Crooks. They made deals with a lot of places here in Hilton head. Mine is specifically Hilton head resort. They tell you 500gb but it’s more like 10 and even that is shoddy. I can’t change providers unless I physically move. I’ve had techs out twice and they just shrug and say the signal is fine. The signal is clearly not fine. Awful awful company. I wish I had the money to just sue the pants out of them.

I have now been without Internet for 24+ hours and it’s the weekend and apparently they don’t have service providers that can help on the weekend and then I try to cancel my service and customer service isn’t available to help with that on the weekend as well so now I’m going into Sunday without any Internet and have work that needs to be done with the use of Internet. Also, not to mention none of my security cameras will work for two days now, at least because of no Internet. This is beyond frustrating. I got the runaround for 4+ hours with three different representatives just to find out that nothing can be done.

Worst internet and wifi EVER! Stay far from it! It goes in and out all day, EVERY DAY. When its working, its great, pages load fast at all. But for them to say fast and reliable, thats a flat lie. The only reason I believe theyre in business is because they partner with apartments, probably giving the landlords a cut of the subscriptions. We love where we live, but being FORCED to use this service has been a TERRIBLE experience.

Not very happy with this service. They came in a bought out our reputable provider of many years with all these promises and I must say have not lived up to the hype. My service drops my work station every day. I am reading the reviews and its a lot of the same. My job depends on my internet and I am going to have seek other service.

Outage for 6 hours now and still not able to get the issue resolved. If you call the second time to check on the status, they will block your number. Ridiculous called from different number and they said it may take 8 more hours to fix the issue.

The CSR at this location was superior. I arrived at the location very frustrated with Hargray in general and their customer service in general. The CSR senced my frustration, LISTENED to me and fixed the problem. He saved our account for Hargray.

We moved here from Florida. We had Xfinity at our old house, it was a great service. It is not available here so we went with the only option, hargray. It costs me$70 a month more, and this service is the worst I have ever had. Constantly freezing and dropping signals. I have been waiting 3 months for them to come and bury my cable. It has to go under a concrete drive or I would have done it myself. The tech department is always able to get it going again, its just a pain in the butt to call them every day. I wouldnt wish this company on my worst enemy.

Chris G. came out and not only fixed our cable problem, but showed us that we had our boxes set on 720p instead of using our HD TVs to their full capability at 1080. He was very nice and helpful.

Bill went up 54 $ with no call. Called and they said they could now give me a $40 promotion. Why do they make you call????? Why do they increase bill with no notice or explanation? Dont they get that now they are making me look for another provider? People running this company must be brain dead. No way to treat good paying customers!

The worst customer service have 5 different technicians( wish I could qualify this) who came to house regarding lack of service...NO DVR.. changed out equipment...leaving saying that something at corporate IT has to fix.yet each completes ticket that it works...and all is good...VERY FRUSTRATING as my time has to be wasted watching them work....would NOT refer this company to anyone even my worst enemy!!! WONT LET YOU POST unless you select a STAR! Can not even give them a ZERO!Update:Hargray made good...sent out a technologist that was able to troubleshoot the issue...changing out the equipment the 3 prior visits...was not the answer communications with the Company was the answer..Chris G....thank you ! His actions make me change the rating to 5+....

Internet goes down multiple times a day, was let go from previous position at job due to missing multiple online conferences and deadlines due to Hargray being down. Cannot switch because, like many other neighborhoods, I have been forced into a hargray contract that I did not sign. Unethical business with hilariously bad service, I would not be surprised if they go down with more frequency than any other provider in the entire country, let alone in town. Absolute joke. I am now trapped with virtually no internet connection until I move to a new neighborhood, which I am considering doing exclusively to get out of being under Hargray. It would be more beneficial for me, both mentally and financially. to move out of my residence entirely, than to continue struggling with Hargray.

October 1st Hargray removed some tv channels that lots of people look at . So it seems like a particular network was removed not sure why ?? But the bill has not been decreased after removing the channels !!! As a customer I feel like we have no rights is this situation how sad can this be looking for new way to get tv instead of having Hargray

Can I give .5 star or 0? I would. Easily.Expensive as heck ...rude in the reception office, they dont know what they do and say and when you ask specific questions they still try to trick you...they are Unbelievable.We need more companies here in Hilton head...they let people have monopoly and they charge whatever their little brain says.

Useless, stupid cable company. I made an appointment to have cable connected to the television in my bedroom. A technician came out today and told me Ill need to hire an electrician to hook up a cable jack in my bedroom before they can connect cable to it. So what was the point of the technician coming over in the first place? To plug in a cord?!?! Im pretty sure I could have done that myself had the cable jack already been there. Ive had experience with other cable companies in the past that will hook up the cable jack for you in your home wherever you want it. Hargray, plain and simple...you suck!

Awful rude service!!! They said they cant run a cable from one room to another, but theyre a cable company. This is bull!!! The only people using this company are those that have to!I called back, and spoke with a nice person. She said they could activate a new box next Thursday and run the cable from an adjacent bedroom. The first person that I spoke to needs to get out of customer service because she was rude.

Worst internet and cable services I have ever had to experience in my life. There’s always intermittency and the internet is slow. Unfortunately my current apartment only allows this brand of service for tv and internet otherwise I would have left long ago. I can’t wait until I move to another community so I can at least have internet service I can count on. Just awful.

They installed on April 9. It pixelated all the time. Sometimes doesnt work at all. Call support people and thy try but nothing works with that either . April 30 only have one channel that works now

The worst internet, cable, and phone provider I have ever experienced. The cable is always in and out and the worst quality I have ever watched. The internet is constantly experiencing problems. The price is higher than most national providers but they have basically a monopoly in the area. The customer service is disgusting as they are always experiencing high call volumes. The answering service serves no purpose as they tell you to call every 5 - 10 minutes until you reach someone. As a business professional who works from home most days this is a turnoff to the area. Extremely dissatisfied.

I wish I could give negative review. This place is such a joke. Over 150.00 for just basic cable and low speed internet. Just the internet would be over 100.00. The customer Services is a complete joke. Do not chat with them, you will get the same rude girl every time.

Hargray is the worst cable provider in my area. Their DVR has half the capacity of Directv and was not even compatible with my Sony projector. Add to this terrible customer service and the highest prices in my area and you wonder why anyone would use their services. I also have phone service and it cuts out on a daily basis.

You have a prison and then they raise you from 30 to 40 dollars of a single that is a robbery and it is difficult to communicate with hellos if you have a problem with the internet
