Enrolling our daughter in Sylvan Learning was one of the best decisions we made over 2 years ago. They didn’t only help get her back to grade level but also improved her self confidence and sparked a love for reading! The staff are amazing and tailor their help to your child’s specific needs & attention span. They communicate well with the parents & reward the students for improvements and hardwork. My seven year old looks forward to go to tutoring- hours are very flexible and they are willing to work with anyone’s schedule.

Sylvan Learning Center is Amazing! The director (Ms. Angel) worked with me and my ex-wife to make us feel very comfortable when we enrolled our son. The program has helped him with his reading comprehension and fluency tremendously. His love of learning and confidence have grown exponentially.

The tutors here are a great help for me with my school work in this tough time of Covid-19.

I did SAT perp here and started with a score of 1320 on their diagnostic but by the end I did so much better and got a 1430 on my actual SAT. The teachers are nice and extremely helpful.

This center is helpful and wants to support student success and is helpful with virtual learning and building mastery skills for student growth.

When I was younger I attended Sylvan for extra help In school. As a child it was always a positive learning experience. My daughter is now enrolled in Sylvan for extra help with Math, since she has started she has built lots of confidence and has definitely showed progress in her math skills. I was enrolled in Sylvan when I was young & now my nephew is getting enrolled. Im excited, hes excited. We just cant wait to see the progress hell make. He just needs to keep in mind that youll only get so far especially if you dont put in any of the work!

My son was struggling with reading and comprehension and began to fall behind. We called Sylvan in November and my son tested at a 2nd grade level and he is in the 3rd grade. Today, Feb 26, my son is reading at a 4th grade level. His grade at school has gone from a “D” to a “B”.I have been very happy with the collaboration with the Director. I have shared some small concerns and she addressed them immediately. She does a great job of communicating quickly. I appreciate the communication and partnership with my sons teacher as well.If homework has become a nightmare and you are struggling to help you child improve I would recommend sylvan in high point N.C. I have been taking my child to Sylvan for a couple of months and I have noticed significant growth in her learning. We came to Sylvan because she was struggling with remembering her sight words and applying skills to help her read. The instructors here are really nice. They are willing to help you and make sure you are helped. They are definitely better than a teacher who is tutoring after school and just wants to go home and barley help the student. Our son has been attending sessions at Sylvan for almost 4 months now for assistance in reading. He loves it and it has really built up his confidence. He comes out happy after each session. He has improved with his reading and we can really see a difference. We would recommend Sylvan to anyone struggling in school. The communication is really good with the admin with monthly meetings on your childs progress.

My son has attended the High Point, NC center since the beginning of 2016. We have noticed such an improvement in his attitude towards school and homework. My daughter completed a very successful SAT Prep course at this center. The staff explained the process to us and fielded all of our questions prior to the start of the program. My daughter loved the instructors and appreciated their flexible schedule through out the process. The outcome was outstanding (a 150 point improvement); I would highly recommend this to any motivated student.

Sylvan has been great for my son Luke. He has enjoyed his classes. The staff is very generous and he has improved so much at his school. His confidence is as high as it has ever been thanks to the staff and work put in at Sylvan.

My son loves coming to Sylvan. He had made quite a bit of progress since beginning here. It has also done quite a bit to build up his confidence. I love the one on one attention he gets and the program is set specifically for him.

This Sylvan learning center has gave my daughter confidence in herself. She is eager to learn. Her first process report showed improvement, her regular teachers also tell me how she shows improvement in reading at school. The staff is very supportive and also want to see her get to her normals school level.

We have been pleased with our daughters progress. we can see signs of improvement in her reading and understanding of new words. she wanted to go back after the first visit and has still wanted to go back after 17 weeks of tutoring (2 days, an hour each). Sylvan of High Point is an exciting place to go. The teachers are amazing. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure students needs are being met. Parents are kept abreast of student progress. Students are also creating friendships and gaining self confidence.

Sylvan not only helped our daughter get caught up to grade level in reading, but she is now reading a full grade level ahead. She has made incredible progress and improved all of her grades. Overall very nice; my daughter has done several sessions with them and it helped her. My kids also do testing here every year, and that has gone alright for the most part.

My daughter has been coming here for a few months now. She loves coming to her sessions and is excited to share what she has learned with me. She loves the token system and the themed days that they offer. Everyone who I have had the pleasure to speak with, has been very nice and welcoming. Tiffany and Sara have been awesome to work with! Some may feel that the amount is too expensive, but they do offer payment options. I as well was unsure, but once I went and met with Tiffany, I knew that this was the best option for my child and I.

My daughter had taken the SAT twice with very similar results. After about 10 sessions and utilizing the tools that Sylvan provided, her SAT scores increased by 200 points. There were increases in all 3 areas. The staff and tutors at Sylvan were exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. We could not be more pleased with their service. Thank you Tiffany and Sylvan!

The director keeps me informed of my daughters progress by having monthly meetings so I know exactly what the tutors are working on with her and what goals she has met. My daughter says the sessions are fun. Thats not something I ever expected to hear her say about tutoring.

Our son completed a full year at Sylvan with assistance in reading and EOG prep. With consistently attending 2-3 times per week, we are pleased to say that he has now had A’s on his past two report cards in reading and passed the reading portion of his EOG. Sylvan gave him the confidence and knowledge that he needed to be his best self, and as parents that is all you could ever ask for!

My 10 year old started going to Sylvan Learning Center a month ago it’s been fantastic! His attitude along with his grade level progress did an entire 360! He started out not motivated but within the 2nd - 3rd week his attitude changed. Now he can’t wait to be dropped off and hates for me to pick him up!! He enjoys his time there that much! My daughter has been going to Sylvan for quite awhile now. I started to get discourage in her reading because I felt like I wasnt seeing progress after she has been there for so long. She tutors twice a week for 2 hours an shes progressing slowly. Ive have seen growth but shes still needs alot more work. Hopefully she can be on her grade level before she graduates Elementary school. Im just waiting for the moment when they say shes finally on or past grade level cause Im putting all my money into her learning n Im not impressed yet...Just my opinion.

I was disappointed at the start of my sons writing program. After every weeks session I asked him what did you do today and he answer was nothing .He was done with half of the program and I wanted to stop the program, I felt that its not beneficial for him.Thank God Miss Ravin joined the learning center and I spoke about my conserns and she addressed them properly. Now when my son come back after his session at learning I ask him what did you do today. He tells me what work he did, his answer is not, nothing any more .His writing, sentence structure improved and he is working on his thinking skills as well to work on comprehensive writings .
