They completed work as quoted, on time and very courteous, professional and friendly. I knew what to expect from the beginning and they were true to their word. Received my vehicle back on Friday after a transmission work, Sunday my car would not start, they had it towed on Monday and was a new issue that they fixed same day after assessment. Very happy with their service.

Had a bearing seize on my trailer, had it towed to A&D. They were very professional and courteous in every call. I am happy with my result. They took ownership of the issue, as well as some other minor damage related to the angles needed to get the trailer off a flatbed. Would absolutely recommend.

Just AWESOME! My BAL 5.3 electric jack and leveling system stopped working. Called A&D for an appointment and they were booked! WeLeave in 2 days for a week long trip. Roy ran down the electrical diagram over the phone and the said “I’ll be right out”. 10 minutes later he was in my driveway. It wasn’t the fuse but a relay plug. He had it working again in no time AND THEN refused to charge me. I had to convince him to take some cash, at least for his gas if nothing else! Very polite. Professional and knowledgeable! I have taken my car there twice. Both times I felt secure in knowing I was being treated right and that A & D stands behind their repairs. I felt safe as a woman, that they were being honest and upfront with me. I dont know much about cars, so I had them talk to my son. They told him the exact things they told me. They even broke it down into words I understood and fully explained the work they did. They gave me a loner vehicle, and had me done in 1 day. They may be a little pricey, but the honesty, the quality work, and the kindness of the employees is worth every penny.

My husband and I broke down on the highway and a cop who came to our rescue suggested A & D. He said they did good work. We were on our way home to the Chicago area from a family party in MI over the holiday weekend. We were surprised to find that they were open and despite being very busy they were able to squeeze us in. All of the people that worked there were extremely nice to us and they let us sit in the waiting room with our dog. The manager even looked for a treat to give her. Im sure it can be frustrating to take on additional work when you are already busy but no one treated us as though we were an annoyance.They showed us the issue. It was a rather large fix but they were able to give us a temporary fix to get us back on our way home. They did not have to do this but we are very grateful they did. I will definately use them again when I am in town and will refer friends and family in the area to their business. Everyone was professional and super friendly.I was even impressed with the restroom!

These guys are great! Everyone was in great spirit and very personal. Great conversation and fast service. Got myself into a situation where i needed a bearing pressed out and in, trying to be a nice guy and help a buddy out, well of course it started raining. With the combinations of not having the correct tools to get the job done, the rain getting all my tools soaked and my buddy lives an hour away i was definitely in a bad spot. I have a classic Cheve. Camaro that required service to the Brake system the work was performed very effectively plus they also repaired leakage on valve cover gaskets and a speedometer cable seal .I recommend A & D for quality work

The best shop I have ever had the privilege to deal with, they were always on our side when dealing with the warranty company who seemed to fight every little thing for two wholeMonths. Always detailed and thorough updates, and overall I always had the feeling we could trust them with our families best interests. In this situation the warranty company made them jump through hoop after hoop when they clearly had all the right information, documentation of every symptom and proof, after sending out inspectors and sending pictures they finally were able to get through to them and got our vehicle fixed. Always will recommend these guys, truly a blessing the way they fought for us.

I had the Ford dealer tune up my truck and it still didnt run right. Took it to A&D and they found the dealer didnt tighten the spark plugs down and also recommended a few things the dealer did not. They do a great job making sure things are done right.

One of my power windows would not go back up. The cost for a new mortar was way out of my price range to be able to fix. They got the window back up and screwed it in so it would hold until I can get it fixed. And they did not charge me anything!! That was amazing! I’m a single mom and they saved me by at least getting my window held back up. I had heard good things about this place and boy were they true! Thank you so so much! I can not say enough good things about this place. I have a grooming van and its my livelihood. They have listened to me about what I am feeling when driving the van without making me feel like they are too busy. They explain things to me so I understand. They fix things correctly. I have had a few minor problems during my days grooming and bring it in and they get it fixed. I really feel they care about everyone and their vehicles when they come in and want to help. A&D Repair did a really good job identifying and fixing the source of an abnormally loud noise from my SUV. I was worried that it could have been an engine issue, but they were able to identify it as an issue with my resonator. I was quoted at a reasonable price, and they did not try to upsell or persuade me into other fixes or repairs. They were honest about what the issue was, answered all of my questions, and were even forthcoming about being able to get service/parts cheaper elsewhere but that they stood by their quality parts and service. The decision to have my vehicle fixed at A&D Repair was the correct one, and I will return as a loyal customer.

