Lou Dalrymple guided me through a selection process that lead me to purchase an OREC Trailblazer from McNeely in Hendersonville, NC. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and very responsive. He delivered and set up the Trailblazer even though it was literally on top of a mountain.I recently obtained service from the same Hendersonville store. Adam, the service tech demonstrated knowledge and courtesy. He completed my service promptly.If you are like me (not even sure what brands are best, what machine is best) I suggest that you ask Lou, Adam, and the McNeely folks for advice.Ken Ichikawa works for OREC. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Customer service is the worst Ive ever seen. My husband rented a Bobcat. Delivery was fine, product worked well. No one came to pick it up over the weekend (which we thought was odd), but when we recieved our bill theyd charged us an extra day (no small fee). We thought, No problem, well just go talk to them and have this cleared up. My husband spoke to the manager who then called over his employee (who was supposed to be the one to pick up the machine). When questioned the employee actually lied straight to my husband and his boss and said that hed tried to pick it up but that my husband told him to leave it! We were absolutely flabbergasted! I was at the house that day and can verify that NO ONE attempted to pick up the machine. I was, however, there the following day when he DID arrive to pick it up. Unreal. We are local, small business owners who would very likely have used their services again had we not had this extremely awful and upsetting experience.

I just returned an MT55 and trailer. There was no catch, no surprises, and no bull. If I had a complaint, its that the rental fee was so light, that I just cant justify buying my own tractor. And I really had my heart set on wasting my money on one.

Could not get the aerator to stay running that I rented. Bumped up the review to 3 star since they have me a full refund.

A pretty good Husqvarna dealer. They order quickly but have high Dealer prices. They were just bought out so things will probably change. Same good employees but well have to wait and see about the rest. Ive never rented from them.

Purchased a new husqvarna 372xp on 7/14/20. Very knowledgeable staff, great saw, and competitive price.

I rented a one person auger for a day. Pick up was straightforward enough. Only glitch with pickup was one staff member brought out the wrong bit meant for the two person. Luckily, another realized the problem before I left and brought the right one. Nobody made an effort to demonstrate operation until I prompted them to do so. Even then it was a basic overview of what the buttons did. Wish I had made them turn it on before I left... I got home with it and quickly realized there was a problem. The throttle was not working and you couldnt adjust the speed. It was on or off at full throttle and rather dangerous to use. I brought it back the next day and reported the problems. They did offer to send me out with another one but I declined as I had already hired someone to come do the job for me. I guess I expected and equipment rental store to make sure the equipment they rent out is functioning properly before sending it out. Learn from my mistake and make sure function is demonstrated before you leave. The only upside to this experience after wasting my time was a partial refund of what I had paid.

We rented their 7 wood chipper last year and it worked great! We tried renting it again this year, it wasnt available but we were told their 6 worked just as well, so we went ahead. This machine didnt work well at all, we couldnt get a 3 piece through it without it jamming. When we took it back after struggling for 1 1/2 hours and complained we told that this was a light duty chipper and wouldnt do what the 7 could. They still charged us for 1/2 a day which somehow works out to be 3/4 the cost of a full day. Wont rent or recommend them again.

If they dont have what you need local, they grab it from another store! Prices are fair and equipment worked as it should!

I rented a rear tan tiller and and the drive belt kept slipping and slipping and slipping it wouldnt dig into any dirt, so I took it back and got another one with no problem loaded up put in my garden and it didnt do as good as what I remember, slipped a few times too not nearly as bad as the first one but I kept having to pick it up out of the dirt to get it moving. Seems like they may not be taking care of their rental equipment very well.

Didnt rent. After being insulted by the clerk asking if I was willing to put in the effort, he was evassive in answering simple questions, particularly about fees he didnt want to discuss. Never swore or raised my voice, but was told I was being rude and that I didnt have to rent there when asking why I had to pay for them to repair their own equipment if it broke through no fault if mine. A simple up front answer would have worked, but the kid seemed resentful of someone actually doing some work when he didnt look like he could find either end of the items he was renting.

We rent all our equipment here for work. Great people and new location is nice and much better organized. Go see them.

I rented a walk behind Husqvarna concrete saw for a commercial job. It ran fine initially and operated adequately for the first 30-45 minutes but after that it kept stalling on me. After working with it for another 20 minutes and getting frustrated I took it back to the store but they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I took it back to the job site and still it would not run adequately so I returned it after having used it for about an 1 1/2 hr. of a 3 hour period. They charged for 4 hrs. Thought that was a little much based on the time used and problems that I had. Probably won’t rent there again.

I have a lawn tractor and a chainsaw, both Husquavarna, and I recently took the chainsaw to Affordable to have a muffler repaired. I left it with the clerk and was called about a week later and told they could not find parts for it. The saw is less than 10 years old, so I asked what the problem was, and he told me he didnt know why they discontinued that part, and handed me my saw. I went home and looked on the internet and found the parts I needed in about ten minutes, for less than $12.00. You may want to consider an alternate choice for purchase and repairs, as this place is pretty lame, not to mention hard to find.
