Been here on and off mostly due to more of a home gym these days. PF is a great STARTER gym. Its probably why it gets so much hate but this one Ive never had one issue with including lunk alarm only gone off once within 2-3 yrs. The staff are friendly and if youre self conscious about it dont be. At most you may get someone trying to help new people out with forms when you begin lifting or just ask another gym goer most will be willing to help including staff as they have trainers.

Great facility. Very clean. Most people wipe down equipment after each use. Nice air conditioning. Good variety of TVs in the cardio area. Would be nice if you could access sound via Bluetooth headphones.

I like PF in general because its affordable. Even if I dont go to the gym for a while I still keep my membership.

The staff are the best. Ive been going to this location for months, never once have I found anything out of order or lacking of care. But today was different, because Kyle, at the front desk went above and beyond. My truck had its battery die in the parking lot. Kyle literally did not hesitate and helped me jump start it. He already does a great job, but to go out of his way and help someone, now thats the kind of person that obviously has a good soul. I would recommend this place a hundred times over if I could. Literally turned my entire day around. Give this dude a raise.

I was a member of this planet fitness on and off for about 6 years. The only new equipment during that time that was ever put out, was when Crunch fitness opened up. I remember a men’s toilet being shut down for nearly two months. When the pandemic hit and I started to clean the dumbbells after my sets, I noticed how dirty all of them were. The point is that this place was fine with being a mediocre business until another gym in Hendersonville popped up.

This is my local gym while Im in Tennessee, great atmosphere, clean equipment, and I love the hydro beds... Great experience over all.

I love the positive messages all around the gym, especially the ones about belonging and encouraging us to keep going. I love how clean the ladies locker room is! And I love how friendly the staff are.

This location is chill awesome no gym weirdos try this location.

I am a new member and so far I like it!  Its clean and the machines are in good working order. The staff and gym members seem very nice and respectful so Im satisfied!

Staff are always welcoming. Very clean facility. There are a lot of machines to choose from. Never have to wait even when busy.

Yay!!! They recently got new equipment which is so much better than the old equipment!! Never super crowded but always have ppl there. I was shy at first but realizing no one pays attention to you Ive been going every other day now with my husband for over a month. Definitely a place to unwind, let off some steam. Their stand up beds could use some newer better bulbs and I also wish they gave 5 mins before the bed starts to put on lotion but last time I used their beds I asked for 5 mins and the bed started 1 min after I closed the door so I literally only got to stand for 5 mins of the 8 mins so it was a waist of time. Every other place give 10-12 mins in the same stand up beds too. Need more time to put lotion on before bed starts

Asked many questions, they answered which in the later date turned out to be false. Horrible Gym wouldn’t recommend, for beginners or experienced lifters.

I thought the location in Madison was big but WOW. This is like an actual gymnasium. I was overwhelmed first walking in because I didn’t know they made PF’s this big. The facility has a lot of machines so you don’t have to wait around. The locker rooms are huge and kept very clean. I recommend going here.

Machines were clean and everyone was whipeing down behind themselves. Ill be back next weekend

The front staff at this location is phenomenal! I go most afternoons between6-9 and stay awhile. The staff is awesome !

I have belonged to a few gym/fitness clubs over the years. This Hendersonville facility is probably THE cleanest and most well organized of the clubs I’ve belonged to. The staff are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The other members I’ve met are friendly and non-judgemental. This environment makes for a pleasant & productive workout environment. My wife and I recently moved here and our old fitness club had been closed for almost a year. She joined too. The atmosphere at Hendersonville Planet Fitness has us quickly moving towards our previous exercise levels.

They let people not wear masks even though the county required it and its posted on the door. Issue with a membership and they told us they couldnt help us at all and gave zero options to even be able to pay to use the facility for the day.Also to ensure that the correct team member is talked to we were there at 6:00 p.m. January the 2nd and there were two different staff members at the front desk.