We recently had to get rid of a car, and the guys at A&D reminded us that they do pre-purchase inspections of used cars. We already planned to buy a car from a trusted source, but the inspection showed us repairs we should do right away, as well as recommended service for down the line. Even though we trusted the source of the used car, this review made us much more comfortable in the purchase as we now know what to look for. Buying a used car can be filled with anxiety, but this service by A&D helped us have confidence in our decision.

I got in an (injury-free) accident with significant damage to the car. Auto shops terrify me because I have been hood-winked before. I took my car to 3 different places, and finally chose A&D Repair.Once Chris got into my car, he discovered a lot more damage, so the insurance company chose to total the car. At this point, I would think most body shops would think their work was done and walk away.But not Chris. When he realized I was stressing about the insurance companys offered settlement, he offered to read it through and help me understand what the crazy long document was saying. And that wasnt all. He advised me in how to negotiate a fairer offer in so many ways -- sending me more accurate fairer auto comps which showed me how to do the research myself, giving me wording to use in my emails and phone conversations, encouraging me to push for a fair settlement, writing a letter to support my claim, etc etc etc. In essence, he was my cheering section from beginning to end. He did all this knowing hed get nothing out of all that effort -- he was just being kind.Oh! And he also responded to each of my calls/emails very promptly -- I can only imagine he would be even more meticulous if he were actually doing a repair job for us.I wish I had work for Chris to do for us. But with a totaled car, I dont. All I can do is encourage everyone and anyone to use A&D Repair. They demonstrated that they arent in the business just for the money.

I have known Dan Goodnoe for over 40 years. I know him from our Army days when he was a Battalion Motor Sergeant in charge of all wheeled and mechanize vehicles. I have been looking for a reliable new repair shop after losing my mechanic I have used for over 40 years. A friend recommended A&D Repair and I have been very happy with the repair work I have received on my two vehicles. I really like the two year guarantee they give on their work.

When I had to have my engine redone they gave me a car to drive for the weeks it took to fix my car and didnt charge for the car. They also set me up with a payment plan so I could pay it off little by little each month. This is a great company and have an excellent team who are kind, funny and make you feel like part of their family. Prices are fair, work done is excellent and they are just a really nice bunch of guys to work with to help you solve whatever problem your car is having so whats not to like!

I will always take my car here because I trust them with it which is hard to find. While repairs are somewhat pricey I know they are good parts and will last. Really nice employees here with great customer service experience. I know when I take my car here I have nothing to worry about and they will take great care of it. These mechanics really know what they are doing which is very visible from the way they talk to you and the way they are able to take care of your car. We had some small bubbles forming under the paint on the hood. I used A&D for several repairs on my car because I appreciated the convenience of their loaner vehicles. However, when my coolant light started blinking, I took it in again to fix it. They told me that my water pump needed to be replaced for $1300. When I picked it up, the coolant light was still blinking! They looked at it again and said that my head gasket was blown. They said they would give me a deal and replace it for only $1000-1200.I wanted a second opinion, so I took it to a different shop, which replaced the coolant reservoir for $165. Problem solved, and my head gasket showed no problems at this other shop. This other mechanic told me that my water pump may have been unnecessarily replaced, and that A&D had a current law suit with another client for faulty brakes. I dont trust them after this. Buyers beware.I imagine if A&D responds to this review, theyll say that they stand by their work and will show me how my head gasket is messed up, as they told me this when I called and complained. But I think its very interesting and upsetting that another repair shop found no such problem and that they fixed my problem for $165, not $2500.

Absolutely the best service possible! They are so friendly and take the time to know your name. I have been coming here for a few years and I have been impressed everytime with the service. It is speedy, always reasonably priced, and they take the time to make sure you understand what is going on with your car. I have never felt cheated here, which is a common complaint with other repair shops. You can tell they are good, honest people who enjoy what they do.

