They got paid from the insurance company already I gave them the chimney contractors. Kept giving them updates on what was going on now after the mason finished the roof they are not calling me back at all. Do not use this company if you want things to be completed or a simple call back!!!

They showed up when they said and they stayed in constant communication. Cheryl and Wayne and the rest of their A team did a fantastic, fast and efficient job on a huge mess that I had. I appreciated the phone calls letting me know they were on their way. Cheryl was able to explain things to me so I would understand and I felt that she was compassionate to what I was going through. I was impressed with the overall service that the Mellon professionals provided me in my time of need.

The people I worked with were very friendly, the work was done well for the most part. However, there is NO communication! I am 6 months out and the work is not complete. The last I heard from them was 5 weeks ago when they received my partial payment. I held back money in case I had to hire someone else to fix one of the lights they installed that does not work. I had a flurry of phone calls and texts that day, assuring me they would have a solution by the following week. Previous to that, it was a month since I had any communication with them. I was led to believe that they would be able to start work quickly after my insurance agreed to repairs that needed to be done after I had a flood in my basement. Over 2 months later they finally began. I would be told I would hear from them by mid-week...the following week I would call to be told Oh, you were on my list to call today. This was a repeated occurrence. When they finally began the work, there was little to no communication about when they would arrive. I would wait for hours before someone showed up each day. My first thing in the morning and their first thing in the morning were very different! And on several days I was told that someone was coming, and no one showed at all. This was an emergency repair, not a planned remodel. I have some future planned remodels and do NOT plan to call on Mellon Certified! And I am now searching for an electrician to come finish the work they have not fixed.

Mellon was referred to me by my home insurance after my toilet overflowed and ran all night. Shirl and Wayne came out the same morning and immediately began the process of removing the wet and damaged material and drying the rooms. Sheril and Carrie from Mellon came to my house as soon as they could after I had a small house fire. Both of them went well beyond what we had expected to clear out the damaged room, clean the contents of the house, the walls, ceiling, furniture, and carpets.They kept us informed of the status of the cleaning every step of the way and their time table. Shirl Hunter has been to our house 4 times. Each time she has brought with her a competent crew to move furniture out of our basement, put it back in our basement then move it out again so carpet could be installed and today moved everything back into our basement. She is kind, thoughtful, competent. knowledgeable, respected our furniture and is extremely helpful. She was the calm during this storm. I really liked having her here each time. She would call to say when she was coming and arrive at that exact time. My husband and I are very pleased and would highly recommend them in any restoration project. Well, when I found out about my basement flooding I was devastated.... I didn’t know what to do or how to start to deal with the situation. My responders names were Shirl & Wayne! They were very professional and did all that they could do to help. They used commercial equipment to dry my basement. We are extremely happy with the work Eli and Shirl did in restoring our kitchen and basement from water damage. Both were very professional, meticulous and went beyond just getting it done. Eli showed great pride and craftsmanship in his drywall and trim work and did the little extras to make it look professional. We would highly recommend these two.

Wayne and Shirl arrived promptly to my house on Friday night, after I called the company due to water leak damage in the basement. They kept me informed of the job they were doing and explained the process of restoration. They came back during the weekend to check the level of moisture and to remove the equipment right after completing the job. Both of them were professional and respectful.

A few weeks ago I had a small fire in my condo. My insurance company contracted with Mellon to perform the restoration work. Matt did an excellent job providing USAA with a timely estimate. The restoration work took 3 days to complete and I couldnt be more pleased with the level of care and professionalism from Shirl Hunter and Jade. They did such a thorough job with the cleaning and really took care of my items. The need for restoration work usually arises from some kind of traumatic experience. I think Shirl and Jade understood this and they were an absolute dream to work with. I hope that I never need restoration services in the future, but would recommend Mellon to anyone who does.

Very rude, not responsive. Came to my home when I lived out with a very bad attitude. I was upset because i was on a time schedule. And i believe they didnt do their best work because i was black. Never will i be calling them back.

The process to get my repair completed took a while, its the only reason for not giving 5 Stars. Kevin the repair technician they sent out the 2nd time was excellent. Made the assessment of the parts that he needed told me the when and the time he would be back to complete the job and he did so. Very happy with the work.

Shirl and Wayne were very knowledge about what needed to be done to take care of our water damage. Both were both extremely friendly and courteous.

I had Mellon come in after a pipe burst in my house for restoration. They dried everything out and everything seemed happy, however they took over a month before starting any repairs. I eventually did it myself.A year later the same pipe burst, my insurance sent them out again, again cleaned up no problem. This time they were quick to repair, started about a week after. They called me and said the color of floor I had was not in stock and they could do it right away if I went with a lighter color. I said OK. They ended up bringing in a completely different brand of flooring that was obviously a lower quality. I would have complained but I was selling the house and didnt think it was worth the time. They completed the work, repaired the wall and the floor. It looks ok, but I feel that it looked better when I did it myself. There was a few areas were the baseboard isnt flush on the floor and it looks like they lack attention to detail.On the flip side, the lady that handles the billing and correspondence is amazing. This company would easily sink without her. They should consider her their most valuable employee.

Our insurance company selected them for fixing our bathroom. 6 months later and after putting it in and ripping it out it finally got done. There is no reason retiling a bathroom shower should have taken 6 months. They knew they were wrong and said they were going to give us a big discount. They didnt, they sent a bill for the full amount and said due immediately. Mellon You need to make things right! The Griffins.
