Needing to get something mailed out today. I have been at the Hendersonville post office in line for over 30 minutes. Two have left in front of me and 6 behind me. I am next in line. Only one person at the counter and they are doing a passport for someone. Not good customer service. Ended up waiting for 45 minutes for the second employee to finish cleaning up the front room to start taking care of customers.

One star is being nice. Been trying to cancel my PO Box and no one will answer the phone. When I opened the box the lady told me I could go on line ti cancel it but when I tried it stated that being I opened it at a certain location I would have to contact them or go back directly to them. I know live almost 2 hrs away and dont feel like I should have to drive all that way when this could have been taken care of over the phone if only someone would answer it. I am not paying for this. I have stopped payment on this myself and it cost me a stop payment fee.

The people here are ALWAYS rude. No matter when you go in. I went in to get stamps and mail all my sons graduation announcements. Gave them to the person myself. Today, day of graduation, finding out many people never received them. I have a lot of hurt feelings and spent a lot of money on these announcements and mailing them. No help on their end. This is beyond frustrating. If it was their kid I’m sure they would want answers too. No wonder the post office is going bankrupt. Terrible service and high prices.

Giving this place any stars is inaccurate as they are rufe many other reviewd state. Not only are they rude but they do not even answer your questions honestly as to what is cheapest way mail my item.I bought priority was told it would get there the next day on Saturday instead it arrived Monday and cost $8 for a simple regular sized letter, absolutely absurd!

I personally walk in this office and drop my package off. A week later unable to track, my package was lost and the staff did not care a bit regarding the situation. I asked for cameras access and they claim there is no cameras in the building. No one cares if your items are missing. I lost my item, I lost money and is sad to see how unethical this place is, they do not care about public trust. Never again will I return to this location, they are careless and the staff uneducated.

I have been here for 25 years, the day before yesterday I opened my door to find a big bundle of mail with rubber bands around it, turns out it was dropped at my door and has 8 different peoples names and apt. Numbers, and mail, I called Hendersonville post office for 2 days already, took me all day to get anyone to answer and lady yesterday and a man today said they would send someone right or to pick it up, still outside in my breezeway, Im afraid to touch its the US mail, so I guess well see tomorrow

The USPS is pathetic! I moved 1.5 years ago and updated my address with the Post Office. I had ordered a computer desk via Amazon that was allegedly shipped by the wonderful USPS. Some how once the packgage arrived at the Hville location they defaulted it to my old address. I was told by the Gallatin PO that I needed to update my address again? Since when do you have to randomnly update your address after you have done so once?? Also, the package which is 40x30 is not to be found at my former complex!

The staff and postal delivery are the worst. Weve had packages dropped on the ground in front of our empty mailbox. I think the atmosphere of the USPS is oppressive and demeaning.

Terrible!! I watched driver pull up to mailbox .. put mail in mailbox and drive away. Shipment activity for expected box later said..Delivery Attempted- No access to delivery location....My front door is 20 feet from mail box....no cars....no dogs....only grass...hmmm...what could have happened! one star for putting mail in mailbox. Soooo months later still having problems! Shipment activity says mailbox is full.. delivery attempted.. box is over 3 feet long… Got a refund from amazon.. tried it again from a different vendor… should’ve know better!! Driver to lazy to walk 20 feet.. choose to lie again by saying mailbox is full..How can humans expect so little of their selves

Truthfully one of the best post offices I’ve ever used. The service has only gotten better since I moved here. Even during the pandemic, service has improved. They should charge more.

They are very rude and miserable and it shows through their work performance. I had a check mailed to me certified to my P.O. Box at this location. When tracking, it didn’t move from the same spot for over 3 days, just sitting there. I go to the post office to see if it could have been lost in the mail, I was asked, “wasn’t you here yesterday? You have thetracking number, so track it yourself, it is what is says on there.” When I say she was so loud and unprofessional, it was so embarrassing.

Since they dont scan packages your priority express packages will get mixed in with everything else and sent to the annex to wait. They also have disgruntled employees that put tape on your tracking number and rip it off causing it to be unscanable. Terrible location.

I don’t ever come to this post office location and I won’t be back. I was mailing 2 separate packages and was asked to confirm the address on the first one. I told the woman that something was missing and she got all worked up and said it didn’t matter cuz it was written on the box. Then WHY ask me to confirm something and then get heated when I tell you something is wrong. Especially if it doesn’t seem to matter? I don’t appreciate being talked down to. I’ve worked customer service and this is NOT what you do.

I live on Saundersville and I have an Etsy shop to make extra money. The postal worker will not always scan the tracking page and leave it. Today they were wadded up like trash in the mail box. Kind of gives going postal a whole new meaning!

