I do not doubt the skills of these people... However, Dont you just HATE when you go in for a service and they really dont give. Scrap about what you want? And want to give you what is easier for them! I want my nails shorter! And then the whole Vietnamese starts to emerge. This is such unethical customer service practice.I am pretty judge when it comes to customer service... If I am paying the price you are requesting, give me the best customer service you should offer!Not sure I would recommend this place, despite the more reasonable prices.

I had an appointment for a pedicure and a nail dip, when I arrived there were 3 people having their nails done and 4 people waiting in pedicure chairs. After about 15 minutes, they sat me in a pedicure chair. 15 minutes later, they started on the people sitting next to me and were rushing to get them done. Another staff member went between 2 people’s feet and another person’s hands without wearing gloves or washing her hands. While I was sitting and waiting, they told 4 walk-ins it would be 30 minutes until they could their nails done. After sitting there for 45 minutes past my appointment time, I got up and walked out with wet feet. I can spend $100 and not get foot fungus or a rushed pedicure somewhere else.

If only I had the option to give it 0 🌟 I would’ve. The person that did my nails rushed going from person to person. Didn’t listen to the color I wanted. 👎🏽

Shape is terrible I had to re-file when I got home. They didnt like what I asked for so did what they wanted said it would go better( I wanted a red ombre ) they added silver glitter making my nails look like Christmas. Theyre ombre technique is terrible as well! I wanted acrylic with gel color ( so they dried instant) they up charged me and gave me colored acrylic charged $45 for the set! Would NOT recommend and wont be going back!

I visited after it was recommended from a friend. I got a gel French pedicure. It was the best one I’ve ever received.Too bad I live in N.H. otherwise I would definitely be a regular customer. Great nail spot! They are fairly new but did amazing. I was unsure of what design I would want, but patty my nail stylist helped me. She was nice and did a wonderful design.. I would recommend 100/100.

The nail tech was in not happy with the fact thati didn’t want to get my nails cutso she try to file my nails down to the size that she was comfortable with and I told her to stop and she caught an attitude with me then she only want to polish my nails with the gel twice and I told her no you have to do it three times!Next time she won’t be doing my nails smhThen when she was done without asking me if it’s okay she took a picture of my hands smh 😱👎😡🤔

What makes this place so amazing are the people who work there. They are so kind and show their customers that they really care about them :) their pedi service is amazing! I would definitely recommend and definitely plan on coming back!

Me and my best friend went to get our nails done with our daughters. Was over charged. We got acrylic nails and they are crooked and was a very rushed job. I dont recommend then at all

Although the staff was nice to me I fear the quality of service was lacking. A lot of steps were missing when I got my acrylics touched up. The shape was utterly ruined. I got them done on Valentine’s Day and expected the best. I went home crying. I wanted nice pointy nails like I had. Instead I went home with egg shapped nails... I kept tell the guy I wanted pointy nails and he just wasn’t getting it. I will not come back... this used to be my favorite salon years back. I’m am so disappointed and now out $40 and stuck with ugly egg 🥚 shapped nails instead of my pretty claws I normally have 😭😒😕

I love the Dipping Powder manicure. It easily lasts three full weeks & sometimes four! With the kind of work I do its the only polish that protects & lasts. The Spa Pedicures are also wonderful. The employees do a great job.

I am writing this for my wife who just had her nails done by Merry. As always, my wife is happy with her nails and the great service. She has been going to Happy Nails for a long time now and cant imagine going to another salon to have her nails done. Thanks Happy Nails.

I went there for the first time today and absolutely loved it there. John did an amazing job on my nails. They look fantastic. Hes hilarious and he made the entire experience very enjoyable.

I went in with a friend for pedicures. The service was fast, but we were definitely duped out of the correct services. Our nails were not cut, cuticles we’re not even touched, and she “scrubbed” our feet for a few seconds literally. My toe was bleeding and they started burning when she sprayed the alcohol on them before painting. Once painted, we were moved to a dryer and completely ignored even though there were no other customers in there on a Saturday afternoon. Should have taken that as a red flag. Paid over $50 for both of us and got a dirty look when I handed her a $10 bill for the tip. Hours later, my toes are sore. Won’t return.

I just got my nails done here and I got gel acrylics and they are so ugly and bulky. I asked for a square shape but instead they get wider the more out they go. When I scheduled the appointment they did not tell me it was cash only so when I finished my nails i had to use their atm machine that charges for using. They are also very rough with your hands and nicked me. I will never go back here again.

Heard this was a good pedicure.....made an appointment and taken fairly quickly but took 15+ minutes to actually have someone come and do anything....never trimmed cuticles, callouses were not thinned or even addressed....polish didn’t cover whole toenail....worst pedicure ever! And I’ve had many!