The fact that it’s staffed 24/7 is a huge plus compared to other 24/7 gyms that are not staffed past 5 p.m. All the equipment is in tip top shape. Staff is courteous and friendly and helpful. I hardly ever have to wait for my turn on any equipment because there’s plenty for everyone. It’s very clean and they keep the cleaning stations well stocked.

Plenty of equipment to get through your workout. No waiting unless that guy is on their cell phone between sets. 😒

Facility is large enough to handle the volume of people, so is not crowded. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Its clean. Lots of different machines. Lots of space. Feel more comfortable and confident there than I did when I was a member of another local gym.

Im always getting in there super early in the morning before I go to work and its always easy to get in, go hard, get on with my day. Works for me...

They are open 24/7, until they are closed for a week. And since they don’t allow key fob access like other gyms, you can’t use facilities. I’m certain they won’t refund you for closed time, so they are not delivering the service you’ve paid for.

I love this location. Its always staffed well and very clean. There are always paper towels and cleaning solution at every station. The bathrooms for the ladies are always super clean, as well. Lots of machines, not at all crowded, the water beds and massage chairs are great, and of course its 24 hours.

Place is great! Manager is incompetent has no management or people skills!! I wonder who gave her the job, probably a friend of the family.

I don’t love going to the gym yet but appreciate the clean, friendly and comfortable environment. I also appreciate not being surrounded by leather handbags while I struggle to work off years of poor diet and activity choices as well as baby weight..

This place is spacious, clean, and very nice perks for black card members. Very reasonable membership.

This Place is unprofessional, I tried Cancelling and did a payout, and the month after I was charged again, only the manger can help me know and there only there at certain times, they charged me for insufficient funds even though I already cancelled, I was told the manager would call me, and they never did, please dont sign up.

Got what you need for general fitness. Always well maintained/clean. No free bar squat racks does kind of stink though. Unfortunately thats just how Planet Fitness rolls.The real reason Im giving them a 4/5 vs 5/5 is that they dont enforce their own rules consistently. One individual at the gym does kick flips and whatnot in the abs area everytime hes there, hes gotten uncomfortably close to myself and others while he was kicking and jumping across the area. He likes to take up the whole section and block off the mats, discouraging other customers from using the section.

I got a new membership in January (first gym membership for me) but havent been in to workout yet because someone slammed into the back of my car when i was returning home from the grocery store and Im STILL under chiropractic care. Now theres a virus pandemic scare. This, too, shall pass and i look forward to seeing the friendly, upbeat, informative staff who greeted me when i signed up.

My home gym is the Hendersonville TN location. I am a wheelchair user and I love love love going to the gym. The staff and patrons alike are super friendly and helpful. I can easily access any of the equipment and facilities. It is always super clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough about Planet Fitness!

Planet fitness in Hendersonville is a very big, has everything you need and is always clean. The staff are nice and its always open.

Pretty good for 10$ a month... no place is perfect but they do have a 30 minutes work out center... you keep ur HRT rate up while pumping iron.... pretty good

First, I came inside the gym and one of the front desk workers was not wearing a mask but informed me I had to wear one to enter.Second, they have two total body enhancement machines, and both were broken. Totally unacceptable for a national franchise.Worst Planet Fitness I have ever been to.

Love this gym! The location is great! The gym is also really big so there is plenty of room to move around even on the crazy busy nights. The hours make it easy for me to keep up on my workout routine. The staff is friendly and the gym is always in great condition!!

Best $20/ month I could possibly spend! Tons of equipment ( lots of new stuff), access to the black card spa which has amazing tanning beds, red light therapy booth, massage chairs and hydro massage tables ...so awesome! It is also kept very clean ..keep up the good work !

Great location! A good assortment of workout apparatus, including treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, and machines, and a nice assortment of TVs on various channels to watch while you treadmill, etc. (just bring headphones). Recommended

Like the black card amenities. Great that its open 24/7. Have just updated a lot of their equipment. Would like to see better choice of TV programs other than major networks... Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC etc. Too political.

