I have never received such terrible service in all my years of receiving mail than I have from the Helena, MT USPS. Currently heading up my 40th Class Reunion and after 26 months of receiving mail at the same address the carrier decided to start forwarding and returning it to the sender. Even two and three days after I reported the issue directly to one of the supervisors at the main post office, packages were still returned. Now I dont have the summer dresses I was planning to wear to the event, the items ordered for our parade float and god only knows how many classmate registrations have been returned. Not to mention the struggles I will face getting refunds for my purchases!

Pretty straightforward... buy stamps, mail stuff or use the cool scale machine to measure, weigh and ship packages. USPS has competitive rates in many cases.

For Signature Required packages, they like to leave a little pink slip in the mailbox saying I missed the delivery. But I didnt, I was here waiting for it. They never knocked on the door.Probably never even had the package with them, just that slip. I take the slip, type in its article number for redelivery and the website says that service is unavailable.Okay, guess Ill go wait in line 20 minutes to pick up something I paid extra to airmail to my address. Happens all the time too.Thanks DeJoy...

I’ve lived in multiple states and I have never had so many issues with my post office. Since moving to Helena I cannot remember a time that a box showed up on time without an issue. Boxes have showed up with damages, opened and missing contents, simply not show up at all and most of all they are ALWAYS late. Once they have missed their projected delivery they stop updating tracking information all together. The Helena post office is apathetic excuse of a mail delivery service and I do everything in my power to make sure my packages don’t make it into the hands of these criminals.

My mailbox was broken into in the middle of November 2020...here we are at the end of February 2021 and nothing has been done to fix this problem. I want my mail and its your job to deliver it, get the mailbox fixed.

Delivery service is declining. Depends on the carrier on those days my regular carrier is off. When my regular carrier is working, he delivers my mail by 12:00, the other carrier doesnt deliver till 2:00-2:30.

They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and fast.

Absolute trash. This post office needs a floor to ceiling revamp of employees. Especially ones that can read numbers, so they stop putting 33 into 26,52,77 etc. Congratulations on being the biggest joke in town, I hope the post master is proud

I always ship using the US Postal service. Everything always gets delivered on time or before. Staff is awesome and very patient. Its also the most reasonable way to ship. And they are open on Saturdays!

I was supposed to have a package delivered TODAY by 8. And the usps man came by but didn’t bother to give me my package. Not overly happy about it considering this has happened multiple times.

One of the best post offices in the state. Our small company does business with them daily. That being said, online is usually faster with the USPS.

Just spent the last 2 hours on hold just to be told the call center was closed! All I wanted to to was inform them that someone employed by them had opened a mailer addressed to me and stole the coupons from it, then closed it back up and sent it on its way! Opened my American spirit mailer looking forward to saving some money, to find that the portion of the mailer containing the coupons had been ripped off!

After having mail stolen out of my lock box (meaning it could only be the carrier), and then having the carrier lie and say we moved, now they shoved a package in the back of my box that is too big to come out the front without damaging the contents. There is no direct number to the office to get the mail carrier out here to open the box from the back, and not to mention the rest of my mail being torn up because they shoved the package in on top of it! And all because they are too lazy to drop it off at my door. I am sick of the postal service in Helena.

Despite the BIG sign at the front door with instructions to deliver packages to the rear, the delivery person tossed the package into the snow behind the bushes by the front door.

Early mornings are usually without lines. I am pleased with their service and service offerings.

1 hour wait on phone? 5 change of addresses for one place I live & moved into on 3.9.18???Broken urn for my mother who passed in 2014?? Waiting on imports t medical cards that I will probably ha e to chase those down too???

Impossible to get a question answered. The website makes you pick from endless options that have nothing to do what you need. There is over an hour wait time to talk to someone. There is no way to call locally.

This is the only Post Office in Helena you can get General Delivery service.
