After lengthy negotiations over a townhouse, my wife and I became tired of being treated like dirt by realtor Evan Kane. He was very condescending through out negotiations and was not helpful at all. Evan listed this townhouse as having a working gas fireplace. My wife, my realtor and my home inspector all tried finding the switch for said fireplace, only to realize that we would have to rip up the living room carpet just to turn it on. Not only that, seller did not know whether fireplace even worked. How do you advertize something as working when you dont know if is? After we cancelled, Evan could not be bothered to Fed Ex our earnest money check back to us (even though we did for him). I had to drive 33 miles one way just to pick up my earnest deposit check. Maybe if Evan actually treated people nicer and was not such a completely rude and arrogant self-centered imbecile, we would have had a better experience.