Sam, Eric and their crew did an amazing job on our motor home. They treated it as if they owned it. I was very happy with the front end alignment. Their new alignment rack and their skills and persistence got the excessive wind sway out of the steering. and the brakes are like or better then when the rig was new. The tune up on the V-10 got me more power and better gas mileage. their attention to detail. was very appreciated.I was so impressed I took my work truck there. for an alignment, tire balance and other work cause if I trusted them with my motor home then I can trust them with my work truck.

They wanted to charge me $2000 for brakes that I got done for $900 somewhere else. Tried to discuss this with them and their response is that they do better work and their shop is in a better area. Buyer beware. They will take you to the cleaners if you dont do your due dilligence.

A friend recommended this shop last week when I was at my wits end with my local Jeep dealer. They immediately set my mind at ease, treated me like a customer they cared about, and tracked down my tricky wiring issue when the stealership and several shops much closer to me wouldnt touch it. I own a boat and trailer and my trailer was hit at the Lake Lansing launch and the tail lights were hit and broken. I had some help by a great neighbor to replace the lights. However, one light was not fully corrected so I visited A and D repair for the first time and stopped in at 7:15 am on a Monday am when they were busy. I was given immediate help and the problem was fixed so I could travel safely. They spent about 20 mins with me to assure the electrical was set and then they didnt charge me!! To top it off, one of the guys there drove me back home to help me back the trailer into the driveway!! I live very close to the shop. I will use them again and recommend them highly.

Had a AC repair done $600 for a AC controller, lasted all of three hours, wouldnt stand behind work even though they agreed part failed. Made no effort to get supplier to stand behind part just told me from two or three phone calls they werent getting anywhere with them. I called supplier since I was the one that found the part after another repair station told me it was the controller but couldnt find the part. I google the part found a supplier in Grand Rapids and they had a link to A and D repair to install. I called the supplier in Grand Rapids the concurred the had sent the part to A and D and they would stand behind the part. I ask them to send to me since A and D had no interest in taking care of problem. They mailed Friday and I received Monday. Sam was great to work with until he had to stand behind his work he certainly knows his stuff. Im a maintenance instructor for an Airline so we both understood the platform we were talking about. I just wont be returning to a facility that wont stand behind there work more than three hours. I certainly didnt receive the same treatment from the supplier he claimed to get.

I walk in and asked if they can weld some metal part. They not only welded, but also painted it to look nice! Gave me some heavy duty bolts that were related to the project and all free!

This business is awesome! They have helped us multiple times with our motorhome and we were back to camping! I even called them from out of state and they walked me through a temporary fix until we could get back home!

I was recently referred to A&D Repair in Haslett by a friend after begrudgingly accepting poor service and inaccurate / costly advice from a local dealer. I rarely write reviews for products or business, but this is an instance where I feel compelled to make an exception. While I have only been in a few times, I have received thoughtful and well-reasoned advice and recommendations from their staff and technicians regarding my vehicle. They have been able to accurately identify what problems need to be addressed in the near future and what service can wait all while providing fair estimates and excellent customer service. I should have started taking my car here a long time ago. This is the only place I will be taking my car to get serviced as long as I reside in the greater Lansing area!

I have taken my 40 Class A motor home, 2007 GMC Envoy, and 2005 Chrysler Town & Country van to A & D Repair for a multitude of different problems. All were completed in a timely manner and at extremely reasonable cost. Two of the repairs were at least $100 or more less than the original estimate. When the motor home was ready for pickup I had just been recently released from having surgery and was unable to drive. The Owners of A & D Repair delivered it and parked it right where I wanted it. Now that is customer service. When picking up the other two vehicles they had been washed, vacuumed, and an air freshener hung from the mirror. The staff are all professional, friendly, and honest.

Nobody enjoys getting vehicle work done and the costs it can sometimes consist of. My car is ten years old and Ive never had to do anything to it outside of regular maintenance. Its reached an age that it needs some upgrades and I need to form a relationship with a repair place. I chose A&D soley based on these google reviews. I was very nervous going in and I just didnt want to be taken advantage of. As it turned out, this place is great. I absolutely loved the feature of texting me a link to my inspection with everything prioritized from what needs immediate attention, to things I should have upgraded in the future at my leisure. I had them take care of the immediate needs which was 2 new tires, replacing a control arm with ball joint, replacing rear springs and then a 4 wheel alignment. I asked around and it seems I paid an average price, but feel like i got above average service and quality. They even thought of the small things and vacuumed and cleaned my car which was just icing on the cake. And my car drives like it did when it was new. Im very impressed and i certainly feel my money was well spent. Ill definitely be returning to take care of the minor things that could use some attention in the future. Great job!

