3 years ago, you could not have PAID me to let anyone here clean my windshield. However, there’s been a managerial change and with that a new staff...Since Andre, Paul, Ben, and Lawrence have been here, I’ve purchased 2 sets of tires, taken all 4 of my vehicles in for maintenance & even had some major mechanical work done - even had my sister’s car in for an oil change and tire rotation while she was here from Nashville.These guys will be my go-to for ANYTHING factory warranty doesn’t cover for the foreseeable future. I’ll recommend them to anyone!

$1,200 dollars later and my vehicle drives worse that before I brought it here. I brought my vehicle in due to a shake when the vehicle was at 65-70mph, the gentleman working took a look at the vehicle, and proceeded to tell me one of the tires had “warped” (not sure how that happens) and that I would needed all new tires to eliminate the shake. Trusting that he knew what he was talking about I went ahead and purchased a new set of tires. While waiting for them to put the new tires on the vehicle, I get a call (6+ hours later) in which they tell me I need a new a tie rod to get the vehicle properly aligned. I did not have the money at the time, so I waited about a week to get this part replaced. After getting the part replaced I noticed the vehicle pulling very badly to the left when driving, so I brought the vehicle back by (only a day after repair was done) and they tell me it is badly out of alignment, insisting that I must have hit something (which I had not)! They proceeded to try and align it again (3+ hours later) they call me over to explain they can’t get it aligned, and really have no explanation as to why! Now driving the vehicle it pulls to the right and the steering wheel tilts to the right when driving straight! I don’t have any more days to wait for this place to keep giving me the run around, the vehicle drove perfectly straight when I brought it in here the first time, just a slight shake.....now I have a worse problem, and I paid over $1,200 dollars for them to make it worse; and honestly I feel the vehicle is a safety issue because of how badly it pulls (first to the left and now to the right)! Incredibly dissatisfied, and will not be visiting any of their locations ever again!!I just want my vehicle to drive straight......

They were able to get me in quickly, but charged me $20 more than I was quoted at their sister store a few miles away.

They diagnosed my car and were very helpful and kind I quit going to this location even though I live in Helena many years ago and drove to the Pelham location for service because I was dissatisfied The Helena location has an improved staff I am so glad

This remains the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Bought tires 11 months ago, they now have 8000 miles on them. Right front tire had a bleb in the sidewall. They stated to me that I ran over a railroad track too fast. Tire was covered under roadside hazard warranty. But they stated that for the new Tire I would have to purchase an additional warranty for it. The old Warranty only had 8000 miles of use out of the 50,000. They refused to transfer the old warranty to the new tire. Cost me more money for a new warranty. Called Customer Service left a message, no return call. Emailed twice, no return. Called the franchise owner, left a message, no return call.Only reason I went back to this location was because my Warranty was with them.Went to leave, and the new tire, they had put on, was over-pressurized. I had to pull back in and have them fix the tire pressure.Would not recommend you use for oil change or tires. Worst customer service ever. Do not recommend. Stay away from!!!

They dont keep tires at the store, which is fairly normal, but the shop in Helena, Alabama would not even order any unless you bring the car by to look at it first. Ridiculous! All they should ever need to know is the model/year of the car. There should be no need to make two trips.

I’m not sure where to even begin with this review. I just finished up with a visit at the Helena location for an oil change on my vehicle (4/29/20). And as it stands, it will be the last time I use this location and the company as a whole for the remainder of my time owning and driving vehicles. I pull into bay one (corporate I suggest you look at records for this bay on this date for the employee working) and I pop the hood and the gentleman begins going on under his breath how hot it is while pulling the dipstick out to check level. Meanwhile his protege in the pit starts on about hot the motor is and how hot it’s making the pit where he’s at. The gentleman in the pit begins to go on a diatribe of how much heat is coming off the engine, I apologized as I had just got in from a 1 hour drive and I’m assuming that would be the cause of the heat, not from something faulty as the vehicle isn’t even 2 years old. The gentleman in the pit continues on and on about it and keeps popping off what he thinks are sly and cute remarks I suppose. If I were to make a list of the foul language he used, it would be a shorter list of language he didn’t use. His last remark was “clear, he can go drive another hour now!”. One would think the manager would at least say something to the gentleman since he was standing right there as all this went on, but no completely quiet. If this is what Express Oil Change thinks is professional service, they need to re-evaluate their structure. I’ve taken multiple vehicles to this location for years and even when I have free oil changes left at my dealership from this vehicle purchase, I chose to support a local branch in Helena where I live. But not a single one of my vehicles will ever pull into that location or any other location ever again. You would think paying $95.00 for an oil change you would get a little better quality out of the people providing that. As a side note, I get home and get out of my vehicle and see oil smeared all down my front bumper. It’s a white vehicle so it’s quite obvious and now I have to clean that off as well.

Every time I go to have service done to one of my many vehicles, which can vary from oil change electronics engine belt repair even brakes. Tire Engineers in Helena Al by far superceed the service expectation each and every time. Andre the Manager is awesome Ben and the rest of the crew are super nice knowledgeable and professional at all times!!!!

This place is great . I take my family vehicles here a lot as we stay close by Chris our technician was excellent. All of these guys are super cool and kind.

These guys work fast and make sure you know what youre getting. You wont pay for anything you didnt ask for, and if they discover something you might need along the way, theyll be sure to ask first. Everyone Ive talked to is very kind, and like I said, they work fast! I was in and out in under 15 minutes with a replacement wiper, oil change, and tires inflated. Cant recommend them enough!