A first-time customer here. She was very sweet so Ill have to listen carefully when she speaks!! Great clean environment to get a manicure, pedicure etc. Im thinking of going back at the end of the week to add some designs manicure.

My normal nail salon was all booked up and could not accept walk-ins so I went to a different nail salon. The wrong move so I go to Happy Nails of course they accept us in but the entire time they did not speak to my husband or myself they were speaking amongst each other that work together we just sat there talking to each other my husband and myself it was very uncomfortable you could just feel that they were talking about us even though they squeezed us in it was uncomfortable. We wanted to get out of there as fast as possible we did though give each of our nail artist pedicure rather a $10 tip even though we felt the way we did and we never went back. I do not like being treated like Im Not a Human Being I do not like to be ridiculed talked about made fun of when all Im trying to do is give you the business pamper myself a little bit and move on with my day others might like this place but to me I never looked back. I stay with gel nails on Eisenhower Road who treat people like people and friends who laugh and joke to every customer that she gets my business and my vote

Got the 30-45 minute drive in Happy Nails for my nails every 2 weeks! They were VERYYY quite and polite to me. My nails last and do not chip. I will continue to go here to get a waxing, facial or eyelash- No doubtful here!

This has been my go to salon for about 2 years now. The old management were the best, very friendly and understanding. Unfortunately, the new owners arent that great. I tried to tolerate the change as mush as I could bc I did love this place so much. The woman did my nails once and completely rushed, didnt get my nail shape right, and gave me an attitude when I asked her to fix it. Just recently I went for a fill and Im pretty sure the guy doing my nails was VERY VERY inexperienced. When measuring my nails to make sure they were even, he left the electric file on while holding it and almost scrapped my hand so I had to pull away from him and ask him to turn it off. I had gel polish all over my cuticles. It took two girls to try to pick it off and I didnt even ask them to, they just knew it was a terrible job and tried to fix it for me. Plus, my chrome finish started scrapping off literally the day of getting them done. Im actually pretty bummed I can no longer stand to go here. Hopefully they improve but until then Im finding somewhere else.

I stopped coming here for a while because life can get really busy! Love love love the pedis I get here! And gave me exactly what I asked for! Pricing wise, theyre very reasonable, so thats another plus. I absolutely love the work they do here. Will definitely be booking with them again.

Waited for 20 mins not too bad since it was packed when I arrived, all chairs were occupied. The gal in front was super friendly and sweet. The atmosphere in this nail salon is very positive. Its almost becoming my regular place to go.

Accommodated the 5 of us for pedicures. Pricing of $38 was very good for hot towel wrap and parrafin feet. Very relaxing.

I went to get a fill and needed 3 nails put back on. I decided on regular polish. When i left i realized that my nails that he had just put on, we’re EXTREMELY thick in comparison to my others. He chose tips that were too large for my fingers making my nails look bulky and not feminine! Also down towards my nail beds on my new nails, they are already starting to crack. Won’t be back.

My son and daughter-in-law got me a gift certificate to here.I have gone there 4 times, each visit being pretty consistent. I have a $40 co-pay with insurance to go to a podiatrist. A visit here for $28 I get a relaxing pedicure including pariffin, a calf and foot massage and polish, sit in a massage chair, it is wonderful!

Used to be great but the new management staff is horrible. I dont know if Henry and Charlie sold or are just out of the country but they have been gone since the summer so outlook isnt so good. Left the last time with an infection under my nail. I will not be going back. Its a shame because they used to be so wonderful.

SCAM ALERT: My 72-year old mother in-law treated me to a pedicure for my birthday. She asked for a regular pedi with traditional polish and I asked for regular with gel. The woman who worked behind the counter spoke reasonable English and was easy to understand. The whole time we were in the chair the guy doing my nails tried to sell us a deluxe pedicure. We both told him “no” several times. Regardless, both men continued to give us treatments that we suspected were part of the deluxe pedi. Both men spoke terrible English and we had a hard time communicating. But I’m absolutely sure they understand the words “no thank you”. When it was time to check out, the woman who had been behind the counter suddenly disappeared and they charged my mother in-law $73 for the two services. Her pedi should have cost $18 according to their sign, and mine was supposed to be $28. Trying to address this discrepancy was impossible, as their English was suddenly worse than ever. I didn’t want to embarrass my husband’s mother, so I quietly left with her instead of ripping his face off. The moral of this story is....IF YOU GO TO HAPPY NAILS, WRITE DOWN THE SERVICE YOU WANT AND MAKE THEM PUT A PRICE BESIDE IT.

Is the man with the glasses so when you go you know who to look for was on his phone the whole entire time conversating didnt ask me if I want gel and didnt file my nails right theyre all different shapes nor did he file my real nails and didnt give me massage at the end a lot of people are really good there its just the fact that they have him and hes not a good employee.

