Our tech Anthony was on time after the automated on our way text. He was both nice and professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the problem. He did his work, didnt make a mess, cleaned up after himself. When the faucet decided to be troublesome again, he quickly came out again and lubricated the new cartridge and voila, it seems all better. No blame, no drama, just fixed it and was nice about it. I also want to mention how quickly the dispatch team set my first appointment when they heard I had running water that couldnt be turned off and even the second appointment too. Even though my location is at the outskirts of their service area, they came relatively quickly, next day. The other plumbers wanted to come in 2 weeks and let my water keep running for 2 weeks, no thank you. Good job, Instant. I would recommend Instant, I was very happy with their service.

Do not use this company. They have horrible customer service and don’t know what they’re doing. First they were about 3 hours late after already waiting the few hour timeframe they originally gave us. We had an occasional leak in the seal of our toilet and this big guy is pushing his weight into the toilet trying to make it leak to see the leak. Totally unprofessional. This was supposed to go through our home owners insurance and after he checked it out he said they would replace the toilet and it would all be covered and once he left I don’t hear back whatsoever. I call my homeowners insurance 2 weeks later to find out he changed his story and said it was sealed as a cover up from the prior owners to pass inspection, meaning it would not be covered by our insurance after all. Never did he say something like that to us. Two voicemails to them later and I have never received a response. I would never recommend this company. Save yourself the money and the headache and get a legitimate company to help you out.

I need to point out that our plumbing project is not easy--a major piping line was required from our home to the street. Well, first I will say I wasnt happy about spending $700 to u clog a kitchen sink, cameras or not since my husband had already unclogged the bathroom toilets and tub and shower. On the upside, I was impressed with the work of Jacob and Isaac. They were professional, polite and dedicated to getting the job done. IN BLAIRING HEAT! They are an asset to any company. Hope I dont have to, but Would definitely use again

I spoke with Amber on the phone. She was very helpful in getting the plumber out to my home quickly. My plumper, Adam, was very professional and respectful in my home. He accomplished the job quickly and walked me through everything he was doing. The first thing on peoples mind is Is it expensive? The answer is that its not cheap. But if you need a plumber then it is probably urgent enough to where you need a professional because the average handyman, like myself, was unable to do the job. He spent all his effort to contact my home warranty company; made several trips back and forth to get the correct toilet and did a wonderful job installing. I hired Instant Plumbing Repair 1 year ago to fix a leak on a 2nd floor bath drain that was leaking into the downstairs unit. 1 year later the leak returned and i called them to come and check it, They finally agreed and they set an appointment several days later after not coming at the agreed upon time and trying to cancel at the last minute, They finally appeared but did not do anything and has gone silent since then. I have left voice mails sent several emails and tried to contact dispatch but they continuously hang up on me. I have finally hired someone else to fi=x the issue and it appears to be the same issue they were suppose to fix 1 year earlier, I will be filing a lawsuit to recover the money I spent to fix their mistakes., Regarding Response, I have the original receipt from when they did the project. If you want to make this right let me know but from the phone conversation I just had with you it appears you do not, Thank you

Washer was backing up & spilling water all over from washers discharge hole in wall & coming up Kitchen sinks.Joseph, son Jo-Jo & Robert cleared the line, dug a hole in ground & under sidewalk so laundry room can have its own line & not share line with kitchen. They did a great job in a timely manner!

