My 7 year old son and my 17 year old son takes jujitsu and Karate here..... the instructors are Awesome and work really great teaching my boys how to defend themselves properly! I highly recommend this dojo!!

The Fighter Within has given so much to me. Leanne teaches more than just moves, she gives you confidence and shows you that you have more potential within yourself. She brings out the beast in you! She is encouraging to all she comes in contact with. She has given me more than she knows. When you sign up with her you become part of the family. I did kickboxing for 3 years with Sensei Leanne Hensley and only left b/c of job relocation. This Sensei is MMA intelligent and emotionally intelligent. She will help and watch you grow as much or as little as you need, and does not put up with shenanigans which makes for a safe, solid learning environment for men and women, young and old, shy and confident, novice and advanced alike. Fighter Within is an awesome place! My boys loved attending summer camp with Leanne! I attended a self defense class and it was an amazing experience for me. As a domestic violence survivor there was a lot of healing done when I learned to defend myself. Leanne is awesome!

We as a family have gained, strength, knowledge, skills, self discipline, and friendships. Being apart of Fighter Within for almost 3 years has been the best this for my children and myself. Leanne will teach your the skills to defend yourself, but its up to you to practice and give it everything you got each time you show up. We arent just lifting weights in the mirror, we are learning valuable life saving skills, in a fun and encouraging environment.

I have two children who take marital arts here. I am so impressed with not only their professionalism, but also their positive encouraging positive atmospher . The self confidence that the students, both children and adults alike have is awesom . I am so happy that my children are involved with such a great establishment, we feel like all belong and have met some extended family member.

Love this place it is like a family and a great place for family to train together. The owner works with you so that you are able to work to your comfort level and still achieve your goal.
