I absolutely love our Legion Family, they have classes for all age levels. My daughter started when she was just 3yrs old and now shes 5. My oldest son has been doing jiujitsu for 3+ years now. My husband and I train as well so its definitely been a bonding moment for us as a family knowing that we can learn something new together, and its a huge bonus knowing we will be able to protect ourselves or eachother if and when it came down to it.

My son and I have been a student at this school for a couple months now, and I couldnt be happier. Coach Logan is a special instructor; I havent seen someone work with kids so well. The instruction for adults is thorough, meticulously detailed, and his awareness of his students view of each technique is remarkable. He makes it easy to understand the mechanics of each move and WHY it works.

My 10 year old son goes here and I wish he could go twice as much. The establishment is well kept, but the magic is in the coaching. Coach Logan is extremely skillful, but his tact and finesse in teaching young kids this art offers more value than you can pay for.

After relocating from Seattle last May, the first thing on our list was to find a new gym. Legion was the first and only gym we checked out because we loved it so much Great instructors with a variety of class options and times. We recently added a women’s class on Saturday’s that has been growing quickly. The facility is always kept super clean and it’s been such a welcoming environment!

This facility is excellent. I am new to the world of JJ, and the instructors do an excellent job at teaching the important aspects for building skills as a beginner. This place is friendly, professional, and clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone beginning or looking to advance their skills.

We love Legion! Both of our kids started about 6 months ago and just recently my husband and myself have started. The coaches are wonderful, the members that attend are so kind and helpful and the entire atmosphere is very positive and inviting. If you are looking for a good workout while learning self defense this is the gym you need to check out!

Legion BJJ is an incredible place to learn. I am still new to the sport, but Legion runs their gym in a way that always leaves me excited to come back. The instructors have created a welcoming, supportive culture that has extended to all the students as well. Everyone is invested in each others development and success, and it shows on and off the mats. On top of having a solid team atmosphere, the quality of the training itself is awesome. The instructors are clear, patient, and always willing to help. I would absolutely recommend this gym to anybody even remotely interested in training!

I am relatively new to the sport and after trying other gyms in the area chose Legion. I believe it is the highest quality instruction with various locations so I can attend classes at any of them. The facilities are clean and new. I knew within 10 minutes of meeting with a coach that this was where I wanted to learn. The staff show they are interested in your development in the sport. The best part is the camaraderie. You meet so many new people and everyone is so supportive. You leave every class with increased confidence.

My teenage son has trained jiujitsu with Legion for 5 years. I’m thankful we have a great martial arts school in our community. The training has helped improve my son’s confidence. Legion has taught our kids not only great jiu jitsu skills - but also about listening, team work and respect. I have been training at Legion Jiu Jitsu for a while now. The instruction is excellent and the team atmosphere is as well. Legion Jiu Jisu is a fantastic gym. All of the coaches are very helpful/knowledgeable and really want to see their students grow and develop within the sport of jiu jitsu. They have several locations with different training times and classes at each one. If your schedule doesnt line up well you have plenty of options for training, as 1 membership gives you access to all 3 locations. Getting into jiu jitsu is one of the best self investments I have made and I am very happy that I found the Legion Jiu Jitsu community!

I have my 3 year old in the Tiny Legionnaires class and my 5 year old in the Little Legionnaires class. They’re super gentle with the kids and do an amazing job at handling meltdowns and keeping their attention throughout the entire class.Definitely recommended!

I joined 1 1/2 years ago. Have had an amazing experience with the group of coaches and students. You will work as hard as you ever had, and learn to legitimately fight. It’s hard to find a group of students and teachers to become long term friends as well as training partners. You will find it here.

I visited 3 gyms when I moved out here, and Legion Jiu Jitsu was hands down the best one. I felt welcome in the gym, and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of ladies there. They have a good mix of classes, and maintain a good competitive atmosphere.

The environment and coaching staff are top notch. Even as a visitor I was offered coaching about proper technique and included in the activities. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to assist with any and all issues presented. I will continue to train here as I am able to do so.

What an amazing place to come and get a fantastic workout, and learn an amazing martial art. My son and I feel like Legion Is our 2nd home! We have met so many phenomenal people and made many new friends. Professor António and Professor Gabriel are incredible instructors. They have morning and evening classes as well as classes for kids from 3+years to teen classes! Intro classes for new members and anti bullying for kids as well. If you haven’t been to Legion Jiu Jitsu you are missing out!

One of the best places to learn and train Jiujitsu, as well as befriend some great human beings. All of the coaches genuinely care for you both on and off the mat, and have a wealth of knowledge in Jiujitsu, mma, and wrestling, as well as nutrition and overall health. Being a part of Legion Jiujitsu is more then learning a martial art, it is becoming part of a positive group of people who push you to become a better human!

Legion Jiu jitsu in Hendersonville is amazing! My husband and I and both our sons take lessons there. Professor Antonio is enthusiastic about teaching and it’s hard to leave without having a huge smile on your face. We’ve come to regard every member as family. We highly recommend Legion jiu jitsu!
