I am very disappointed by this place. I made an appointment weeks in advance for two people. They sent a confirmation email confirming one manicure. When I called back to confirm for two people, they said I was “all set for two manicures”. I show up that weekend and they only had the appointment for one person. Not only did they turn us away but they were very rude in the process. I was very embarrassed in front of my guest visiting town.

Tried this place today because my go-to Nail Salon right next door was packed and there was a wait for like 45 min so I thought let’s try this place out.The place looked really nice, but their staff isn’t really welcoming. I definitely expect a friendly welcome, especially when I’m the only customer.The girl who did my nails didn’t seem really motivated doing my nails. I got a gel manicure and it looks horrible, first off all when she filed my nails she cut me right in my finger and didn’t even say sorry or looked at it - it still hurts (see in the picture). My nails look totally uneven and I don’t expect that this gel will hold really long. Also she was cleaning one of the nail instruments while she did my nails. Shouldn’t that already be clean and sterilized? I also want to mention that she was sipping on her ice coffee and didn’t even ask me if I would like some water. (Again I was the only person in the place)Last but not least the price I paid 47$ for a horrible gel manicure is ridiculously expensive!Just go to the nail salon next door way better and cheaper that place is always packed. Now I know why I was the only customer there. I’ll definitely not coming back I’m really mad that I paid that high price for such a bad service.

Wanna did a PHENOMENAL job! I was nervous about getting my nails done in the new COVID world, but they were absolutely great with check in questions, and sanitation throughout the entire process. Great jelly pedi as well as gel mani, will definitely come back 😊

One of the best nail places around! Spotless as well as gorgeous nail bar. As soon as one arrives, the staff makes sure to cater to all needs. Loved the peaceful and serene ambiance, as well as the treats offered to help hard working people like me relax! Also the 10 minute massages are a must, Fay has the best hands in town to get rid of all the tension from commuters like me. Highly recommended

Absolutely loved the salon. It was so cute and glamorously decorated! Makes you feel that you are truly being pampered. Friendly service, great atmosphere, my nail technician was amazing. Overall excellent service would def. recommend!

Love this nail salon! Ive been looking for my little home away from home & theyve nailed it! This salon is cozy, adorable, super clean and nicely decorated. I am very pleased with my gel manicure. Also the staff is very friendly there and especially the owner, thats key! I would highly recommend it!!

I had the pleasure of meeting the ladies of 718 Beauty Bar in person at a Bloomingdales shopping event. The line for their manicure table was super long and the ladies were very professional and smiling the whole time. They did printed manicures with a cool nail printing machine that matched the theme of the event. I was sooooo happy with how cute the print came out! These women are the BOMB!

My first mani/pedi since reopening salons! They took my temperature, sanitized my feet. Ensure there was sufficient social distancing. Efficient & great gel mani pedi! Have a great selection of gel options & the perfect match of non gel color 😍 Maria was great!

I have a 2 month old baby and I called the salon to see if they would accommodate my husband and I with a stroller. Faye was happy to accommodate. We came and got much needed mani/pedi and Faye was even kind enough to give me a complimentary (and amazing) back massage! As if that wasn’t enough, she also allowed me to breastfeed my child in the back comfortably and privately! We were so happy to be taken care of so well and Faye (among with the rest of the staff) is absolutely amazing! By the way, I am also obsessed with my nails and my husband loved his pedicure!

10/10 would recommend! I got the cbd pedi and gel mani, totally worth it! The ladies are professional, kind and treatments are amazing! I work with ceramics and my nails haven’t looked this good in awhile. Mary was fantastic, super attentive and just genuinely caring. I left feeling very refreshed

I could not wait to go here, especially with the new nail screen printing they do. The girl who did my nails was so nice and she did an amazing job with the shape. Unfortunately, after about a week 1 of my nails broke another one broke the following day and the screen print started to fall off after a week. Really nice staff but for the $80 I paid for a fill and the design, it really wasnt worth it for the amount of time my nails lasted. I made an appointment when I was there for my fill 2 weeks out which would be in 2 days, I wont go back. I had to have my fill done yesterday after only about 10 days of having them done. Awesome girl! Super sweet, just wasnt happy with how long they lasted.

This was my first time getting a mani and pedi from this salon. I must say I had a great experience, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The owner Michelle is such an amazing soul. I will for sur be going back here for all of my mani and pedis.

