My husband and I bought an older home that needed a great deal of work - more than we originally expected! Despite contacting other contractors, Design Builders answered our call and managed the renovation of three bathrooms, as well as numerous other projects around the house. The results were fantastic.We recently had a leak (from the roof) into one of those bathrooms and Design Builder is back for the clean up and repair process. They even repaired the leak on the roof before another round of rain because no roofer would do the job!For the most part, Design Builder staff (at all levels and positions) are helpful and knowledgeable and they want to do a good job. We will continue to use them and recommend them to others.- Alison

Design Builders is an attentive, efficient, responsive company. I had a flood and they renovated my kitchen. They listened to my budgetary needs and treated me like I was their only project. I would highly recommend them for ground up construction and renovations, for commercial or residential needs.

This company was recommended by a contracting service through my bank. I honestly cannot recommend them if you have a timeline, want it done the first time around, or appreciate your house locked up properly when the crew leaves. For example the French doors were removed without ensuing the replacement was in stock leaving my house boarded up with plywood over a holiday weekend - then to have temporary doors placed. The property was left unlocked a handful of times - both the physical door and the lockbox with keys (left wide open). The crew did a poor job of cleaning up after projects - I have found twenty razor blades in the backyard - not good when you have pets. A 10 day project stretched out for over six weeks. I will not use this company again.

Design Builders is a great company to use regardless of the project. They will get this done quickly and correctly.

I cant speak for the quality of work they do but one of their drivers in a White Dodge pickup, NV plate 27D 400, almost hit my son and I as he went through a stop sign without even slowing down by water street today. Thanks goodness one of us was paying attention.

The WORST.Everything thats stated in the following review can be corroborated by the Nevada State Contractors Board and/or documented evidence:Design Builders, Ltd worked on our residence beginning on 6/25/18 (removing two walls and altering seven) with NO PERMITS WHATSOEVER. When they retroactively attained permits on 10/30/18 the NSCB had already been alerted and the inspector had made his first visit. They were found in violation of NRS 624.3011 (1)(b)(1). Aside from constant delays and insults from their employees (all documented via text & email) they didnt even provide a Scope of Work until 6 weeks past their start date. There were entire weekends their subcontractors were left unsupervised in our home and they have admitted, in writing, their performance on this job was substandard. Theyve been unapologetic in their drunken insults towards us and were now in a legal battle which will be lengthy, costly and embarrassing for Design Builders, Ltd. as we have EVERYTHING documented and theyve managed to CAUSE in excess of $50K in damage to our residence. Choosing this company was, simply put, the worst decision weve ever made. Should anyone contemplate using this company for a remodel please reply and Ill send you a 55 page document of the damage theyve inflicted, the insults theyve corroborated from their employees towards the customer and the written violation from the NCSB at my cost.

Once the insurance company sent Design Builders to do a quote, the workers were out with in hours.They fixed the stucco damage to the house, cleaned up and replaced ALL landscape damage and painted the house all in 1 day.They cleaned up ALL they used to start and finish the job.VERY PROFESSIONAL !I would recommend and use this Company again for ANY exterior renovation.Plus no one in my family or the 4 and 5 year old girls next door were injured.Design Builders Rocks !!Steve Wing.Old Sterling st.Las Vegas Nv

I would give no stars if I had the choice!A little over a week ago, I was told by a worker at Design builders that they would be able to take care of remodeling my backyard. I had talked about pavers, synthetic grass, and moving an existing fence to a different area of my back yard. I was told to contact their main office to schedule an appointment. After calling the office and speaking with Sarah, she had asked what type of work I needed done. She stated that wouldnt be a problem and continued to schedule someone to come out. The next day, Roland was 30 min late but arrived none the less. He took a look around, took measurements, bounced some ideas around... He then kept reassuring us that is would be easy work. He said he would draw up something for the HOA and have an estimate by the end of the week. Well the week has ended and we are in a new week. I called the company and asked for Roland and they said he will get back to us the next day. I got a call today from Sarah at the office stating they dont do the type of work I needed done. UMMMMM WHAT? This company is unprofessional to say the least. Im still so baffled as to why none of the three people Ive dealt with had once mentioned to me they dont do the work. And Im confused as to what point during this process would I have been told?! Never go with this company. They need to go out of business since they are all unsure of the types of jobs they can do. Still in shock and upset about all the wasted time!! And no one will take ownership. Unbelievable
