This apartments are really great. I had an apartment on the second floor. The complex remained very clean and safe. It’s close to USM campus, so it was easy for me as a student. The property manager is amazing. Whenever we had a problem with anything, we could talk to her about it and she’d do whatever she could to fix it. We felt very safe and taken care of.

I took a tour with the manager of the apartments and had an awesome experience! She was professional and knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding area, as well as, highlights in the community that may interest my family. I highly recommend this company for your housing needs!

I told Southgate Realty and the Community Manager of 2 Square Apartments that I needed a place to live by 5/23/18. They had me pay $375. Although they had multiple apartments that I could have viewed, they refused to show any of them to me. The Community Manager even rented some out while I was waiting to view mine.  Some units are still vacant. When I finally got to view the apartment, it was dirty with different live bugs. The apartment smelled bad. The closet had a water stain on the ceiling. Spider webs were also visible on the ceilings. The counter tops looked like they had never been cleaned and were cracked. The wooden stairs are in need of a repair too. They told me I could look at their other properties also. I told the Community Manager that I would call her back shortly.  I called 5 or 6 times before the 23rd. However, the Community Manager refused to answer her phone. Because the Community Manager refused to pick up her phone, I had to scramble and drive 1 hour and 30 minutes to find another apartment realty so I would have a place to live. This company takes peoples money but doesnt hold their end of the deal. They are professional scammers. Now that the 23rd has passed, the Community Manager is acting like she is desperately trying to find me.  They are thieves.Update: The company said they would refund my money. However, that was another lie. I still havent received any money from them. Its a good thing I have it in writing. I had to get a third party involved to deal with this fraudulent company. Beware of them!
