This was actually my first experience at a real barber after keeping my hair long most of my life. And let me tell you, Ed is the man- I walked in and waited a couple of hours (you should get an appointment) because Ed was so meticulous and detail oriented with his work on the clients before me. When it was my turn I got the same treatment, very focused work, he cut me up so good I was getting compliments from the ladies when I went out! Sheesh, definitely gonna be my barber for a good while. And- Even if you walk in, it’s worth the wait 100% only heard good about the other barbers at the shop as well

Seated immediately and got a great cut. Done pretty quick, but with no sacrifice to quality. Great attention to detail with their cuts.

I was looking for a barber in the Hawthorne area. I found Mario on Yelp, he had great reviews. If your looking for an experienced barber Mario is your guy. He left my hair looking fresh. Safe to say I found my permanent barber.

Let me just say this, Ed is an awesome barber. He has been cutting my husband hair for 12years.. hubby wont let anyone else cut his hair but Ed- also we now live in Santa Clarita and still drive for him for hair cuts. And as far as the past two years he has started cutting our sons hair who is four years old.These people who are complaining about poor customer service have absolutely no idea how shops work, and feel as soon as they walk in they should be serviced up front.. it doesnt work that way..sorry but not Sorry. How about you make an appointment, like the rest of the loyal customers that go there..you think because you dont see someone there, that an apt hasnt been made for an aloted time..sadly your way wrong.. get your mind right please. So, your saying, if you have a doc apt at 930am..but some walks in at 915am, and they just come first😕...What planet yall live on?? You would be livid and want to cuss someone out for the fact you had an apt and now someone has taken your time from you... Stooooooopppp iiiiitttttttLook, this shop has excellent customer service, there are four different barbers to choose from,As I said the owner is our barber, and he even has an appointment app you can use to see what times and days are available so can get your schedule rightly booked.Dont listen to these one star haters...they living in a delusional mind space... Where all they see is their needs being met.Please dont hesitate to go to this shop, just understand that there is a right and wrong way to perceive situations...but there is never anything wrong with asking questions for clear understanding 😉

From all the barber shops Ive visited in the surrounding area, this is by far my favorite. The quality of the hair cut and customer service were both exceptional. I would totally recommend this barber shop to anyone - young or adult! Ask for Ed, my personal favorite barber!

I made 2 trips to this barbershop for my sons head. First day a guy told me they were done for that day to come back the next day they will open at 10am. I said ok came back the next day where there was only one barber in there now he tells me there not taking no more people that day because he had about 4 heads in there. Yeah they may have good reviews but very dissatisfied with the service and the come back the next day statement.

I came here looking to get a haircut, but I guess they were too busy, because the 2 barbers stated that they had customers waiting but I didnt see anyone in the barbershop, anyways I left. Poor customer service.

They’ll do you right. They ask before doing it. Instead of assuming they ask which is a quality most barbershops don’t have.

You can never get anyone on the phone their turn over is a joke and when you walk in to stay and see someone they give you an attitude. Dont leave you teenager there they made him wait 3 hours. There are too many shops to have bad customer service in Hawthorne.

Going back for sure. Quality of cuts is superve and Familia atmosphere cant be matched.
