Brought my classic ipod in to repair the port on it. The fixed in 40 minutes. Does a good job

IPulse repaired my iPad same-day despite some difficulty getting the replacement screen. I am very happy with the quality of the repair and the thoughtfulness of the team.

I had a mini meltdown because a fix made to my laptop at another tech store only held up a few months and was in need of urgent repair. My laptops power port had come loose and kept receding into its case, which left me unable to charge it or even run it plugged in.Technician took care of it same day (soldiering a loose wire and securing with a strong glue) and really helped me out of a pinch! He made clear everything he would be doing before starting the work and price was totally reasonable for the time and attention paid.

Updated review -Phone drops from 15% to 0% in a matter of seconds. So while it does last slightly longer between 100% to 15% (emphasis on SLIGHTLY) - it then free falls to 0!!One star deducted.Original reviewReplaced my battery in a 2.5 year old Samsung Galaxy S9+Deducted one star for the wait time required for them to get the battery, having to protectively contact them to learn they have it and for having to replace the battery twice (after the first replacement didnt hold the charge for more than 8 hours)The good? Buyer beware! So just returned my second defective iPhone screen to the owner. It cost $280, he refused to take the return. I had already had a new screen replaced by apple. He said he was giving me an oled screen. apple said the screen was a “cheap LCD knockoff”. When I asked why he wouldn’t take the return he went into the back office and the police arrived 5 minutes later! They laughed with me and both agreed they would never use the store either. Hoboken beware! I should have read other reviews, also having the cops called when you are trying to make a return is amazing customer service!

Repaired 2 of my ipod Classics in 30 minutes! One only played music out of one side & the other had to get a new battery installed but they serviced it and fixed it fast and works as good as ever!!! Very nice people and service and I have more items I need fixed and will definitely return!!! 👍😀

The worker was incompetent and unfriendly. After replacing the the screen of an iphone 11 the iphone began to have issues and system notifications telling me the screen was not genuine apple product. The product was taken back to be fixed but the same problem was reoccurring and days later the screen came off. After being annoyed by the mans unprofessional work and ability to repair electronic devices I went to the apple store. The apple store and apple technician denied repairing the iphone as the adhesive placed under the front screen was done completely improper. Ultimately I would not recommend services from this company to anyone as it is a complete waste of money, time, and hassle.

I brought in a phone just to get the charger port fixed. Phone was perfectly fine. Now the bottom half of the screen barely works And you have to flip the phone horizontally to send a message. They definitely was planning for us to go back so they can charge me more money to get it fixed.

I agree with the previous review...I brought in my iPhone screen for a repair 3 weeks ago and it’s still very glitchy (after spending $120). Would not recommend.

These guys are hands-down the BEST around. Super professional, honest, quick turnaround, very fair prices. I should have read the review and people were absolutely right about this man. I came in for a quote to solder and charging port that came off. He originally stated it was going to be 40$ because he doesn’t know if the port will hang on for long so he told me what the outcome would be. I went back again to tell him I was going to continue with the 40$ and he said no it’s 65$. There’s no way anyone can confuse 40$ with 65$ and he kept denying he gave me that price so after he said you know what I’m not an “EXPERT” on this take it some where else. Aside from him being rude don’t tell me you aren’t no expert on stuff like this when you have people who bring in their MacBooks iPhones Apple Watch etc. Unless your risking everyone’s property saying you can repair and can possibly damage it. STAY AWAY

Extremely reliable fast friendly service! He fixed my Mac within 2 hours. I called everywhere around my area and the turnaround would take days to a week. He was completely honest and made no promises to me but he worked his magic and was able to fix and get it done fast! I wouldn’t take my laptop to get fixed anywhere but here!

I was in and out just in 6 minutes. Upon walking down I realized the swipe is not working on my iPhone 6, they replaced an additional screen at no charge. Later point realized that Touch ID not working, without any questions a new screen was replaced. I was out again in 6 odd minutes. Awesome service and cheap cost. I can’t imagine taking a Genius Bar appointment after a week to get this sorted. It was real quick, the technician was awesome on his job!!! Highly recommend the store.