Will never go here again. I made an appointment and when I arrived the next day they looked at me like I was crazy. the staff proceeded to tell me they were running an hour behind and didnt bother to call or email me. they then blamed the fact that they had to take walk ins making it seem like it was my problem. there was no effort to apologize or right size the situation. as a new business in Hoboken who is trying to get new clients and a good reputation Id expect more.

I was gifted an experience at the 718 Beauty Bar and it was definitely an experience. I came in specifying that I wanted the marble nail technique and the technician stated that it was doable. I instead ended up with a nail marked on with a sharpie and then costed with silver foil because the nail tech spent her entire time with me simultaneously on the phone with her boyfriend informing him that my nails will be done in 10 minutes. I had high hopes. Needless to say I wont be back. Also the CBD pedicure is a regular pedicure wherr they give you cbd oil and use a cbd cream on your legs.

I got a powdered dip manicure and it came out discolored, the nails were unevenly shaped, and bumpy. The woman who started my nails continuously filed cut up my cuticles and was apparently unaware of it until I pulled my hand away and informed her that it hurt. In addition to the VERY poor quality of the service that is not by any means inexpensive, the environment was unprofessional and disorganized.The person who appeared to be the manager answered a face time call and was talking to her daughter about a failed spelling test and McDonalds WHILE serving another customer. When I was seated I asked for a cup of tea which was served in a plastic cup and was dissolving from the acetone on my nails. One woman started my nails and someone else finished them when they realized they sat another customer for a pedicure with no one ready to do it. The choice of music and television selection was crude and included cursing and material inappropriate for a boutique style salon. Finally, the services menu says that the salon offers a 20% student discount but when I went to pay, only 10% was deducted. The employee stated that the menu is incorrect and it should read 10%.Overall, this was a terrible experience considering I stopped in for the first time only to try it out depsite being a regular customer at a nearby salon. For a new business on Washington Street, this salon definitely did not appear concerned with attracting customers in a town with countless salons. Total disappointment.

The staff was incredibly sweet and i loved the setting. But i had asked around hoboken for a place that did the powder dip. I made an appt for powder ahead of time and when i went to sit down to get it, They couldnt do it cause they were missing a product. Fine. We went with reg polish (thinking ill got to a diff place for powder) she dried my hands with the towel id been leaning over. Aka putting my hands in the nail clippings and skin. She wasnt wearing gloves. And two of my nails smudged completely before i even left she had to do it again. Again super nice staff but i wont be going back.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING❤️ I ve being living in Hoboken for a while now and it was always hard to find good nail salon ih Hoboken. I found this place by just walking on Washington street. Loved the design very cute boutique nail studio. SUPER CLEAN 🙌 First thing they asked me if i want a glass of water or champagne. Loved it ;) Perfect spot to relax and have some bables.. pedicure was the best i ever had ... very professional, i also got a full set and my nails lasted a month before refill. This place is highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

On this raining day I stumbled on this beautiful and clean nail salon. The place next door I usually go to was packed so I decided to pop in and get a gel manicure. I was immediately greeted and felt welcomed. I was offered a beverage of my choice...water, tea or Champagne! “I opted for tea instead but it was served in a plastic cup.” I’m an extreme neat freak so I can confirm that this nail salon is immaculate! My nail technician “Zee” was nice, friendly and did a good job on my nails. I’m praying that it lasts 2 weeks!A few suggestions for this little gem is that each station should have 2 uv nail machines instead of one. It was a bit awkward trying to fit both of my little hands in the uv machine as Zee instructed me to do so I felt that the time under wasn’t enough to bake in the color....hence that’s why I am hoping the gel lasts. I didn’t like that if you pay for service with a credit card, another 3% fee gets added but...it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Lastly, a gel manicure for $37 is a bit much when everywhere else is either $30 or the max $35. So the fact that it’s $37 for a gel manicure + a 3% service added (if paying with credit card) is a bit much.Update: 1/14/19- I didn’t have the time to update sooner but....the gel top coat that was used somehow started chipping. Not the gel color itself but the gel clear top coat. Weird and disappointed! My nails started to look a mess after one week, one of them started to peal on the side. I have to stress the fact that I don’t hand wash dishes and I don’t use my hands where it would cause my nails to get ruined in one week. A bit dissapointed because I was excited to give this beauty bar a chance.