Really impressed by this nail salon! I loved how they bring the tools to you still in the sterilized pack and open them in front of you. Very professional. They are quick and do great work.

After 5 times of them asking me if I want gel and me telling them no they still put gel on me and my sister nails. They don’t listen to what your saying.

I have been happily going to Happy Nails for 2+ years and think the owners are fabulous. Unfortunately they went out of the country and left the shop to a whackadoodle manager that doesnt understand what youre asking for and then throws a fit when you try to explain the same thing in different ways and promptly refuses service to you after butchering your nails. The guy doing my nails also LAUGHED at me when he told me what she said.Im told the owners are going to be gone for several months (though some are saying they sold the shop) and ultimately that means Im going to have to find a new nail place.

Would give a 5 star for quality and service except the poor fish in the front....they are suffocating in their water as the tank has nkt been cleaned in who knows how long and the filters are growing an incredible amount of algae. Its horribly sad and cruel. Ill be back when they take better care of their show pets! Even if they are just fish!

The Happy Nails technicians first priority was their customers which I appreciate. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and never to go anywhere else!

If you want to get an awesome pedicure, this is the place to go. They do the whole nine yards. Get all the nasty dead skin off your feet, trim your toenails & cuticles around each of them. After your feet alternate soaking a bit & you get a full upper body massage from there fantastic massage chairs ( Ive been to a lot of nail places, I hate when you sit in the massage chairs for a pedi & you can barely feel the rollers or even worse....when the chair is broke all together. That will never be a problem here.) Then comes my favorite part! They put paraffin wax in bags and dip your feet into them multiple times. When they remove the wax they give you a great (mid calf to foot) leg massage. Its like absolute HEAVEN. Once all of the pampering is complete they paint your toenails and send you on your way with a smile on your face and great looking feet. Who could ask for anything more?

Based on Yelp reviews, I went to this place for a mani and everything was awesome. The prices are super reasonable, and definitely worth every penny. I miss them!

The guy that did my nails was very aggressive with his tools and cut my fingers several times. He put glue on my fingertip where he cut me without telling me I was bleeding. He was very rude and arrogant when I told him he was hurting me. I will NEVER go back there again. This place should be shut down honestly. I believe that man is the owner but Im not sure. He never told me his name.

Horrible experience. I had to resort to this salon because my AMERICAN nail tech had to cancel. I have been getting my nails done for over 5 years now, so I know quality service when I see it. This salon is extremely dirty and the nail techs ignore you the entire service. My nail tech was a male and in my opinion had no idea what he was doing. He hurt me multiple times. First time he cut away extra skin on the side of my nail and cut it too deep. Second time he stabbed me underneath my nail with a pointed drill. It hurt so bad I jerked my hand away from him. Both of these injuries hurt for hours after my service. I left the salon with injured nails, uneven nail shape and length, and gel polish all over my cuticules.This is why I have avoided these types of shops over the years!! Next time Ill just let my acrylic fall off before ever going to a non-american salon again.

This place is AWFUL. They constantly have “new” people that have NO CLUE how to do nails. They let anyone do nails, with zero training or licenses. and if you’re not happy, they refuse to give you your money back if it’s been more than one day. I had a $30 gel “manicure” on a Friday, they were peeling off and my nails were breaking by Monday. They said they could redo my nails but wouldn’t give me my money back because it had been “too long”. Gel mani’s are supposed to last 2 weeks, not barely 3 days. This is the WORST nail place in Hanover, if i could give zero stars i would. Go to P&L nails in south hanover. Way better!!!!

Update** 4 of the reviews on here are fake/spam. Look at the profiles of the overly positive, five star reviews** Im so disappointed by this place! I used to love them, but the last six months or so their quality has deteriorated. It started when this kid began doing my nails, and he would watch his girlfriend on a (hidden?) camera, and not pay attention to what he was doing to my nails. I always had issues with them... The last straw was when the gel polish started peeling off my acrylics within a week of having them done. Every single nail peeled... Thats not normal! So I went back and asked the guy to repaint them. After he realized he filed too much off, he insisted i pay $18 for a fill because I wash my hands too much and the nails grew out too much... I had no choice but to let him refill my nails.After that I found a new place that does much better work and makes my nails look great. But today I went back to Happy, out of desperation of not being able to get into my new place, and I hoped Happy had gotten better. It did not.The new guy who did my nails today rushed the job. My nails look like I did them myself. The polish is bubbly or has dust particles in it... He let a piece of hair from his brush dry in the acrylic, the polish has ridges and feels tacky-- praying they dont peel again! They are uneven and have an awful shape and he cut them too short. Every time I tried to look at my nails while he was working, he would yank my hand back and put it on the table, as if he didnt want me to see...Nothing is worse than paying good money for something you hate.