I have had a horrible experience with Instant Plumbing Repair. I’ve been strung along for about a month, with appointments scheduled 7 different times only to have no one show up. The only time I’ve received updates is when I’ve called them to find out where the technician was. On multiple occasions, the customer service rep had no idea where the tech was, and expressed frustration that he was missing in action. They’ve informed me that my home warranty company ordered the wrong water heater over and over for 3 weeks, and they finally showed up yesterday with the original water heater that I was told was the wrong model. They installed the water heater, and the technicians expressed their frustration and confusion because they had never dealt with a Direct Vent Water heater before... Once installed, they couldn’t get the pilot light to stay lit, so I still do not have an operational water heater. The technician told me he would be back first thing in the morning to troubleshoot the issue and get it working, but I have heard nothing from him or Instant Plumbing Repair as of 10:45.The technicians that came yesterday were very helpful and they tried their best, but were clearly over their heads. Why would a plumbing company send technicians that are unfamiliar with the type of appliance that needs installation?!I would not recommend hiring them, and if your home warranty company assigns them to your claim, do everything within your power to get another company.I’ve held off from writing this review for nearly a month now, but it has become more and more clear that I cannot leave a positive review.*Update with response to owner*:I would be more than happy to speak with you directly regarding this. It seems that there is severe misunderstanding of the facts.1. You said that is a waste of time and money to continue going back over and over with no positive result, but there has not been any “going back” at all. I’ve only ever had Joseph(the initial tech that did the diagnosis on 12/28) and Anthony(the tech that did the unsuccessful install yesterday) actually show up. I’ve had Brendan, Ralph, and Zachary all scheduled to come out multiple times, but they never actually came.2. Both Joseph and Anthony have told me that the initial unit that was order by my home warranty company was the correct unit(a 50 gallon, not 75 gallon as you keep saying, Bradford White Direct Vent) all along, and it had been sitting in an open box outside of Ferguson in Van Nuys ever since the beginning of January, and this is the same unit Anthony picked up yesterday and installed. I took a picture of the box with the model number (which matches exactly with the unit my home warranty placed the order for on 1/5).3. I already said I DID appreciate the effort of the 2 techs that have actually shown up, and I understand that sometimes a device is defective. My main frustration is with the internal communication in your operation, as well as poor communication with me, the paying customer. It is ironic that the most thorough and timely response has come only AFTER I posted this review publicly. Had there been honest communication and expectation setting from the outset, I would never have written the original review.Again, I’d be happy to speak with you directly about this, and would be inclined to update the review once all is resolved.

We needed an new hot water heater. Instant Plumbing was my company of choice based on previous experiences. Donna in the front office is great and very service oriented; Mercedes schedules and gave us best priority. Phillip Rey did the install— knowledgeable, professional, expert.... it was a tough job and Phillip was just great! We highly recommend Instant Plumbing Repair!

Nice customer service. They did offer a free estimate. However I found someone a bit cheaper. The guy came out nice guy Joshua. Looked over my stuff. The price was crazy.....So I went with another company. They did call me 24 hours later to tell me they do price match If I knew this before I went with the other service, I might of went with these guys.

I had placed an emergency request for a water leak in one of my pipes outside the house. There were elderly people in the house with no water due to it being turned due to heavy leak. I called twice in a 5 hour period before someone decided to arrange to go out.They charged me $75 and below is what happened.Day 1: Contractor shows up late at the property. Too dark to look at issue. Says, will show up first thing next morning.Day 2: Contractor failed to meet commitment of showing up in the morning. When I called, they said they are super busy and will come next day.Day 3: A completely new person comes to see what the problem is and quotes $850 to fix it. It was a simple PVC piece that needed to be cut at the crack and then replaced. I had uprooted the tree and removed the roots that supposedly caused the crack. They said they will have people at the site within the hour to fix it. No news for 2 hours. When I called, they said they were very busy today and will come the next day.I got very frustrated and asked them to not come. I had to find another plumber and get it fixed. Since the residents are elderly I could not even have them move to a hotel for the 3 days. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided. I would not recommend Instant Plumbing repairs to anyone.

Whole experience with this company was lacking. Communication was sparse. The worker was slugging around like he did not want to be here. When the work was done. It looked good, but he did leave me his empty water bottles and a bit of debree.