Their troubleshooting was spot-on and fast, they fixed my car and had it back to me in one day.My husbands car, they said: well you definitely need this one repair, but we wont know if you need the other repair until we do the first one. EVERY other mechanic Ive ever dealt with would have simply said: you need these two repairs.A+ for integrity, skill, courtesy, speed.Edit: alas, theyve gone down the road of every car repair place. All about selling you repairs you dont need, not willing to take responsibility for their mistakes.

I brought in a car at about 11 am that needed its brakes replaced, oil changed, and the wheel bearing replaced. The car belonged to my friend and was completely undriveable. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it by 5pm that same day so that my friend could drive home from Lansing to Grand Rapids instead of being stranded. It was super impressive!! Everyone was really friendly too.

Dan, Sam and all the guys here are great; Ive been going for years and am sorry everytime I choose to go to the dealer instead of A&D. Not only do they fix your car; but the prices are much better than the dealer for a Ford product. They fix your car as quickly as possible; they keep to their appointment times. Best of all, for a non-mechanic person, they answer questions over the phone and I have called during emergencies when I was out-of-state and they give me helpful advice. I am moving shortly, but will continue to have my SUV serviced by the guys at A & D.

I was on my way to get hay with my 3 horse trailer and on my way up an expressway overpass, my trailer jumped of my hitch (totally user error). It was a frightening place to have this happen. It was a very busy road and we were on an incline on top of it. Fortunately, I was right between home and A&D Repair, who have worked on my trailer and trucks for several years so they were my first call. Eric came right over, assessed my situation, helped me get the trailer back on the hitch (properly) and made sure we were safe to continue. He was kind enough to do this without charge. I am so grateful for their speedy help so we could get off the road and out of harms way.Even without this situation we have been so happy to have them available to take care of all of our vehicle needs from body work, glass repair, mechanical work and anything that our horse trailer has ever needed. Now on top of all their normal work, they were kind enough to help me out of a bad situation that wasnt a part of their normal routine. Couldnt recommend them enough!

The folks here have high integrity. I brought a utility trailer in for rewiring and wheel bearings. They provided a courtesy inspection of the trailer and found that the unit needed a new axle. Rather than doing the work and charging me, they recommended not to do the work due to rust damage to the axle. This damage was not visible unless you were under the trailer. They saved me a lot since I was about to take the trailer on a long trip and could have experienced a breakdown along the way. Thanks folk.

Eric and his team do excellent work. They did a beautiful reconstruction of our bunk area in our motor home. They do excellent follow up on their repairs. I would recommend them.

I strongly recommend AandD Auto Repair for any auto service repair and auto body work. They have been servicing my vehicles for several years. They are friendly, honest people who do excellent work at very reasonable prices. I recently purchased a used vehicle and took it to AandD for an inspection. Eric Goodnoe immediately put the vehicle up on the hoist and thoroughly checked the vehicle. He noticed a small rust spot under the transmission mount. He cleaned and fixed the spot and gave me assurance I purchased a good vehicle. I trust and respect Eric and his crew for all they do for me and my family.

Sam and his staff are very friendly and professional. They were honest about the work that needed to get done and didnt try to oversell me on repairs that were unnecessary or could wait. They got me in immediately and completed all the repairs quickly to get me back on the road as soon as possible. They even gave me a ride to and from the shop so I didnt have to get a taxi. Honest auto repair is a difficult thing to find, but I have definitely found it with A&D. Thanks guys!

We broke down on the side of the highway in the middle of the night and had our van towed there and left the keys and they had a full diagnostic report ready an hour after they opened and got us back on the road to finish our journey by early afternoon! Excellent service at A&D. Roy was awesome!! There was some incorrect setup of HID headlight in my car, with a quick look he fixed it then and there.
