Carefree Comfort did an excellent job installing our new furnace, new a/c unit, and installing customized new duct work. They were on time, worked very effectively and efficiently, were very polite, and answered all our questions. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was installed, tested and properly working. I would highly recommend them to any customer with HVAC needs.

Used Carefree Comfort for the first time the week of Jan 20, 2021 on a referral from a neighbor who said they did good work for them. Our 16 year old water heater split and was leaking. I called a number of plumbers for assistance, but being a Sunday I had to leave a message. Carefree Comfort was the only company to reply. I received a quote over the phone which, based on my research, was a very reasonable price for a new 55 gallon gas water heater with installation. I set up a time for them to come out and they arrived within 5 minutes of the set arrival time. The lead worker, Sergio, was very professional and polite as was his assistant and they knew how to do their job. They wore COV-ID masks and were very careful about not making floors dirty in the house or hitting walls as they carried the water heater in. In a few hours the job was completed in a very professional manner. The quoted price was what I paid. I would use them again without question. Neighbors saw their truck and asked me about their service and I told them that i would highly recommend them to anyone.

I started to use Carefree in autumn of 2020 since the previous company I worked with had started to suggest cost improvements during every service visit.Now, this service call was identifying issues with my furnace - and since it was still under warranty they helped me find a deal to replace it with the newest model. (but again, they did not want to talk me into additional air filters etc like the others tried).I liked Carefrees professionalism during the service, then when consulting what the best way would be and also the installation of the new furnace went flawlessly!Unlike other companies, during the maintenance they did not do that sales pitch (of whatever options you could install, replace etc) but really focused on the task to service the furnace and A/C.The installation of the new furnace went well, the team was on time and did a good job.I would recommend them and will continue to use them!

I thought services were very professional and quick. The technician that came out was very knowledgeable and courteous. The reason that we give 4 stars is that we had put in a service request ticket on their website on Saturday detailing the problem that our a/c unit was not cooling the house down as effectively as it used to. On Monday my husband called first thing in the morning to just see where the status of our ticket was at. The gentleman that answered the phone was polite, and was able to pull up the information/our ticket quickly. He told us that he was aware of it and would come out on late Tuesday or on Wednesday. It just so happens that I am heavily pregnant, it is the hottest days of the week during the time the a/c decides to break, and we have 2 bulldogs that are panting like crazy no matter how many fans we put directly on them during this time. When we didnt hear anything Tuesday, I had my husband call in on Wednesday around 9 am, and the lady that answered did not have the ticket showing (I guess it disappeared), and my husband had to go through the whole discussion again of what was happening. Where this gets better though, is that around 2:30 later that day, we got a call saying that the technicians schedule just cleared up and if he could come by right then, they could. We agreed and they came by and he was in and out fast, and our a/c was fixed! So bottom line, services were great, but the administrative/communication side (we had to contact them 3 times) was a little frustrating and required a lot of follow-up on our end. We had actually given up at first and called someone else to come out, but we got the call that the technician suddenly had a free spot, so we went for it!

My air conditioner recently broke down on a Monday, Carefree Comfort was at my house the next day to assess the 20 year old unit and explained the pros and cons of fixing the old unit versus buying a new one. They had already sourced the needed part for the old unit but I opted to have them install a new AC, which they did that very Friday. What a quick turnaround with great service and fair pricing!

I needed to purchase a new furnace and AC system and called multiple companies in the area. Carefree was the only one that truly listened to what I was looking for, not just what they wanted to sell me. The installation was done on time and professionally including clean-up of the area. I then unfortunately had an issue that was clearly a manufacturing issue and Carefree was prompt in solving the issue and getting me back up and running in the shortest time possible. 10 years ago I needed to replace my furnace and Carefree Comfort Heating and Cooling was one of three bids that I got at the time. They had the best price so I had them install the furnace. Since that time Ive had them come out in the fall the tune up the furnace and in the spring the tune up the air conditioning. Carefree Comfort, as always, upon hearing of my emergency plumbing issue, arranged for a plumber to arrive within a couple of hours. The dispatcher advised me within minutes of my phone call of the 2 hour window appointment and kept in touch advising of specific arrival. Tommy, plumber, clearly explained the cause and how to avoid future problems. Called the shop at 7:30 am on seeing water leaking from furnace(?). Scheduled me for a tech between 10-12. At 10, called from the shop that theyre on the way. Arrived at 10:15. By 11 they had fixed a condensation leak and were on their way out. Very nice, very knowledgeable, very efficient and cleanly. Top notch job, top notch service.

We have used them for furnace repair, installation and general service for over 15 years.After our last service call, a drain got clogged which caused water to overflow a drain and cause some damage to a wall. Carefree has done work for us twice since we bought our house two years ago. On both occasions they provided timely service of our HVAC ductwork/ventilation. They were professional.