This company does not deserve a 1 star, if I could give 0 stars I would. They were supposed to come on Monday, January 25th to repair the leak on my tankless water heater. They claim that the technician got into a car accident and that was the reason why they could not come to the house and service my water heater and they rescheduled our appointment for the following day without being notified about it. We called First American home warranty and told them what happened and they ended up calling the plumbing company and come to find out the real reason they couldn’t come on Monday was because they had too many emergencies that they were dealing with and they weren’t gonna be able to come to our house. So finally the technician comes the following day, all he did was take pictures and told my husband that he wasn’t going to be able to fix the leak. This technician ended up calling first American home warranty and told them that it’s an instant denial they said because the water pressure was too high. This technician was very rude to my husband and just did not want to do the job. First American called us because the technician’s reasons did not jive with what we reported and it was a good thing they called because the technician lied about the problem. Do not use this company! They were rude on the phone and they were rude in person! Meanwhile it is now 5 days and I don’t have hot water.

They were dispatched by first American Home Warranty. Person making appointment whet on and on about I don’t kow what, repair guy showed up, looks at leak and says I never saw anything like that. I told him It was a pressure regulator...he said no, I don’t think so. He took pictures and called someone and then after prodding him he said, the pressure regulator is leaking...duh...he told me he would submit to insurance and they would call me. Well today I get call from instant plumbing to set appointment to determine the problem. I tried to tell them they did that last week. Lady tells me, you will need to pay $75. I told her NO, I did that already, then she tells me out of pocket I can pay them $950. To repair the leak. I hung up and called First American and they said they dispatched company to perform repair and told me to call back and tell them. WhenI did I got a lady named Edith that wanted to argue. never will I allow this company in my home again....I wrote letter to First American to remove this company from Vendor list. Talk about Rude!

Phillip was professional (wore a mask the whole time) and arrived within the designated time frame. He was pleasant and quite friendly. The plumber from Instant Plumbing came to the property and said to change the fittings underneath the sink is an AC problem and not a plumbing problem. I had two AC contractors coming to the property and both stated it is a plumbing problem. The Plumber Carlos said I shouldreport it as an Insurance claim and should use their Restauration Company to make money out of it. However he would fix it on the side for $290.-. It is a scam !!!!!!After I complained this situation with his manager, the company refused talking to me.

Would NOT hire them again. Worst experience. Had a leak from the main line of the street to the house. The company didn’t offer any other option but to repipe the whole house. The entire house did not need to be repipe. From the start, IPR was not honest and did not communicate. This company does not work with urgency. I was told the process would take 2-3 days. They didn’t finish until a week later. I was told to pay the second day of work and I did yet work was not completed. Shower pressure is now lower than before work was done.

Im really ambivalent about posting this, but its the fairest review I can write.The technician who first came to fix a plumbing leak and install a regulator and water switch 3 months ago installed it in the wrong place. Other mistakes were made.I didnt find out about all these issues until about 3 weeks ago when I tried the water switch and it didnt work. They sent another tech out to fix it. Another leak occurred and they said theyd come back the next day to finish up.About 20+ phone calls, missed/kept appointments and bad communication later, they finally understood the issue and agreed to fix the problem without additional cost. The completion of the work to acceptable standards is the only reason they regained 2 stars.CONS: I cant recommend this company until they A) hire qualified technicians, and B) improve their employee-employee and employee-customer communication.PROS: I appreciate that this company took ownership of their employees mistake and moved to fix it. Huge thank you to Trisha who was professional and helpful in taking my last call and making things happen, and Steven Gonzalez who was efficient and finally fixed the plumbing.

***ZERO STARS!!!***Per their description, they go “above and beyond...” but only to Ignore their obligations to the customer. By far the worst service experience I’ve ever received from any company. I have 17 emails of rescheduled jobs going back to 12/27. I’ve had the displeasure of allowing 3 separate plumbers into my house during a pandemic and all 3 gave me the “I have to see what we need to do and go get the parts”. They left and did not return. The first guy did a half installation of a faucet and quit the same day and took the remaining parts with him. I spoke with two managers and they made guarantees they did not intend to keep. In a conversation with the operations manager (Bobby) I asked him 3 times the day of the last appointment if his guy was going to show and he said he didn’t like to repeat himself but he’s ok with allowing his guys to repeat their pattern of ignoring their obligations. Do yourself a favor and stay away. They will frustrate you and waste your time. I have the emails and the camera as evidence showing their guys arriving late and not returning. I’ll be filing complaints with the appropriate agencies and will leave this same review on any other website that allows to warn others to look elsewhere.Update to owner:They did not. After so many reschedules and me taking time off work to accommodate I told them if they did not show up on time I would contact my warranty company to approve a different contractor. I Alamo just received a mocking call from the Colton office clapping exclaiming that the job was done. I told them it was not and that I did not want to continue business with this company and the office person said and I quite “ok then we’re going to Bill you for all the parts” and hung up. As unprofessional as it can get. If you are the owner call me and I can provide evidence of all of this and explain. You can take action as you see fit.

