Both times I went I was very pleased by the results. Ill be going back their with my family for our next hair cuts. The barbers here are very well skilled and excellent at their jobs. When I did have to wait my sons and I loved playing on the chess sets and watching on their many TV sets all around the shop. But above all leaving with the feeling of money well spent. I’m a person that thrives off reviews of a business and I think that the Barber Studio needs a review. More specifically Thomas Pearson needs a review. Not only did I receive the best haircut in Hattiesburg by him, he was a great individual to spend an hour with. We conversed the entire time and he was super chill to talk to. Thomas heard what kinda haircut I wanted, but he basically analyzed my head like some robot and decided I needed a haircut slightly different and I couldn’t have been happier with the result. Not only is he confident in changing what I wanted, but he’s confident that I’d like it better. He’s an amazing barber and he deserves your business! I’ll definitely be returning to him.

The Barbers Studio is the best place to go for a haircut in Mississippi. Ive been going there since September, and the two times Ive had my haircut I fail to be disappointed.My barber is Gunner, and both times hes cut my hair he performed amazingly, he exceeded expectations.I think that besides their talented workers, their building and service really creates a homey and comfortable vibe, and I really feel comfortable while Im there.Overall, to me there is no flaws with the Barber Studio, and I definitely recommend it if youre looking for a nice fade.5/5!

This has been my barber shop that I get my haircut at. Thomas Pearson is my barber and I will not go to another barber studio because he always knows how I want my haircut before he turns the clippers on. Greatness is inside his hands!! Barber studio is the best!!!!

Bennie has a beautiful shop with professional 15 barbers and chairs. The shop is huge! A very clean establishment and I was lucky enough to get in the same day with him. Honestly, I’d trust all his barbers since the haircuts coming out of here are amazing. Well worth the visit. Trinity does an amazing job cutting my boyfriends hair. His mother is a hair stylist so he was anxious about having someone else cut his hair but Trinity was confident, friendly, and very easy to talk to. We have been back a few times and now we book with her regularly. She even cut another family members hair and they loved it too! Definitely will return to see Trinity whenever he needs a haircut.

When I first visited this barbershop, I was welcomed in a very courteous manner. The barber who served me that day asked me how I wanted my hair cut, and worked very patiently and professionally with my descriptions (which werent the clearest unfortunately). I greatly appreciated his service, and each of the other barbers I tried out also served in such a professional and friendly manner! I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

This barber studio is probably the best studio Ive ever gone in the U.S. I am kinda of difficult Asian person about haircut, but Thomas just did excellent job for my desired haircut. It was even better than I expected. Little expensive for a student, but worth to try if you want your desired haircut.

Good service. I feel that majority of their proceeds go into their look instead of the quality of their cuts. If youre a college student I highly recommend that you find cheaper prices elsewhere, because they charge $21 for a line up. The superficiality of the shop exceeds the talent and skills possessed by the professionals.

Its the best place in Hattiesburg to get a quick cut for a good price. Barbers are super friendly and they have plenty of TVs so you want get bored waiting. And the atmosphere is good for families.

Just moved here and got a perfect fade from these guys. After seeing the cuts they produce I felt confident that all the barbers would do a good job. This will be the only place I go from now on. Fade was off and he cut hair that shouldnt have been cut. Pretty much just a rush job. The owner was doing a cut while I was waiting and still working it while I was getting mine cut. My cut was finished and this guy was still getting his perfected.

I am sure if you are the master barber or if you have an appointment with an experienced barber you will give this shop 5 stars and I also saw everyone coming out of there have great fades. I am making my review based on walk-ins. I went in and asked for a cut the only person available was a girl but it seemed like she knew what she was doing..... guess again you can see several lines in my fade it looks awful. I got back and showed my buddy, he then said she did his hair to and messed his hard part up. Please do not walk-in here try to get an appointment with an experienced barber.

Staff is always pretty friendly. Last time I went (2nd time altogether), I had a newer barber. I shave my head, so all I really go in for is to get my beard trimmed and lined up - because I like the lines from a straight razor. . The newer guy was tasked with trimming it MUCH shorter than its been in quite some time, and I had to point out several things that he missed or that were not even on both sides. . He had no issue fixing what he could, but there was also a spot at the very bottom/underside of my beard where it had been made uneven and cut into pretty badly. I didnt panic and he was able to make it less obvious, but he insisted that it was already like that when I came in and I KNOW that it wasnt - as I am VERY particular with my beard and simply know it wasnt like that already. It wasnt a huge deal and I still tipped him, but I guess it was just the principle of him not owning up to his error that didnt settle right with me. Perhaps thats why he charged less than the guy did the time before even though he cut more off and did more work than the first barber did.

I walked in this place a while back and sat down. The barbers looked at me like I was stupid and said harshly “we don’t take walk-ins”, so I said “alright man”, then after 15 seconds of awkward silence I walked out. Nothing special, just very uncomfortable.

I swear, I almost gave up trying to find a decent haircut here but a friend recommended The Barber Studio and I will definitely be back. Not just a decent haircut, but a great one!Great haircuts, great prices, and great employees! I especially like that you can reserve an appointment online (Booksteam). The extra benefit of this is that, no matter what, they will dedicate a full 30 minutes to your haircut. No rushing you out the door (*ahem Supercuts *cough).Other facts: mens haircut is only $20. They have a good-sized TV to watch when waiting. Even if youre not quite sure what haircut you want but just want to try something new, they work with you and can help you out.
