while doing an install that was clean and to the highest quality. The lines are dressed in with all the supporting braces that has the appearance an original install... not an after thought. To top this off, I was impressed with their continued focus on getting my job done that was illustrated at the end by identifying that they had the wrong power breaker at the end of the install. Dewayne took the time to visit 3 or more supply locations until he found the correct part. I have seen too many times where the final touches either never get done or they are differed to a later time... this was not the case here as they left the job site clean and 100% completed. Once again I was super impressed and would and will return my business to Ideal for future Heating and Air Conditioning needs. Thank you again Andy, Dewayne and Addison for a job done right... you guys set the bar high for others.

We had a wonderful experience with Ideal Heating and Air. Our heat went out and our call was answered by Bella, who was friendly and knowledgeable - she had someone over to our house within the hour. Justin assessed the issues with our system and ultimately recommended replacing our unit. He compared prices for us, guided us through options, and helped us get a great price on a top rated system. Michael and Hunter installed our new system (and hauled the old one away) and also set up the smart thermostats so I can control them with my phone. Justin and the service manager, Brandon, have checked in with us throughout the process, made sure everything worked well after installation, and handled the permit process. They have been wonderful to work with. We would certainly use this company again and recommend them.

6 years of problems, frustrations and tears have finally come to a welcomed end. In these years one technician after another has come to service the problems with my 2014 top of the line Trane XR Zoned approximately 15/16 times. The tech was here again yesterday for the second time in 9 days for a heating issue. At this point I asked for a replacement unit of lesser value and problem free, he tells me the Service Manager said...That aint gonna happen. Then he says my service contract ended 11/18...a month early...and do I want to renew, poor man hung his head when he said that...No...I dont. At this point I will not be getting the 4th and last maintenance service we had agreed upon. Ideal Services is less than ideal in my book. I am finally free to find a company to take care of these issues or simply replace the unit all together. As well, years ago both the GM and Service Manager had told me that if I left Ideal my warrenties would be void and recently I found that statement to not be 100% accurate.

Our AC broke on a Saturday after we had our carpets cleaned so they were all wet, so we needed to get our AC fixed ASAP. We called Ideal Services Heating & Cooling and Mark was there within 2 hours, and fixed our system in less than that. He showed up with a face mask and slippers to protect us and our freshly cleaned floors. He was very professional and knowledgable. The Ideal technician came for the spring A/C check. He was very thorough,: cleaned the compressor unit, removing leaves and debris. He checked the inside unit, fixing a crimp in the pump line so that the condensed water could flow freely to the outside hose drain.

I was charged over $600 for 2 lbs of R22 Freon. I called several other HVAC companies and most of them charged half this amount for 2 lbs of R22. I asked Ideal about the charge (giving them the opportunity to make it right) and they basically told me that their Freon is worth more than other companies Freon. I felt taken advantage of.. And they would not make it right. I had been a previous client and spent a lot of money on a new HVAC system about 3 years ago with Ideal. I would not recommend this company.

Very friendly, professional sales presentation that made it easy to make a decision what unit was right for us. Low pressure and let the company and system sell itself.Installers were here on time and left the house as clean as when they arrived. They made sure we knew how to operate our new thermostat before they left.This was our first experience with Ideal. Counting on their service to be as good.

I can depend on their quality and expertise. Brandon came out today for a service call. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and made sure all my questions were answered. I wish i can give it less then 1 star to Brandon n Ideal Heating and Cooling i gave them initially 4+ rating just because the responded me on timely but my recent experience with them is terrible, very very badhere is my experience Initially i contacted Lowes to replace my HVAC for 2nd floor unit and they hired Ideal services to replace my hvac unit and it was done, 2 year later i reached ideal and asked them to provide me quote for same unit to replace for 1st floor and Brandon from Ideal told yes we will give better quote then lowes for same hvac unit it was all verbal on my phone and in person conversation but later without even my knowledge in contract he gave different hvac units which is total unacceptable and i didnt realized that when i contacted them back they started saying they never gave quote for unit what i already got. Guy from his company came and started replacing units and thats when i found this and Informed to Brandon and his office and work stopped in between and left my home with no hvac unit on first floor with gas leak n left bare electric wire hanging put the house in danger situation and for unit is on my 2nd floor which i have been asking from initially now Ideal give me high quote. they put me in very bad situation and left me with so much of stress and loss which is really hard for me to describe here, if you dont want to go over with the issue i went thru just stay away from them.

The folks at Ideal have been great to work with. Brandon, Miles and Alex were easy to work with and did excellent work. The sales and installation folks are knowledgeable and responsive. So are the techs who serviced our gas logs. Thank you and we will use Ideal as our HVAC company going forward.

The Technician was fantastic!! He was on time, respectful, and diligent. He didnt rush the job, but made sure to get everything checked thoroughly. And he took the time to answer any questions I had. I couldnt be happier with this service!!

My experience with Ideal was terrific. My AC was down and there were a couple hiccups with my technician, which is understandable given the number of calls they were experiencing. I was able to talk with a manager who explained the situation and made clear that customer service is their primary concern. I was touched by their attention and will happily use their services in the future. Highly recommended!