Dropped off my IPad mini and wanted to know if it was fixable as it had water damage. Told the gentleman working there that it was my daughters and to do his best to fix it. He said he would take a look and come back in 20 mins. When I came back he said some damage but he should be able to fix it. Then I gave him another iPad mini that was broken and said it he needed parts from one to put into the other maybe it would save me some money. He said ok but seemed confident that he could fix it. We agreed on $80 for the repair. He worked at it for just over 2 days but wasn’t able to fix it unfortunately,, and I could see he was disappointed in not succeeding. I asked if now I had to tell my daughter she has to pay $80 and the iPad is still not working he said “no charge”. Much to my delight, and my daughters.I saw some negative reviews on line and wanted to post my experience. This is maybe the third time I had things dropped off to be fixed and never had a problem.Thank you Daniel.

Read the 1-star reviews to get the real picture!My daughter brought a MacBook Air for a screen repair due to water damage. The laptop worked fine when she brought it in, but the screen was damaged. I called the owner when my daughter was there – an Asian guy who barely speaks English - and he told me that he will not charge anything if he can’t fix it. He estimated the cost at $400.A few days later my wife picked up the laptop and paid $429. When I got home I found out that the keyboard doesn’t work at all and the screen is exactly the same!I went back to the place the next day and the guy told me that the laptop was dead on arrival and he had to change the charging port. He showed me a cable that he replaced. He said that the screen repair is an extra charge, which would bring the total price to a price of a new laptop!!! I showed him a picture that my daughter had sent me the previous day showing that the laptop worked fine, only with a screen problem, but he insisted that it was dead when she brought it in. My daughter worked on the laptop for a few days after the water spill and experienced no problems except for the damaged screen.I asked to get my money back, because not only he didn’t fix the screen problem, he gave it back with a broken keyboard! The guy started screaming at me to get out of his shop and threatened to call the police.The next day I went back and asked him just to fix the keyboard, which he admitted he broke. He eventually agreed and I picked up the laptop the next day. When I picked it up, the laptop was turned on and he showed me that the keyboard was working (the damaged screen looked EXACTLY the same). When I got home a few minutes later, the laptop was completely dead! It wouldn’t turn on at all! I immediately called them back (it was around 7pm) but they didn’t pick up the phone and there was no voicemail. I called back the next morning and the guy told me that it worked when I picked it up so I must have broken it on the way home. He then gave the phone to his assistant who told me that his boss doesn’t want me to come back to the shop, otherwise he’ll call the police.Bottom line - I paid $429 to turn a fully working laptop with a damaged screen to a dead laptop with a damaged screen.STAY AWAY!

Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE! Had my screen replaced as I woke up one morning and it was completely black. Upon picking up the phone I noticed the screen wasn’t as HD looking as before and had a pink tint to it. But the guy was rushing me to pay since it was late. Next day Face ID doesn’t work and now the camera and flashlight icons do not work while phone is locked. Took it back he said that it wasn’t his fault since the screen responds everywhere else. Fast forward a few months later screen becomes completely unresponsive. Took it to a real apple shop since the phone was out of warranty and the guy tells me right away that when he opened up the phone, there was no adhesive for the screen and there were parts just popping out as a result of the third party screen replacement and they never used a real apple screen, some other cheap screen replacement. SAVE yourself the headache and NEVER TRUST this place!

I’ve had them replace my iPhone screen, sadly, 4 or more times and they’ve been great. Fast service and reasonable price.Dropped my phone over the weekend and audio failed to work. I thought I was done and started looking up iPhone prices - yikes when did these things start to cost 800+!! Anyway the gentleman at iPulse tightened the audio receiver and am good as new.

Best service I have ever received 😩🙏So I cracked my iPhone 6+ plus screen and so I went in and they said $70+ tax & its 15 minutes. I was recommended to this place from a few friends & being the price was reasonable (not too cheap but not too expensive) I agreed. So with tax it was $75 and it literally did take 15 minutes, CRAZY FAST!! I did notice a small white spot and I showed him and he said to come back tomorrow and he will fix it no charge! Ok great, I come back the next day and he takes it in, it took 3 tries but eventually he noticed a sticker with a metal piece on it which was weird but he took it out and it was fixed. They have so much patience and great service. I will definitely be recommending this place. I also love the decor inside. Amazing amazing, thank you so much again and being so patient 🙏😌

I am so happy! Theres no worse feeling than spilling water on your keyboard and then realizing the computer doesnt turn on. Apple wanted $1,200 to repair it, and I hadnt backed up my files at all recently. For only $299 I got my computer back in perfect condition just 12 hours after I dropped it off. I definitely recommend iPulse before you give up hope!