Instant Plumbing is responsive and professional. They show up when they say they will and complete the work efficiently. They explained what was happening each step of the way. The workers are friendly and engaging while staying on task. The office employees have been polite and informative. Hope I never need them again, but if I do I will definitely call them.

Completely untrustworthy - they will change scheduled appointments, even for major problems. They will lie and miss notes on file and claim technicians are unavailable for pre-existing appointments. Not at all instant in any sense.

This company was scheduled to come to my home on Tuesday however technician was not able to make it Tuesday so he assured me he’d be there first thing Wednesday morning, I receive no phone call from technician after being 30 minutes late I text him and he said he had a flat tire and would come to my house as soon as he repaired his flat tire. 1 PM I text technician and he said he was on my way to my house an hour later still no technician I called the office and they said he was at my front door however he went to somebody else’s appointment the office and a manager would come to my house that day at 3:30 manager called me and said he could not make it at 3:30 and apologize for the inconvenience but he said there was a coronavirus outbreak in the office and they were short staffed. The next day a technician finally did arrive at my home (wearing no mask) which I feel is very irresponsible especially when the office has had a Covid outbreak! The technician said he was going to go to his vehicle to get a part and he would be right back however he left my home had no idea where he went or when he was going to be coming back I called the supervisor to complain he said he would call me right back never received a call back. needless to say I am very frustrated with this company and was not happy with the service they provide it to me

They service was terrible management didnt care about my problem Bobby and Trish.I had no gas for 3 1/2 days they didnt care or calling me back to reschedule another appointment. They sent me a guy without the right equipment, plus I got a bill for $395. After what I went through with them.

They arrived on Tuesday to repair a hot water heater. They diagnose the hot water heater is needing to be replaced. But as of seven days are still do not have any bids from them to replace a water heater. While they were here on Tuesday they flush the toilet and it flooded the entire bathroom and sewage backed up into my bathtub. They would not repair that, they came out again on Thursday and said they were not there to repair but only to observe. A supervisor came out on Friday but he didn’t do anything either except look and now it’s Monday and a repairman is supposed to come again to sneak out the line. The service is terrible. They keep telling me that going to spin a quote to replace a water heater but that’s total fault and I’m not done anything in the week. Update 11/18 Still no information or call from Bobby, who told me on the 12th that he was going to recomend abetter tankles water heater. I have asked to speak with the owner Patricia for two weeks and she will never come to the phone or call back either.

The contractor did his job and also did something extra. We appreciate his help.

This Company really took care of their customers needs in a professional manner. My clogged sink was done by other company (Plymwyr) last July using a hydrojetting which only last for three months and been clogged again. The lousy job plymwyr did cost my sink to clogged again. My insurance company refer Instant Plumbing Repairs Inc and they call me right away for an appointment. Their technician (Jacob) came and performed the hydrojetting using their own heavy duty hydrojetting machine to our sink main pipe and removed more junk inside the pipe. He performed the job professionally until the pipe is clean, and checked to make sure that continuous running water coming from our sink faucet doesn’t clogged anymore. He also informed me that they will also do a camera check inspection to the pipe making sure no obstruction in the pipe. This company (Instant Plumbing) really care about their customers and they already made the camera inspection within three days. Compared to the other plumbing company, Instant Plumbing Repairs doesn’t ask for initial payment up front prior performing the hydrojetting. This company is really good and care about their customers. I recommend this company to anyone, guarantee you won’t regret.
