Please read. Do not use the Morrow Insurance Agency in Hendersonville, NC. Let me tell you why. Few months ago, a young girl named Cassandra Folsom bought her very own car. A 2017 VW Passat. My mother in law cosigned for her. At the time, Cassie was driving a Subaru. I contacted my agent, and let her know who was on the title, the lien holder and the vehicle information. She said she would leave the Subaru on the account for one week, so Cassie could turn her plate in. She told us the VW was insured, and that information was relayed to the dealership. As those of you who know my background (police work for 20 years and car sales for 2 years) I did everything required to make sure Cassie had insurance. Fast forward a couple of months, and we get our insurance bill. The Subaru is still on the insurance, but the VW is no where to be seen. I call and leave a message, and they call back and say they are fixing it. Cassie receives a letter in the mail from the state, saying she has no insurance and has to pay a fine. We go in a couple of weeks ago, and sit down with our agent. The agent says that Cassie cant be on our insurance, because we arent on the title. I point out that this was no conveyed to me when all the information was provided, and we thought she was insured. Our bill went up after all. Agent tells us that they are extending the insurance on Cassie, so she can get her own coverage. Agent also tells me and Cassie she would fax a letter to the tag office. I have a good friend who works there named Lisa Nesbitt Dowdy, and I let her know to look out for the letter. Cassie and I had gone to the tag office and spoke with Lisa. Today, Cassie goes to pay the fine, and the letter was never faxed. A woman named Debbie tells my daughter that she cant get the FS-1 form because she isnt covered. I call and speak to Debbie, and fill her in on my background, to establish that I know what I am talking about, and the history of what is going on. She then tells me that Cassie isnt covered. I get a little angry, and inform her that this whole thing is The Morrow Insurance Agencys fault, and I want it fixed. She breaks in and asks if she can say anything. I say, unless you are going to give me the FS-1 like i was told multiple times by your agency, then I didnt want to hear what she said. She said she was not going to give the FS-1 form. I said, ok, bye. I will be moving away from your agency and hung up. They promised many times to fix an issue that was their fault. They never did. DO NOT USE THE MORROW INSURANCE AGENY.