After visiting pf with a friend, i decided to purchase a classic membership ($10 per month). Today was my second visit, and i am very satisfied. i was at the Hendersonville location for an hour and a half with plenty of space, friendly staff, clean, functional machines, and non- judgemental environment. This location has mostly machines, and not as many freeweights, but i like the machines better anyway🤷‍♂️. They do have a mask policy, but as long as u are actively working out, it isnt required; however u can wear one if you wish. Looking forward to spending many hours at pf!

Super clean, welco.ing, everything works and their is no waiting g for equipment because there is tons of room and options. Lockers outside if theocker rooms, and lockers within. The ladies locker room is very clean and bright.

Anytime you can get a gun closer to a spa, you are heading in the right direction. The staff is always helpful and kind, there are up to date machines, I can bring a friend anytime..... and the hydromassage tables are a great way to finish a workout.

I transferred my membership here, because of excellent training classes led by Clay! He modifies sets and movement to each individuals ability, so we are all challenged and having fun. Machines, locker rooms and black card spa are very well maintained. Only issues are water fountains very warm, and Smith machine hogging (not common, but blatantly obvious when it does happen).

Friendly staff and really clean, but you should try to get here early otherwise it’s packed

As far as value goes, I dont think any other gym beats it. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that its just a tiny bit too busy at times. I love the 30 minute workout and occasionally people use the machines in there for their regular workout instead of following the instructions and doing the 30 minute workout so as not to impede other people doing their 30 minute workout. Im a black card member so I do get the additional advantages of tanning, full body enhancement, and water massage beds. The tanning is probably the biggest value for the add on. Its probably an even better value though to do the basic membership for just 10 a month, especially if you dont intend to tan.

Have been coming to this location for about 2 years. Multiple people have complained to the front desk about the lack of air conditioning over the cardio machines and the fact that it is not low enough in the early house ( 4-6 am).The fans are not enough to keep the area cool.Hopefully this will get some attention.And as a positive note, one of the best attributes is the front desk guy - Derrick- he is so polite and greats everyone !!

Planet Fitness is a great gym to get in shape. Always clean and smelling good. Lots of air circulating to keep you comfortable while you work out. Music and tv monitors. Equipment always works. Attendants and trainers friendly and helpful. Massage chairs and beds are wonderful! ! Plus open 24 hours a day. Glad I joined.

I walked in and was instantly greeted by the beautiful SJ. I told her my interest in wanting to join and she thoroughly explained my options and what they offered. I chose the black card membership. SJ set me up with Zach who was also AMAZING. He went over my diet plan, intentions, and goals. Based on the answers given he created a workout plan just for me and explained how each one helps tone/sculpt the body. Zach also gave me tour of the gym. When got to machines that were on my workout he demonstrated each one in depth. Even making sure I knew how to adjust seats and weights on each. SJ gave me a tour of the spa and let me try the hydro massage bed OMG!!! Amazing. SJ and Zach were AWESOME. They were informative, supportive, and encouraging. I left feeling confident and ready to get in there and master everything. I was also given the training class schedule as well and plan on getting in on some. ☺️

I have toured nearly every gym in the area and Planet Fitness Hendersonville gets my vote as the best value for the money. The gym is spacious, with plenty of modern, well maintained equipment to help me reach my fitness goals. Unlike other gyms, Planet Fitness is open 24/7 so its easy to fit some gym time into my schedule. Planet Fitness offers access to equipment, perks, and other benefits other gyms do not offer, and at a competitive price point.If working out in a no-pressure atmosphere which allows maximum scheduling flexibility sounds good to you, you should give Planet Fitness serious consideration. You will not be disappointed.

Dropped by today & spoke with the General Manager (Connor) about my situation. The membership fee was never deducted from my savings account as planned. I told him about a Diners credit card (which I never had before) was on my account for some reason which caused me to pay the late fee. It turned out the person who did my gym membership put in my bank account info incorrectly. I was really happy when Connor told me my next month’s membership will be free (waived).

