Do not rent a truck from this location! We reserved a truck several weeks in advance and they called us the day before pick up to inform us no truck was available. No reason, no sorry, just no truck. We had to scramble to find something for our move the next day. Go to U-Haul. They were fantastic. They gave us a better deal than Budget in the end. Dont bother trying to call management for a resolution either. They never called back. Just all around a very bad experience from Budget.
Ive rented many cars and moving trucks in my life. My recent rental at this location has been my best experience. The owner was very personable and not pushy with all the extras that you can get through a rental company. The online reservation was easy, and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I typically have a bad taste in my mouth when I leave places like this. But in this case I was happy with my experience.
Hendersonville,Tn.Budget did a great deal and bonuses on line.service in person really awesome. However it is.Dont try calling them .Phone never rings there or nobody answered .So rerouted back to main 800 office.No Help at all.
Do NOT rent from this location. We rented a truck on Saturday. We are now broken down in KS halfway through our trip. The moment we picked our truck up, it was dirty, the alignment is off and the woman eating pineapple at the desk behind the counter could care less about helping us. The didnt pull the truck up, put the dolly on or help in any way. We have moved cross country several times and have never had an issue before. I will NEVER rent with Budget again. The problem started at this location where they obviously have not been doing maintenance on their trucks. When I called to extend the date when it should be returned (mind you) we have been broken down for 2 days, her solution? (Actual woman on location in Hendersonville aka pineapple eater) she cant do it. If you are moving further away than up the street...do yourself a favor...rent elsewhere!! Rude, lazy people and dirty trucks. I wish I could give negative stars. Also, this has turned me off of pineapple. Which I used to love.
Pathetic excuse for a Customer Service Office. Both of the two employees sitting behind the counter never left their chairs to offer to help us find a truck, and we were the only two customers in the office!We had reserved a 12 truck online. When we arrived we were told that the online service doesnt know what trucks they have. They just sign you up and get your credit card. Then they said they had a 16 truck out back. So we asked to look at it. They said we could look out back and see if we could find it. We wondered around in 12-15 trucks, none labeled with footage, while they never left their chairs in the air conditioned office. Sad, pathetic, could not care less customer service.
We reserved a 26 truck on March 16th to be picked up at 9:00 am on March 30th. We arrive at the Hendersonville, Tn location to pick up the truck and was informed that they didnt have a 26 truck onsite. I asked why not, we have a reservation. The guy behind the counter, I believe his name was Octavious, said that he didnt know why. He then called a few other Budget Rental places and none of them had a 26 truck. At no point did he apologize but actually wanted to know why we were upset. My wife called U-haul and they had a 26 truck available so we asked him to cancel the reservation. He said it will be $150 cancellation fee to do that. We told him he will not charge us $150 to cancel the reservation that his company breached a contract/agreement. He said yes that is the charge if we cancel. I then asked why did my reservation email say it was a $50 cancellation fee if canceled less than 48 hours before pick up time he said it didnt matter. I then called the national customer service line and explained the situation and they canceled it without any fees and were very apologetic. The Hendersonville location specifically really needs to learn customer service and need to learn how to notify people ahead of time that they cannot fulfill a customers request especially when the request was made 2 weeks in advance.
Don’t not use this company we had rented a truck from them the truck we got was leaking in the cab and in the back on our boxes they refused to do anything about it saying we should have called road side assistance and once we brought the truck back they charged us a refueling fee even though we brought back with a full tank do not waste your time with this company
Air conditioner was not working. Heat on feet constantly. Other than that, good deal.
Your employee in Hendersonville TN on Main st Charged me 288.00 after i clearly stated not to charge the card that i brought in but the one that they have on file. The Sales agent was sloppy and distracted. Asked too many non pertinent questions. I came in to pick up a reservation after having been driving all night. I asked for a big box truck. He told me, were all sold out but clearly i could see 12 of them In the back lot. Then i stated i was told by my employer to come here so unless there is some mistake then i think you do have a box truck. He looked up my last name and then said sorry i see your reservation now and went on to explain we dont just rent box trucks to anyone who walks in off the street. I was seriously offended but tired and not wanting to fight. He then asked for my form of payment. I asked him to check his records again because it was ALREADY on file! He stated i still need a credit card Incase something happens i replied my employer gave you guys credit card when he reserved the vehicle. But still he argued with me that he needed my card so i gave him my cash app card. He assured me it would not be charged unless something went wrong. He then unbelievable decided to walk away from me to help another customer who was female before he had given me the keys! I then watched as he oogled and charmed her with his utmost customary service and glanced at her back side and chest as she was loading her vehicle. He spent about 20 minutes for a job that takes 5 because he was feeling himself. Then he came back I and goes oh your still Here? I go yes you never Gave me the keys....He scrambles behind the desk to find them and Doesnt apologize but says rather have a good tripI couldnt be more clear in saying he is not a good employee. Now he has me and my cash app card 300 some dollars in debt because he didnt follow simple instruction. He was careless and apperantly preoccupied. He lied to me when he says that budget trucks wont rent to you if you walk in off the street. He profile me. Now i want an answer. Will i get my money back or is this how budget does business?
