These guys are straight shooters. Very nice. Fast and put up with my barking, petting obsessed dogs. They saved me thousands of dollars or at least a good chunk of time. Other well known companies this to sell me a new ac unit right out of the gate. These guys fixed the capacitor but also told me it was a smart idea to save up for a mew unit in the future bc mine was 12 hrs old. They’re great.

Hector was a total professional. He explain each step he took to diagnose the problem and had system up and running in 20 minutes. Afterward I requested he replace our obsolete thermostat.He replaced it and ran a diagnostic check to verify everything was running properly. Totally Satisfied with Black Mountain Air. Black Mountain Air is by far the best AC service. We had both Michael and Robert do repairs and service on our unit ( which is really old) and they were both great! One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating came yesterday to assess our Air Conditioning unit. They told us we needed a whole new unit and gave us a price of over $12,000. Black Mountain Air came out the next day, changed a fuse...total cost $90.00. The unit works perfectly. Black Mountain Air is the only company to use, they are fair and honest.

We use Black Mountain Air for all of our heating and AC needs as we have found them to be a responsive, competent and fairly priced service provider. Most of us have no idea about what is really the problem with our AC equipment and when it is 112 degree F outside, most of us dont care that we dont know! I feel comfortable that Black Mountain is recommending the correct solution and is pricing it fairly. Both of these issues are important to me.

Will and his two coworkers were very friendly and did a wonderful job removing old equipment and installing new air-conditioning equipment. They were conscientious to verify everything was working correctly before they left. And I was very happy that they laid down runners throughout the house to prevent dirtying the floor and carpeting. I couldn’t be happier with their work ethic and overall friendliness.

This place fixed my air conditioner about five maybe six years ago and did a great job. my air conditioner was acting up again so I called them again. They could get us in the next day. My husband said just call another company but I told him Black Mountain Air did my air conditioner before they did a good job we’re going to use them again. Robert came out who also fixed my ac first time. He fixed in 30 minutes and was only a $200 charge which I thought was gonna be thousands because our air conditioners pretty old. This company is amazing they are honest and they do good work!

From initial contact to installation everything went smooth. I voiced my concerns about my old dying unit to them and we quickly came up with a plan. On the same day I had a technician out to measure for the new unit and an estimate. 2 days later I had a crew of technicians out at my house installing the new unit. The whole install took about 3 to 4 hours start to finish. Everyone I dealt with either in person or over the phone was great to work with.

Robert came out to service the air con units. Hes honest, down to earth, positive attitude and answered all our questions. Las Vegas, and the whole world, needs more people like him. Black Mountain you guys are the best.

This was our second time using Black Mountain Air, but it had been many years between visits. Their customer service is outstanding. We noticed an issue with our AC on Easter Sunday. I logged into their website to see what time they opened so I could call first thing. I was surprised and pleased to find that they offer online scheduling. This is so convenient. I chose the time slot I wanted for the next day, and left a description of what services I needed. They called the next morning to give me a more specific time within the time window I had picked. I appreciated that because then we werent sitting around just waiting. They let us know when they were on the way. Michael was our technician. He was extremely friendly, explained everything, and gave us options. The motor in one of our units was going bad, but he explained it could probably last the season if we wanted it to. We decided to go ahead and have it replaced now. The cost for the consult, and the repair were both extremely reasonable.

I hooked up my own mini split system at my house, but there were a couple of issues I came across that prevented my unit from pushing refrigerant around the system. After calling Black Mountain Air yesterday, I told them about my issue and gave me an estimated time window that they had no problem meeting when they came by today. Bobby and Trevor swung by and solved my problem with ease which made me glad I called for help, because as a handyman who knows a little about a lot, it’s hard to swallow pride sometimes and accept that you need outside help when you just want to get the job done. Yannick checked out the AC unit on ground and we both didnt hear the noise that my RENTER described. He then check the freon and said the unit is in good working condition. He charged me ZERO yes ZERO for the service call and told me if I have problem in the future I can call them. This was completely shock to me and i know which company i WILL call for any AC service.

This is the second time I have used Black Mountain Air. Both times I have been very impressed with this company. The service technician (Michael) came out to take a look at my HVAC unit because it has been struggling to keep cooling during the past few very hot days. He checked it out thoroughly and as everything was working properly during his visit, he could not offer a service. He waived the service fee since he didnt do anything (his words - Id say he DID do something - he climbed on top of my two story roof, removed the bird netting, investigated my unit, and then replaced my bird netting before coming down again - he was here about half an hour). He talked to me for a few minutes afterwards, and recommended I call them again if the issue arises so they can send a tech over to inspect the unit while its failing so they will have a better idea what the issue is. Though I could wish that there was a clear issue of some failing part that could easily be replaced, I really appreciated that Micheal was upfront with me about my issue and didnt just try to do something (anything) in order to complete a service. This experience is consistent with the experience I had last year when the same technician came out to service my other HVAC unit (he replaced the fan motor on that unit). In my dealings with Michael as well as with Todd, the owner, via text, the impression I get is that this company is both honest and professional. If I have any further HVAC needs (and I am sure to within the next couple of years), Black Mountain Air has my business.

Installed new HVAC inside and outside units for about 60% the cost of Lowes and Home Depot quotes. Total installation time was about four hours. Answered all my questions regarding operation and maintenance.

There was initially a problem with the compressor that Black Mountain was installing, but they dealt with the problem—getting a new unit—and had everything resolved the next day. So no complaints at all here.

Had Robert come out today to check my AC. It hadnt been serviced in a few years and I just wanted to make sure everything was good.
