They didn’t show up at all I have Waited over 2 weeks had to call them to find out when the part would get here. No showed end I had To find out by calling . Rescheduled hopefully they will even come . Super hurt by the lack of service . I have 2 kids and no fridge7/28 guess what no appointment today another no show and another reschedule this is BS now I have To wait another week .

3 stars for the person that came to assess my microwave. It was replaced 1 year ago and CRACKED AGAIN. He tried to tell me it was cosmetic... cracked at both places where the handles attached. I have 2 children, so one day having it pull off and someone fall of their chair is a hard NO. He just kept arguing with me over everything... I have no idea why. pretty sure he would have argued the sky was purple with me had it come up. In the end he just plugged it in and it was NO BIG DEAL! So, why all the arguing? UGH! 3 starts b/c I got the microwave part got ordered and 2nd appointment scheduled... the only reason.The technician that installed was great! He was very nice, quick, clean and friendly. 5 stars for him! Nice job!
No service man came, no one called. 5 month battle for sears to honor their master protection agreement. received a phone call offering $80 toward routine garage door maintenance where i pay and send documentation for sears to send reimbursement check. i have had this master protection agreement for the last 18 years. need i say more?

The repairman was excellent. He came twice and determined the Refrigerator cannot be repaired and needs replacement under our extended warranty. I have contacted pa-benefits. They are move slow,, as expected. I am still waiting with no Refrigerator. Love the repairman, not crazy about Sears response.
The dishwasher repairman was knowledgeable. He explained to me what the code meant, and what might be the problem. He swiftly fixed the problem, and reminded me that I had a 30 day window in case there was a further problem.The repairman practiced safe distancing and we both wore our masks.

Warranty Service on whole house HVAC. Required a replacement capacitor on the condenser fan under a parts warranty. they charged $393.99 labor on this job.It literally took less time to repair than to process my credit card. I have since been told that the part and labor should not have exceeded $200 and usually is closer to $100. My recommendation is to avoid Sears like the plaque. They obviously are no longer the reputable company that they once were.
The service men were great and had my freezer repaired in no time. My only quibble was that although I explained to the customer service rep what the problem was, this message had not been passed on to the repairmen - a wasted journey since he did not have the required part with him. Other than that I am more than satisfied!
The service provided was excellent the only problem was that the e-mail that I gave to get my invoice was a letter off. Oops. But that was corrected and I got my invoice and other notices. Union Plumbing showed up the next day to install the heater. Ryan and Kevin did an outstanding job. They arrived and quickly went to work. Job was done in an hour. 45 minutes later I had hot water. Thank you very much. Appreciate the quick response from everyone.

Called to make an appointment to repair our dryer. After speaking to someone with a thick accent, we confirmed the appointment over the phone pending the confirmation email. I was instructed to call by the end of day if I hadnt received the email. Upon discovering I had not received the email, I called back. The recording I received was shocking and robbed any confidence I had with Sears Appliance repair. Our system is down. Please call back tomorrow. What a joke. I just made another appointment with someone else due to Sears incompetence.
The repair of my washing machine went flawlessly. The scheduler was quick and courteous and a technician set up for the next day! Louis arrived on time, was extremely friendly and patient as he explained -- in detail -- what was wrong with the unit and what was needed to repair it. And all the needed parts were on the truck, thanks to the scheduler getting the needed information. Louis was quick and the extensive repair completed flawlessly. Thank goodness for the extended appliance warranty I purchased -- money well spent! I highly recommend these warranties for major appliances. Would I call upon Sears for other repair services whether I had a special warranty or not? You bet!

I am very disappointed with Sears. When I bought my fridge and freezer I specifically wanted a Sears Kenmore. The reason for that-- They would always last!! The repair man came (a very nice young man) He informed me that my appliances are not Sears Kenmore that they are LGS. Anyway the fridge that was not making ice I was told that the part was covered by warranty, but the labor would be $400-$500. So I opted to not have it repaired. The Freezer was working, but $139.00. Basically this guy did absolutely did nothing. He did try to sell mouse a household warranty which I would pay monthly, but would my appliances still get fixed. No wonder Sears is going bankrupt, the service and charges are outrageous. I am done with Sears.

My machine had not worked properly since it was new, which was 2 years, and he listened to me and fixed it in 2 visits. It wasnt what anyone thought at all, the heating element, it was the main brain. and it came that way from the factory. But a $1200.00 D/W you want to run quiet and efficient. I now love my Kitchen Aide product.Thank You Sears.