Really good and quick service!I dropped my iPhone SE this morning and shattered the screen. My heart sank, knowing it will be a big expense! I looked up online, and Apple seemed to charge 130 dollars for changing it (considering my Apple service cover had expired a while back). I looked up for alternatives, and this place seemed to have decent reviews and was a short walk away from home. I went there, and as reviews had suggested, my work was done in 10mins (even though I was told it might take 15-20) and only charged 64 dollars (incl. tax)! The phone screen is now as good as new! Highly recommend the place!(And I’ve not received any gift cards to give this review, neither was I offered any!)

I was here for an emergency repair and they saved the day! My phone has been acting weird for a while and suddenly died. We took it here and they fixed it on the spot (super fast!) and the price was very fair. Definitely a lot cheaper than other places that have serviced my phone. After procrastinating all year, I came here to replace the cracked screen of my iPhone. I wish I had come sooner! They were very courteous and fast and recommended two replacement options. There was no fuss about it and they were able to do it on the same day.Ive gotten so used to the cracked screen that after they fixed it, it looks like a brand new phone - no need to upgrade now! Dropped my iPhone 6S in the toilet, pulled it right out and it worked perfectly for about 12 hours and then died! I thought it was a goner, but iPulse was able to salvage it for me. They cant guarantee it will work long-term since water damage can creep up, but at the very least I now have everything backed up and always backing up automatically.Anyway, these guys are the BEST, they saved the day!!! I had a stripped screw on my nintendo switch that no other store in Hoboken would touch - here they had a very fine drill bit they used to break the screw to get it out. Definitely this place has the best tools in town for delicate work

Bottom line: my experience was that this is a professionally run business. My shattered iPod was repaired in under an hour for a reasonable price. I waited a month to post a review to see how the device would perform after repair and, though the app interface is a little glitchy, the iPod works and I can listen to music.A couple months ago, I dropped my iPod facedown on the sidewalk and shattered the glass. I thought it was a lost cause when I saw slivers of glass falling out. Still, looking to save money, I researched repairing it. The iPulse reviews on Google swing from 5 stars to 1 star, so I had doubts. One unhappy reviewer alleges that positive reviews are bought with store gift cards. I did not receive a gift card. What I did receive was prompt service and a functioning device. The glass was replaced and a dent in the frame hammered out. The repairman warned me that the replacement glass was not as strong as the manufacturers and recommended that I buy a cover (which I did later), but there was no hard sell to buy it there.If I need another device repaired, I will look to this place first.

On my lunch break today I headed over to iPulse to see if they could replace my cracked iPhone SE screen. I walked in and 20 minutes later I walked out with a fresh screen on my phone for around $65. I would highly recommend iPulse to anyone with a phone in need of repair.

Owned by an Asian, so a plus in my book... ; ) They fix what you need [in my case, a broken Galaxy S4 and a cracked iPad2 screen] and I would definitely go back to them for my tech needs. This man is a Ninja of Circuitry...I had a cracked front screen, back screen, digitizer, all from running with the bulls.. but I digress. Apple said that I had to buy a new phone and since I have been dropped from AppleCare and AT&T insurances, Ipulse was my last option. I usually go through my phone company to have any issues with my phone repaired. Unfortunately, while rushing to work I dropped my phone and my screen was completed damaged.I didnt want to wait for days for a replacement. This time I decided to try Ipulse after researching a bit. I was very satisfied with their customer service and their work. They were able to fix my phone within 10 mins and even provided a free screen protector. They also had best price around 👍🏽

Ipulse in Hoboken is great for a quick repair. I cracked my iPhone 6 and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. It’s so much faster and cheaper than dealing with the Apple store. I definitely recommend everyone in the area to check them out!

Just called to ask what methods they use to replace the front glass of S8 and the guy just hung up on me. I do not care how cheap they are but I sure hope you guys read the contract carefully and make sure these guys are not stealing your data.