I was having trouble getting to my regular oil change business for service for an oil change because changed their hrs. I called Express on my way home from work to ask if I could come on my way home. They took me in just like that! I am relieved have my problem solved and have my car ready for the winter months, all in.under 30-45 mns Paying extra for oil changes are worth it for fast and efficient service! Thanks

I called to find out how much they would charge me to change two flat tires, and I was quoted a price that was $20 higher than the Express Oil on Morgan Road. I had already purchased [from another place] the two new tires and they were already mounted on two new rims, so this was just a simple tire change. $60 is ridiculously high for that..

Andre and John are wonderful! Each time we pass by the location My two year old daughter says, “Oil change mommy, oil change, and water water”. Andre gave her a cold bottle of water while we were waiting and it meant the world to her! When your two year old wants to get an oil change everyday that right there tells you it’s an awesome place!

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. It was my first time here. Once they finished the oil change they took one look at my tires, and knew they were no longer safe to drive on. I knew they were getting close to needing to be changed, I’d had them for five years. They helped me choose safe, well priced, new tires. I never felt pressured to buy, and I could tell they were genuinely concerned about my safety over selling me things. I had a wonderful experience, and I’ll be taking my car here from now on!

When I have been to this location in the past, I had terrible service! The previous mechanic would smoke around and in my car. He was rude and had zero customer service skills. I decided to give the Helena location a second chance and I was pleasantly surprised. The new mechanic, “Sims” is awesome. He was thorough and fair. He explained and answered any questions I had. This guy makes this shop worth going to!

Came here twice now for mechanical issues, both times they were able to figure out the problem and fix pretty quickly.

Not only is the location convenient to my home, but the service is consistently fantastic each time I take the car here for service. I have to brag on the Helena location. I live in Helena, but I will ONLY come to this location because of Joshua. He hustles, he is professional and always extremely thorough, which I appreciate. If you want someone to do a GOOD job and make sure your car is running smoothly, come see Joshua. I hope management sees this so they can congratulate him! Also, I really like the manager; he makes sure his staff is always taking care of everyone!

This was my first tree time here. Normally.my husband does all the car stuff but I was a little passed the milage for my next oil change. The new manager did awesome getting me in and out, talking with me about what was going on and what was recommended with the warranty of my car. Highly recommend Express in Helena. Great, friendly people and service. Best part for me was, he said War Eagle as soon as he walked up to my window!!!

This Express Oil location is the best! They always have me in and out quickly but they do a very thorough job. I’m always asked if I have coupons & if I don’t they try to accommodate me with a discount. Whether it be Ladies Day Tuesday’s or AAA discount or Express Oil coupons, I’m usually covered!

I went by a couple of hours before work one day because my car was wobbling as I drove. The mechanics their quickly found the problem and fixed it all before I had to leave for work. I defiantly recommend this location. All mechanics knew what they were doing and provided quick and friendly service.

Both times ive been here ive had a bad time. Came to get an oil change and the guy had so much attitude. Im pretty laid back and i wouldnt have said anything about that except now im here just got my brakes done, been here 2 hours and the manager tells me hes ready for payment. 10 minutes later im still standing there with the person whos paying on the phone while the guy services every car in the shop. I try to catch his eye like hey the guy whos paying is on the phone and hes super rude and says i need to go wait even though im doing exactly what he said when he said. 15 minutes after that im still sitting here trying to pay so i can get my car back. Express? Yea right. Rude and slow.

I absolutely would recommend going anywhere else! I had a slow leak in my tire and came here to have it replaced. They told me it didnt need replaced, that a patch would fix the tire. The people charged me almost $30 to patch my tire that when I came out the next day was completely flat. Had they listened to me the first time I asked to have it replaced this would not have happened. So I call when I find my flat tire to see if I can come back and have it fixed or replaced. Bosco or Roscoe whoever answered the phone said sorry, we close on 4 minutes. I called back and Paul answered who was helpful...but I still am very unhappy and still am stuck at home with a flat tire. Please go anywhere else!

Yesterday I came in to check on whether I would need antifreeze and Joshua helped me. He was very polite and efficient in determining if I needed an oil change. He said I only needed some coolant and did not not charge me for looking under the hood as permitted by his friendly Supervisor. I have been getting my oil changed to your since we moved to Helena in 2013. I still have my original resident card where you get $5 off your oil change. Mines you they are super expensive but theyre also super quick super good at what they do and why go sit all day at the dealership when you can just sit in your car with your child or your dog and play on your cell phone while they ask you a few questions and then they tap you out and ready to go.

Theyre always polite and get the job done quick, the only problem I have is theyre a little pricey. Theyre cheaper than other places around here, and Tuesday I believe, is ladys day, all women get 5$ off theyre purchases(send your girlfriend, sister or mom it works; ) but Ill go to them first or do it myself if I can or know how.Anyway, they are a great company, they get the job done right and fast and theyre always smiling and pleasant people to be around. Very clean and warm environment.

The mechanics who work there really care about honestly telling you what you need instead of the highest priced thing they can get away with. They do the job as quickly as they can and still do it right the first time. I highly recommend Express.

I needed new tires for my Camry and my Ford Escape. I went in to Tire Express in Helena and worked with Taylor and all of my fears and hesitation about the tire buying process went away. I am so grateful to have worked with Taylor and his team because I was able to give him the budget I was working with and he was able to still provide a high quality product which worked for both of us. Too often you leave a car dealership or mechanic feeling like you’ve been duped or taken advantage of but working with Taylor it felt like an actual business relationship. Because of this guy and the service we received I have no problems taking my business to this company in the future.