Service tech was prompt. Knew immediately what the likely problem was with our model washing machine and easily discovered the issue. He explained it, and the solution was simply and required no parts (just some Lock Tight). He was able to repair and double check the issue was fixed in about 40 minutes. The tech should get five stars but apparently this issue is so well know and so easy to fix that is should be taken care of prior to selling it in the first place. So 1 star for Kenmore!
The Sears technician was very courteous and thorough and knew his job and he was very Professional. I was very pleased at the service he performed on my washer and dryer. He advised me on the upcoming dates of my maintenance agreement and assured me if there was any trouble with my appliances to not hesitate and to give Sears a call!
It was the easiest procedure to do. Made a call to Service about the dishwasher panel, an appointment was make for two days later. The tech came and replace the part. And now its beautiful again. The tech had been to our house before, hes very personable and helpful.
We were visited by a very affable and savvy technician who tuned up our furnace and it operates noticeably better after his visit. He really seemed to have a grasp of what was going on. He instilled confidence as a technician. I am pleased that we used Sears as our Appliance Repair people. Thanks again.

First off let me say that I only had to use this service because the water heater was 3 years old before it failed and was still under warranty.The water heater broke on a Tuesday morning, Sears home service would be to my house Wednesday between 1 and 5pm. The Sears van showed up at my house at 3 pm, parked outside, turned around and left without getting out or doing anything. When I called in to Sears customer service, they said they had dispatched the tech to another town and she would check his era for return and call us back. They never called. At 4pm I submitted my concerns to their online chat service who said the tech will be there at 4:20pm. Nothing. I call customer service back and they give me an eta between 4:55 and 6pm. At 4:57, the technician calls me himself and says he is not making it out to us today. Keep in mind that the tech ALREADY DROVE TO MY HOUSE before leaving and doing nothing. I called customer service back and explained my frustrations again, to which they responded with checking their GPS and telling me no one ever drove to my house so I was lying about that information. They then said I have to wait until Thursday between 1 and 5pm. I requested I be the first call of the morning since my initial call was missed and now I am waiting at home for them all day for the 2nd day in a row. A tech shows up at 10:30 Am and takes pictures and leaves!! What? Why? Why did you send a tech who can do nothing but take photos?? This guy said another tech will show up in a few hours. The NEW tech comes at 3pm and says you need a new water heater!!! Obviously, and then proceeds to give me a quote for $900 (minus the heater itself which is warrantied). 1 hour later they call and tell me the install cant happen until the following Wednesday. This is 8 days with no hot water and I feel like this service and their dispatchers, customer service reps, and general help was some of the worst service of all time. I reached out to my home warranty department and they will be looking for reimbursement. If it happens again, I will go buy my own water heater and the necessary components to do it myself for cheaper and not have to deal with this.
The service was great ! The repair man cleaned all three appliances, he was very neat never left a mess of any kind.. I love their service always on time.
The repairman did a wonderful job, absolutely no complaints about his competence and professionalism. The problem was with the lag time in communication between Sears and his company that made the wait for the repairman take an inordinate amount of time. If you experience any delay in meeting the repairman at your rental, be sure to impress upon Sears that they must directly speak with the repairman to relay your ETA.
The service was fine.... when he finally arrived. Sears gave me a four hour window and then the technician came AFTER that with no call letting me know the technician would be late.
Technician arrived on time and repaired the drier quickly. I cant speak of value of service since we have a repair agreement. But the job was completed quickly and professionally.
This has been a long frustrating experience. The incorrect part was ordered and it took many phone calls to get the appointment rescheduled. The technician was a no show on the scheduled date with no notification from sears. Any information on the change of times was obtained by my phone calls. When the technician came the next day, his boss attempted to instruct us to hire a plumber as they couldnt find the correct part in their stock. When we refused, he finally allowed the technician to purchase the correct part at Home Depot. With the correct part, the repair was quick and easy. There was no problem with the technician, he was following instructions from his boss via phone. Very unhappy with sears home warranty plan.
I was happy with the service. I was able to make the appointment online and schedule for a convenient time. The service guy was on time and called a few minutes before he got there. He determined the problem quickly and replaced the broken part, and so far my washer does not leak like it did before.

Although the technician was pleasant I was told that the reason my dryer wasnt drying the clothes completely was because I needed the dryer vent cleaned. I made the first appointment available and did not use the washer/dryer until after the appointment because I was concerned about the hazard of a fire. However, after the dryer vent was professionally cleaned, my dryer is still not properly drying my clothes.Ive purchased appliances through Sears for many years, I remember shopping at Sears with my parents since I was a child, in the 1960s. Its sad to say, because Ive relied on Sears appliances for years, I will seek another brand and store to purchase my next washer and dryer. The Sears appliance Protection Plan is basically useless. I would not recommend spending the money!

