I experienced a broken tooth the night before I contacted North Hills Dental. It had been awhile since I last had service, but even though the previous Doctor retired they were more than happy to help me! A pleasant, clean office and my care was given number one priority…. They verified my insurance was still valid and provided all the coverage information. They were like family that cared! I’m looking forward to my next visit! Thank you!

After trying out several dental offices over the last decade, we found Dr. Coussens but after a short time of being his patients, he retired and sold to Dr. Rowley. Very pleased we dont have to keep shopping. Grateful to say were in good hands.

I had my teeth cleaned by Haley and she was delightful! She was gentle on my teeth, non-judgemental about my bad flossing habits, and very encouraging about how I can improve. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I had a crown and did not feel a thing!! It was a good experience the new technology was awesome. It is very convenient that you don’t have to go back for a permanent crown.

Doctor Rowley is friendly, thorough, and really knows his stuff! The technology that he uses to stick the tiny camera inside the mouth and take pictures is really cool. I could see my teeth on the screen as he moved the camera around. I know I’m in good hands there. Highly recommend!

Ive been going to Dr. Coussens since I was a little girl. Hes always been the best at giving the least painful injections, great dental work, and always informs me of any potential spots of concerns. I just had a cleaning done by Brandi and she is a gem! She made sure to be delicate around my recessed areas and my teeth feel great. My husband also had an appointment with her and she was so sensitive to his dental anxiety. He said that despite the office not have nitrous gas, Brandi helped ease any discomfort and made sure to ask if he was okay. Phenomenal practice!

Dr. Coussens has been my dentist for many years and always provides the very best in dental service with patience and cheerfulness. His staff members are also caring and skillful when performing their tasks and makes you comfortable in a sometimes stressful situation.

Ive been seeing Dr. Coussens since I was about 5 or 6, And now I have had my husband go there, And my 2 oldest daughters. My youngest will also go there when shes a little bigger. I recommend him to everyone who ever asks for a dentist. I have never gone anywhere else and wont until he retires. {hopefully never! ;)} Love his staff too! :)

I avoid the dentist like the plague and have very sensitive teeth. It had been at least 2 years, likely 3, since my last dental appointment/cleaning. The professionalism, kindness and care made my appointment completely painless!

GREAT dentist staff, TERRIBLE front desk / billing staff. To be clear, Dr Coussens and his dentist staff are fantastic, but Ive never been to a dentist where most of the pain happens after the visit! The front desk lady in charge of managing billing messes something up EVERY time, and it always takes so much wasted time to confirm addresses, confirm names, etc. weeks after the visit. There have been times where my wifes bill or record have been sent to the wrong address (HIPPA violation!!), or messed up insurance submissions - the list goes on, and it happens literally every time. This happens to our other friends and family who visit Cousenns too, its terrible and its too bad because other than that Coussens is a great dentist to go to.

Typically, I am a person who HATEs going to the dentist. However, this visit made me feel so comfortable and everyone working there was so, so nice. I dont plan on changing dentists at ALL, even though I live across town in SW Portland. By far, one of the best dentists to go to.

I had a portion of a tooth break off while eating breakfast. Called Dr. Coussens office to see when I could schedule an appointment. I was told they would be on vacation next week, and today was booked solid. That was fine with me because it wasnt causing any pain. They were extremely accommodating and didnt want me to wait so they had me come right over and were able to fit me in and get it repaired in no time. The service was exemplary and as always Dr. Coussens and staff were so nice, friendly and of course professional.

Dr. Coussens came highly recommended when I moved to the area. He has a very professional staff and sanitary office. Teeth cleanings are thorough. I dont believe Dr Coussens is looking for any reason to drill and or do major work. I really feel he has the patients best interest when he is deciding on the care to give. I am very confident in his work and his staff.

Star was very pleased with the Dr. diagnosis and correction her her tooth problem.One small complaint, Ron was 15 minutes early and appointment for cleaning was 15 minutes late, a slight irritant. Cindy did a very professional task of cleaning.7/15/2020 Cindy did her usual fine job of cleaning even with a couple more months delay due to the Convid 19 Virus. This visit marks 42+ years with this practice. Thanks for keeping my same teeth healthy for all these years!

Dr. Coussens and his staff are indeed very good, I have been coming here for years. The only improvement I might suggest is that they would just schedule my appointments only on rainy days.

My time today at Dr. Coussens office went without a hitch. I got right in and seated in the chair for my 7 AM appt. Dr. Coussens listened carefully to my concerns, did a thorough, and determined that I needed a referral to address the situation. So now I need to get an appointment with the endodontist.

I have to tell you the office was amazing. I have HIGH anxiety when it comes to anything about the dentist and the hygienist was very sweet. She told me everything that she was doing and why and what to expect.The Dentist looked at my teeth after and told me how great everything looked and about one concern over a filling I have that should have been a root canal...but it may or may not be a concern...basically only time will tell. It was SOOO nice to not feel like all they wanted to do was take my money and find a million things wrong. SOOOo glad that someone in mommy group recommended this dentist a couple weeks ago!!! I cant tell you how much I appreciate it!!!I was so overwhelmed after that I got in my car, called my hubby and just started bawling. LOL It really was the best dental experience I have ever had and I expected there to be a lot of things wrong since it had been 5 1/2 years since my last cleaning.Love these guys and I cant recommend them enough!!!