I have an iphonex which stopped responding to touch input. the phone is out of warranty, so I figured Id try to support a local business and went there to have it fixed. I dropped it off and in about 15 minutes he brought it out with a screen that was responding, so I figured all was well. I read online that apple is aware of what is referred to as touch death - and is covering it under a warranty extension program. two days later the issue happened again, so I returned with it. ok, so I mention this to him and he admits he knew of this, but he was happy to take my 200 dollars anyway. not exactly honest, but hes trying to make a living I figure. he once again replaces the screen, once again it fails. now I ask him about it, and he tells me hes using refurbished screens.. and that the dot that was left under the glass would fade eventually and if not return it. screen starts dieing again. however before I could return it, it fell and cracked, so I have to chalk this up as a loss, because hes not going to replace it because its cracked (and I have no way to prove the failure occurred before, I understand that)so I bring it with me to my brothers house and ordered a new screen, and my brother replaced it (he does that sort of thing) - after opening it up, my brother mentions uh.. you know youre missing stuff in here... turns out theres a small grounding pin/tab which just wasnt put back??? apple doesnt put extra parts in there!! just because its small, does not mean its insignificant. in addition to the touch problems I experienced, faceid also barely worked. I had to tilt the phone at a weird angle to try to make it recognise me and if did once out of every 3-4 tries. after my brother replaced the screen with a NEW screen and did it CORRECTLY it works perfectly, touch works perfectly, and faceid recognizes me instantly.sorry, but I really cant recommend this place.

They have no honorId previously posted about how I brought my phone in for a crack in the screen and non-funtioning headphone jack. weeks later they gave it back and had Forgotten to fix the headphone jack, the screen they put on didnt fit on the and there was a blinking green line in the middle. The owner told me that was the best they could do but it would be fine and I could bring it back if not. Thats when I posted my negative review.The screen died in less than a month.I brought it back and the owner denied that he had given it to me in that condition. I showed him the contemporaneous review Id written to prove when Id been there and show him the reponse he wrote asking me to come in so he could provide more enhanced skill. He started yelling at me and threatened to call the police if I didnt leave. He said I hurt him with my review and that I didnt know how to conduct business. He gave ME a broken product but he says I dont know how to do business?!? Me?!?I cant see how this guy could possibly stay in business with this business ethic.I may look into seeking recourse with the Better Business Bureau and the New Jersey Consumer-Protection Agency

This place is incredible, I did a screen swap at another place and they ended up pulling out the battery piece. They couldnt fix it and no other location wanted to take on another stores problem. not only did this place take it in, they fixed it in minutes. It is a little bit pricey but I didnt mind as long as it was fixed. The only thing is I wish they fixed screens

Experience over there was great! The people that work there are very friendly, and I felt so welcomed. I bought in my Iphone which was cracked, (which was fixed by 10 minutes), and a water damaged cracked IPod. They explained what was needed in order for my devices to be fixed, and the prices were reasonable. They will ensure that your devices are fixed and that the customers are satisfied. I will recommend anyone to come here if you want your broken devices to look new again.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!Decided to bring in phone to fix the small crack in the glass and broken headphone jack. When IPulse gave it back theyd forgotten to fix the headphone jack and the screen died completely in less than a week. Brought it back and now the new screen sits a quarter inch separated from the phone, has a weird flickering green line in the center and theres glue everywhere. And the owner basically just shrugs and says thats the way it is.TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!!!

I came in with a recently broken IPhone 7, which I thought might be broken beyond repair especially since it had some yellow spots shown on the screen but the service was quick (took less than the 15mins estimated) and I was out the door with a new perfectly functioning and seemingly brand new screen. IPulse was extremely kind and helpful!I brought my Mac book pro in after it died by water and they ran a diagnosis test and even helped me cleaned my Mac book pro in the process.Just picked up my Mac book pro the other day and I couldnt be more thrilled with the price and results.Long story short I had my laptop in my bag and my water bottle leaked causing water damage to the backlight.Apple wanted to charge $1000 to completely rebuild the computer with at 90 day warranty which I was told was policy on how they handle computers with water damage.Basically they told me at that price I might as well just buy a refurbished latop of my model.I found iPulse and decided to give them a go based off of the reviews I saw. They diagnosed my laptop within a day free of charge and let me know what needed to be done.Essentially the chip that controlled by backlight needed replaced which require replacing the logic board.Needless to say I was much more impressed than what Apple quoted me. Computer is back to normal and for fraction of the cost!Come to ipulse.