I went to the Post Office to speak to a Supervisor in reference to an issue I had with Chris the Letter Carrier who used profanity when speaking to me and refusal of delivery this morning. I spoke to Dave Stanley who was rude and disrespectful and threatened to call the police because I was asking questions upon my arrival. He refused to show me in writing the delivery policy and why my status was changed and couldnt tell me why. He stated it was my fault. The issue is when I arrived home my package was not at my door or at my mailbox. Chris could not answer why he didnt attempt door delivery either when someone was at my home to accept the package. Chris at some point changed the status of my mailbox at my apartment complex to vacate. I have been a tenant here at apartments for 3+ years. The leasing agent came out to confirm I was still an active tenant and he still refused. I showed my ID that confirmed my name so I could get my package and he refused. I followed him to the next mailbox and ask if my lease would be acceptable, Chris stated he would call the police and refused to answer my question. He also stated that I cant have mail going to two locations which is not true. I have a PO BOX at the Imperial Blvd location as well but chose home delivery for this package. What I experienced today was unacceptable behavior from your agents. I would greatly appreciate feedback and for both to be reprimanded. Now my package is showing updated as of 2:17pm return to sender when the Supervisor refused to have him redeliver the same day and told me they would try again the next day. I had nothing on my door showing the delivery attempt.

On Friday, March 6, 2020 I mailed a check to my son in Murfreesboro, TN and learned today that he NEVER received it. Id dropped it in the outside box at the Hendersonville, TN post office. That day there was a note on the box saying there may have been theft from this box, but I dropped my mail in the box anyway. Today I tried to fill out an online mail search request, but it has not been seven days yet, so I couldnt! My son has checked on it several times, but with no success. Ive tried to call the local post office several times today, and theres always a busy signal. AND, this isnt the first time Ive had this same problem. As per my experiences in the past, there is NO customer service here, and the people are very rude and non-caring.

I right in there with the people that say the post office looses things, they certainly did mine and when you confront them, first things they say, get with Amazon, they insure you. This was AFTER the postman that delivered the package acknowledged delivering the package, he remembered, but he did not remember what apartment he delivered it to!!! Yet, the Post Office says, charge it to Amazon, they will cover you.Additionally, they are SLOW AS SNAILS, I dont think I have EVER gone to the Hendersonville Post Office and not encountered long lines, and they NEVER have enough employees taking care of customers. Its like that in most Post Office branches and Hendersonville is par for the course.

Due to my mix up, I waited until after I moved, to place a Change of Address and back dated it and they retrieved the mail from the box and sent it on to me. I was hoping but not expecting them to do it with the mail already delivered, but they did, I appreciated this so much. Plus, I will add that other than being busy this location has always been helpful and kind to me.

I had 2 packages ordered from France. Both were broken, one I could glue the second one couldnt be repaired so the company sent a replacement. Supposedly a delivery was attempted on 08/02 with the replacement. I went to pick up the package today 08/08 they stated it was held until 8/03 and then shipped back. I tried to call with a complaint and got an automated message which was very frustrating to say the least. Very disappointing in the USPS. Bad Service would not recommend. Unable to speak to a live person.

If only I could give ZERO stars...they lost a 2 day priority package that I placed inside their lobby drop off wall bin on 7/10/18. The package was never scanned and just disappeared from the INSIDE of their office area. It is 9/1/18, and Im now in the process of my 2nd USPS appeal and they will NOT HONOR THE INSURANCE included with the purchase of the shipping label...even though I sent them a copy of the actual label. MAKE SURE THEY SCAN YOUR LABEL WHEN SHIPPING...do NOT just place it in what is supposed to be the safe and secure drop off wall receptacle that leads directly inside of their office. Ive called this office twice for assistance and in both instances the person I spoke with was of no help and offered no solution other than to file a claim online. POOR SERVICE. Go down the street to the satellite office on W. Main.

Thanks to the Hendersonville TN Post Office my grandchildren DID NOT receive their EASTER SURPRISE due to a security concern. Really? I received the package back April 11. It was mailed on April 6. Evidently you were not too concerned because you held on to it for 6 DAYS. Normally I would be spending Easter with my grandchildren, but because of this Shelter-in-place situation, I am not. So not only am I missing my grandsons FIRST EASTER, he and his sister are not getting their gifts.

An important to me package was lost at the PO in NM for a couple weeks, and this local office tracked it, found it, and delivered it asap, in perfect condition. They had also contacted me several times to update me on progress. I sincerely appreciate the above and beyond service!! Thank you!!:)

I use to live on Anchor Dr in Hendersonville and I never knew how much to appreciate the mailman that delivers to that area. Please give this person a raise cause I had Informed Delivery and ALWAYS received EVERYTHING on time. Now Im living in Gallatin and my mail is missing all the time and if I call the post office here no one seems to care.So, thank you H.P.O. for years of great service, keep it up!!