I go to Planet 🌎 Fitness’ all over the country. Just left one around Los Angeles area. All are pretty nice but this one had carpet, bench, mirror, coat 🧥 hooks, digital scale, and flowers 🌸 in the locker room. Yep. In the locker room. Most only have combo of the two or none. Literally have to stand in the changing room after a shower with no seat 💺 or mirror or hooks to hang anything. But they all are great for a quick 🏋️‍♂️ workout, massage and shower. This one just has that extra love in the details.Thanks

Easy place to work out and the membership is very affordable. I wish they had more free weights but for what I pay, I get great value here.

The best gym I have ever been a member of! I have been a member of small town gyms and the big fancy ones and this all around the best one. You cant beat the price, the people, the equipment, the cleanliness and the friendly FREE training no matter your fitness level. You will find a place here on this planet!

A very good place to workout to meet whatever goals you have

PF offers good prices everywhere and 24/7 access. This franchise is kept clean and a good location. Staff are helpful if you approach them. Biggest issues I have is there lack of enforcement regarding club rules of wiping down equipment after use. They need to observe the floor more and mention it to customers rather than stand at the counter and talk among themselves. Second issue is its not unusual to have to tell staff that one or more towel dispensers is empty. Overall, it is a good gym with nice equipment.

It’s a very clean and well managed gym. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always feel welcome.

Great location and hours. My only issue is the A/C needs to be on more in the summer! I don’t like to be hot when I’m working out.

I really appreciate being able to go to the gym at almost any hour or day that I want. But, being a Classic member, I can only go to my home gym. I realize that is one of the benefits of a Black card member, but it would be nice if Classic members could pay a fee to go to another PF when traveling. Just a thought!

Good workout equipment

I enjoy it because Im accompanied with a friend and the machines seem seemingly easy to understand to get the job done along with not being overly packed is another great addition. The staff are also very welcoming everytime my friend and I walk in the door.

Comfortable - Members do not intimidate each other; designated No Lunk Zone; leave your ego at the door & keep silent; no grunting, moaning, or weight slamming.Clean - I mean this gymnasium smells clean throughout, even in the locker room; floors are spic-n-span; equipment dusted by staff.Sanitary - members wipe down equipment after each use; sanitation supplies within 25 feet at all times.Parking - spacious lot with 300+ spaces; easy in, easy park, easy exit. Usage - Unlimited: this facility is open 24/7.For $10/month, this is the best bargain at the best location in Hendersonville.I do not work for Planet Fitness. I have been going to Planet Fitness for two years now. I have met my fitness goals thanks to the welcoming culture and diverse machines/weight racks (for which there are plenty!). I’ve also been to other Planet Fitness locations, and this one blows them away! Great staff, clean, just an all around awesome atmosphere!

This gym is always clean and the workers always greet me. Quality equipment, clean bathrooms, cheap membership. Its a busier gym so try not to go during peak times if you dont like a crowd.

By far my favorite gym around! The staff is outstanding and always around to help and answer any questions you may have. Facility is very nice and always clean. I can always get a great work out in any day of week, it’s never too overcrowded. Love being a PF member here!

Tried to cancel with no good help from this facility. Been a member, in good standing. about 2 years. I moved a bit away from there and dont have the time to go there. Talking to them on the phone and they told me I cant transfer membership. I have the black card but am not allowed to cancel unless I physically go into their faciity. Even though the contract says different. I went in and was told they are still charging me another month because it had to cancel by the 10th. They did not tell me this when I talked to them on the phone. There is nothing in the contract stating this either. The website will not let me remove my bank info. I would never join another Planet Fitness again.

Planet fitness of Hendersonville is simply the best gym I have been to in quiet some time! The employees are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this gym to anyone and if your on the fence about this place. You need to try it out you will not regret the decision!