Kathy was awesome. When we called, it was confusing because they claimed they could not look up whether or not we had an extended warranty (which we thought we had). Kathy was able to verify for us and did a great job.
Tom was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. He explained what the problem could be and after he took apart the dryer drum, he was able to find the problem. All this repair Tom explained what happened and what repairs would be needed. the repair was fast and efficient.
Very qualified technician, diagnosed the problem with furnace blower immediately and repaired. He also checked the anode rod in the water heater due to some red water in the tub. The anode rod was totally used up and a new rod was ordered two day delivery. I believe the Sears extended warranty is the best out there and backed by excellent staff and techs.
Sears wanted over $1500 to repair my washer! And the repair man wasnt sure if that would be enough. Because I thought that was ridiculous, I had to pay the $79 repair call. I gave my debit card, which he said was declined. My debit card is never declined. So we gave him cash, but he said he couldnt make change. Then I wrote a check, but their remote check cashing system didnt work. By this point I was frustrated and told the guy to call his manager. He became insolent and politely argumentative. FINALLY we found the correct cash amount and told him to get out of our house. I will NEVER use Sears again.
First off it was the microwave that needed repair. Not happy...wasted time with part ordered being damaged. I had to reschedule appointment to March 22, 2016. I have invested about 18 hours of my time to have a microwave repaired.Lucky I went out an bought a counter top microwave ($63.00) to keep the spouse happy. Twenty some days without our microwave.The service repair person was great and concerned.

Sears Appliance Repair fixed my Kenmore water heater. Problem was a defective gas valve still under warranty. My experiences:Pros:* Valve (part) still covered by warranty* Service technician friendly, knowledgeable* Valve replacement took 15 minutes* Technician offered a discount because I had prepped the water heater before he arrived by emptying it, removing the defective valve and cleaning the pipe fittings.* Hot water againCons:* Had to pay for labor because past first year. Funny.....car dealers dont charge labor for a warranty covered repair. Why does Sears do this?* Original service appointment missed. Sears technician ( different one) called at last minute to say he couldnt exceed his hours for the day and Im way across town. What ?? Rescheduled for next day.Summary:Despite the somewhat bogus excuses from first technician, the repair was done during second appointment and we are pleased.
Although the repair tech was running behind, he was very efficient and told me about the insurance plan they offer for all appliances. It was very reasonable and saved me half on my bill for that visit!

The reason for this rating is that he was late and never did call until he was a 1/2 late and was still at the other job. Other wise he did a good job., and screwed up my hold day.
I have used Sears Home Rpr for a long time. Always punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and the Techs do a good job. I now have the whole house warranty for appliances and water heaters, AC/Heating systems, etc. Items do not have to be Sears brands. I can always count on Sears Home Rpr!

The response to our request was handled promptly, and the repair was scheduled for the next day, so that was nice and we did not have to wait without an ice maker.Very disappointed that we had to buy the whole ice maker for our 2 year old LG refrigerator with the slimspaceplus ice maker. It seemed that the repair guy could have at least tried to fix the tweek in the ice dispenser rather than just replace without trying. There were no replacement parts according to the repair guy. He was very nice, obviously experienced. Glad it is fixed. Just costly.

The service tech - George - was very knowledgeable & I think he fixed my problem by re-calabrating my washing machine. Ive only used it once but it seems to be OK. Well see tho. The first appointment never happened. I called twice and i was told he is still coming . At 7pm, when i called again, the lady said im just not sure if he is still coming or not. After waiting 6 hours, i knew 7pm was too late for a service call. Why no call..why no service?Very very annoying. I asked for a supervisor to call the next day...did anyone call? Nope!!A couple of days later, service was done...

Repairman was having a bad day and discussing problems with previous customers. Instead of carefully placing things that were near the washer such as broom mop step laddr dustpan he threw them out of the way and kicked them with his foot into the middle of the kitchen. A handmade ceramic magnet was just tossed on the kitchen counter and shattered broken. It was sentimental and was broken without any care or thought. Very unprofessional. His behavior was completely unacceptable and be was very rude.I spoke with sears customer service and they were very courtious and apologetic. I was assured that this repair man would not return to my home again.

Our refrigerator is still not working right ! So I have to say it was terrible, now I have to wait until 1 -4-17 ! I am extremely disappointed!! Please have them come earlier, I have to take off of work again, my employer is docking me pay and I am being written up, I cant do anything else as our refrigerator is broken. I have to miss work because your guy is already booked on the 1-2-17. This is extremely poor customer service on Sears part. We have have been a faithful customer for years and this is terrible.I dont think anyone ever reads this.