I went in and tried to return my prepaid amazon return by mistake, as I haven’t had to return anything from them in the past and it was my first time. The guy behind the counter was extremely rude to me, and instead of informing me I made a mistake and directing me where to take the package, he stared at me like I was an idiot and condescendingly told me he couldn’t ship it and I would need to take it elsewhere. I wasn’t rude, did make a big deal of it, but he was just flat out rude to me. It is extremely disappointing to me that something as simple as informing me I made a mistake and directing me to where I need to go turned into me being treated like garbage. I know the government probably doesn’t care about this review or the conduct of its employees, but I needed to post in the hopes that I can spare someone else from having those day ruined by a post office clerk who doesn’t care about the people he serves. Seriously, shame on you.

As a college student who has to spend money very wisely, I dont appreciate the carelessness about my package. I ordered a piece of equipment I needed for a class and it was never delivered. My seller through Amazon got back to me immediately saying the post office had it. They had it scanned in the building and everything. After 4 stops to the post office, I had little to no help. They admitted having it a losing my package and then suggested filing a claim through USPS, but it absolutely doesnt help, because the packages must be insured to even file a claim (which is extremely rare for the majority of items). After another visit, this Post Office basically wants me to contact my seller to complain about a undelivered package and try to get them to send me another when in NO WAY is it this sellers fault and I refuse to blame the seller who did everything they were supposed to do. I will no longer be using this post office for my packages as there isnt even a way for me to get a refund.

The Hendersonville postman who covers Bonita Parkway has damaged 2 Christmas presents by shoving them in the mailbox versus actually getting out and knocking on the door or leaving them at the door. This is so ridiculous!!! If you don’t like your job find something else!!!

This is the most unreliable post office I have ever used. Not only am I constantly disappointed and frustrated with my personal use, but with my business use as well. Things are never delivered or received on time. I have no faith that I am even receiving all of my mail. I HATE dealing with the unbelievable incompetence that is the Hendersonville Post Office. The lack of respect and caring for customers is sickening. Unfortunately I feel like the only way this will ever be solved is by moving.

I had a package go missing after being marked as Delivered. During the Holidays this can be expected. The staff helped track it down and make sure it was delivered without further delay. Very pleasant to deal with considering the craziness this time of year.

Lost a Very Important Package of Mine. They think they delivered it to the wrong address. I have received little assistance retrieving it. Basically told me Im simply S.O.L, if it doesnt turn up. Im out of the money I spent. Called the company I purchased from liars. Burned that bridge, all because they are unable to follow the address system. If you cant count, I Do Not want you handling my mail. I cant control how online companies send out shipping. But, if you are sending out anything, choose UPS, Fed X, or send it on a Pony, before you trust the post office. I am very unset, and simply disappointed, and they have not a care in the world regarding my lost package, money, and the business relationship I lost over their careless mistake, and inability to count!

We have the BEST Mail Carrier that comes to our Hotel, The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott at 303 Indian Lake Blvd! She has the best personality! She is always so pleasant and smiling! She is also timely and so efficient!I asked her name today and told her that she is the best mail carrier that we have ever had! Ive had the same check mailed to me twice from Georgia. Ive been waiting since March 21st. Today is April 26th! The 2nd time, they sent it certified so I could track it. The USPS website says it was delivered today. Not! Nothing! Now Ive been on hold for over an hour and I doubt anyone is even at the 800 number provided. This is enough to make me move from Hendersonville.

I am having issues with our trash can and the mailman not delivering mail. It is not our fault that the trash people leave the trash cans out by the curb, as that is something that we cant control, and alot of us dont get home until 5pm to move our cans. That issue should be taken up between the trash company and you guys about that the trash men should leave the trash cans up on the grass out of the USPS way...you should not deliver someones mail because their trash can is in their way...sometimes, the customer could be waiting on a very important piece of mail like their paycheck, and it is delayed just because the post man did not hop out of his truck to put the mail in our mail box because trash can was in his path. This issue needs to be addressed and handled between the trash company and USPS...not the consumer. It is quite frustrating.

They delivered a package to my house yesterday and were so lazy they couldnt even bring it to my porch. They wedged it in the mailbox and I couldnt get it out. Had to get a knife and come back out to cut the box open to get out of my mailbox. Thats our tax dollars NOT at work Sent message to Amazon to please stop using USPS because in my area they suck