I had my acrylics removed here and she ripped my nails off making two fingers bleed in the middle of my nail, then to stop the bleeding picked up the acrylic dust she just filed off and tapped it into the open sore. So so surprised I didnt get some kind of infection literally had sweat rolling off of me it hurt so bad and they still charged me full price I will never return or recommend others to go there.

I have been going to Happy Nails for almost two years. I go with my cousins, daughters and have taken my mom a few times.This past weekend I brought my 84 year old, fixed income mom in for a mani while I got a pedi. My mom picked her polish out and sat down for her manicure with the manager of the salon. The manager asked my mom if she wanted the polish that lasts longer and my unworldly mom said sure. Mind you that most of us know that she is referring to gel, which is twice the price, unfortunately as my mom has only had 7manicures in her entire life She had no idea that it cost more. As I was across the room I was not aware of the situation until my mom asked why she had to pay $30 for her manicure and did that include her tip? When I questioned the manager, who did the service, she said that she asked her if she wanted the service and my mom agreed and so she would not refund the $15 difference. On top of that she even mentioned that my mom didn’t even tip her (in my moms defense she thought that the reason the service was so expensive was because the tip was included) but really tipping is optional, it is not required and nor should it be demanded. I tried to explain that my mom didn’t not understand what gel nails were, she couldn’t understand what what the salon manager was saying because of her accent and nor was it explained that it was going to cost an extra $15. So sure if someone wants to do a different nail polish that will last longer you are going to naturally say yes.I really wish that the manager would have done the right thing and refunded the difference because if she had I would not be on here writing this review. I have also shared this experience with my 2 daughters that go here as well as quite a few cousins and friends. We have all agreed that we will no longer use this salon. This loss of business may not impact their bottom line too much financially although I hope that it teaches them a hard lesson on “doing the right thing” with regards to customer service. I feel that this was a very greedy move on their part and I am sad that I will no longer be able to use their salon.If you still decide to go to Happy Nails I strongly urge you to use the “Let the buyer beware” motto. They are very very big on the up sale and some workers speak very little English (as some have had to ask their coworkers ask me questions ) and so please be careful when agreeing to services. I would hate to see you or your elderly friend or parent be taken advantage of as well.

Good luck. Came in for a manicure with my mom, daughter and sons gf. Mom was getting a fill in, we were all getting manicures. I thought she was trimming my nails to even them out... Nope, She cut them off and they were long. Then the water she soaked my hands in were cold. No lotion. I just wanted the tips painted but they wanted extra so i asked for them to be done a light color if they were painting my whole nail, nope again... Electric blue nails. They were more interested in getting paid and discussing payment then doing the service they were being paid for. My daughter didnt get and actual manicure like she was suppose to, they just painted her nails then i had to tell them several times they didnt put a top coat and she needed a top coat. Worst place ever. I didnt want to give them any stars but you have to give them a star to do the review. So if you come here... Good luck.

I found my new nail place! I recently moved to the area and have tried many different places and dred getting my nails done. Every place I go the are so much of a hurry that I end up leaving with misshaped nails streaks or bubbles in the coating. This time was different! Happy Nails offers may different options when it comes to colors and techniques. I didnt have to ask once for her to fix anything! I went with the Solar Nails for 2 reasons, the color themes are endless and thedurability of the color. Im excited to get my nails done again!

NO STARS!!! I had a full set put on that the manager did, they were horrible!! So i asked them to be taken off and fixed. John them made a failed attempt at doing a better job!!! I have gel paint all over my fingers and areas of my nail without any polish. 2 are SUPER thick! They are just ridiculous after 3.5 hrs of my day wasted and $60 later i gave up!!! Now im off to find some other place to soak these things back off!! Ugghhhh

If i coulf give no stars i would. Went to get my nails done here and told the lady i wanted short almond shaped nails she gave long stiletto nails and none of them were straight when i told her about it another lady came over and said its you nail so your telling me my nails grow crooked no its your finger oh so now my fingers are crooked? She didnt know what to say then told me will if you dont like them youll have to soak them off and go somewhere else i got up and walked out i workes in a nail salon and have been getting my nails done since i was 13 and im very picky about my nails and i told the girl before she even stated.i ended up going to get them fix some where else i will post a picture of what they gave me and what they look like after getting them fixed

I asked for French tips because on the board the were 5 dollars and looked cute. I told then I wanted them on my natural nails and my nails were then cut very VERY short, which I complained about, then he proceeded to rip my cuticles and leave all of my fingers sore and bleeding. He then filed the top of my nails and a few were filled do thin, I could feel it and it hurt very bad. Then I was charged 20 dollars and I walked out crying because the ignorant desk guy was very rude about the 20 dollars and that Im not right about the price and proceeded to say Ill call other nail sal9ns to prove my point. Never returning and I dont recommend it to anyone