Repairman came in basically to tell me both appliances were working for $126. I had to ask him to clean out the dryer vent from the dryer to wall and he left lint all over the back of the dryer. I had to ask him to clean the filter in the washer and now its leaking water on the floor when it wasnt before. Charge was $149 and Im worse off now than before.
He fixed the problem very quickly. Very satisfied with the repair service of our ovendoor. Thank you.

I would rate this zero stars if possible. The guy whipped out his cell phone - took a pic of the product info inside the door - punched in some #s on his lap top and said it has to be one of these 3 things wrong with your 3yo Kenmore refrig. I had already explained that at times a motor would run 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off - - sometimes for hours. He said according to the 3 things on his laptop - it must be a fan hitting ice. I said - those sounds are not remotely similar. He said - I can take it apart and cut the factory-installed foam for $240. - or you can unplug it for 24 hrs and let the ice melt for the $100 youre paying for this call. I reminded him that what I was hearing was not a fan hitting ice - but - a motor running on and off at 10 second intervals sometimes for hours. He said - well - I got 35 more mins on this call - - its up to you - - (btw - - he didnt even attempt to look at the refrig . . . just his laptop.) I will never purchase a product from Sears or call these jackasses for service again. My recommendation - - Stay Away From SEARS. Its not the Sears we grew up with.

He explained his findings to us in a clear and easy to understand manner and appears to have corrected the problem with the issues we were having. Good job & he gets the 5 rating.However, Sears gets a 1 as we were disappointed with the long delay we encountered in getting our appointment rescheduled due to having a Sears vehicle break down. We never received word of the cancellation the day of the appointment until we called when no one showed up during the timeframe of 10 to 2. This is totally unprofessional! We altered our schedule to ensure someone would be here when the repairman would arrive. It was very unprofessional that no Sears representative would call us and let us know the repairman would not be there that day or until a week later. This is especially true since we found out the break-down of the vehicle occurred that morning, giving plenty of time to contact us before, during or after the 10 to 2 timeframe.The appointment was originally scheduled for July 5th. The soonest reschedule was offered as July 12th - One full week later! Totally unacceptable. Due to a prior doctor appointment on the 12th, we had to opt for the day after, July 13th. Sounds like Sears needs more vehicles and repairmen and office workers who keep customers in the loop of changes to appointments and commitments.

This was the absolute worst repair service possible. It took 5 weeks to repair our 2 year old Samsung dishwasher. The technician was just lazy. Are you ready for all of this? Nice guy but: visit 1: Wouldnt run diagnostics or listen to what was really wrong with it. Told us AND charged us $90 for to much soap and left. Week 2: Came back and refused again to run diagnostics because we have floor molding in front of it. Told me we had to take it off and he would back in a week. Week 3: Took off the bottom panel and ran diagnostics but wouldnt fix it because he wouldnt take out the dishwasher. Yes thats right. Told me we had to do it and rescheduled for a week later. Week 4: showed up and told us he didnt have the part. Thats it. Week 5 Part 1: Made me disconnect dishwasher and hoses and move the dishwasher. When my wife asked why he wasnt doing it himself he responded been there done that. Replaced a part then tried to leave before testing out the machine to make sure it worked. Huh weird it didnt work. He needed a 2nd part he claimed he didnt know needed replacing. Said he didnt have it on the truck and ordered it. Week 5 Part 2: Replaced the 2nd part and made sure it worked then tried to leave. My wife asked if he was going to put the machine back together since she was home alone he responded no thats what your husband is for Annnd he left with our dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen.Honestly this is embarrassing. If I never have to call this company again I will be happy. I will buy a new appliance elsewhere before dealing with this again. The guy was nice but this is a very short review leaving out a lot of details. We live in a very small town and have no other option for our Samsung Appliances and this guy was contracted out through A&E however as I said before I will buy a new appliance from Lowes to not ever have to deal with the lack of care or concern we were shown through this experience. Both my wife and I called both A&E and Sears numerous times to complain and never received any ounce of concern from either company.

The appointment window was 1-5pm. The techs arrival time was after 5:30pm. Also, per confirmation emails and Sears website advertisement, the price for AC maintenance was $69, but the tech said that price was incorrect and charged $89. He proceeded to inform me that the actual price was $129.99, but I was getting a $40 discount and that the $69 cost was for....blah....blah.....blah. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with Sears and will no longer use them.

I was not completely happy with the person we got. It was the end of the day and Imsure he was tired but he never even took the grill off at the bottom of the fridge andcleaned in there. I was ill and not able to be there so my hubby took care of thingsbut he did not know to have that done. The guy said it wasnt dirty! After a whole yearsince the last checkup I seriously doubt that.
