I just picked up a rental at the Enterprise in Hanover and the staff there was exceptional. They really went above and beyond. I got there right before they were closing because I needed a car asap and they were still friendly, professional, personable and did their best to match me with the best rate and car that they could. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone and everyone and will be returning for any rental needs that I have in the future!

I originally reserved a cargo van at the Hanover, MA location on line, the only issue is the local rental agent told me they’ve never have cargo vans to rent. I called the national number and they told me there were no cargo vans in all of Massachusetts! I ended up measuring the interior of a Grand Caravan that had seats that folded into the floor and this mini van worked out fine. The local rental agent even dropped the price of the mini van to match the cargo van price. Overall a very good experience.

Professional and courteous service. Ive used them twice this year for ~2 weeks at each time while my car was in the shop getting repaired. I dont love the sales pitches selling extra insurance when I meet to sign for the car, but thats pretty standard in the industry. Id recommend the service to others looking for a convenient rental.

Perfect rental. Had a few credit card issues nothing to do with enterprise ( heads up your CC needs a chip), but they were very patient and extremely friendly while I sorted my situation out. Rental was perfect really nice F-150 for the day. Booked it using there website really easy to navigate through to change dates and times for different prices. Not my first rental from enterprise and Im sure it wont be the last

Plymouth is always nice and helpful never issues. Hanover was a horrible experience. No call backs when iwa told i would receive one. Mistake with billing that has still yet to be corrected. A rep told me they would honor a price after drop off and all of a sudden it was not ever mentioned again.

It would of been a 4 star or higher, if I didnt have any incident with them.First, the positives. The staff was very friendly, I interacted with Tristan, honestly that young man is a Gem at that location, very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. Explained and went over things to the T. The rest of the team are also friendly, some friendlier than others.The car was super awesome, smooth ride, no damages, new vehicle, I was pretty satisfied with my rental.Negatives; I initially rented the vehicle for an intended weekend family getaway, loved the car so much, and needing a car for an extended period, due to private vehicle in the shop, working and running a business. My contract was switch to a weekly rate, which I always make sure the payments are being taking care of by calling and keeping in touch.For one or two days, they did not process payments, which equals to $51 bloody dollars, they had the nerve to send a legally threatening text to my phone as if I was skipping payment, and skipping out with the vehicle.7:30-8:00am, barely made it to my office, just so happened to pick up my personal phone, and read the insulting text.Mind you, it was after Ive specifically called during the weekend, spoke with someone over the phone, giving them access to process whatever fees, and that very same young man, told me I was all set, now because he failed to properly do his job, I was being threatened with legal actions, over $51! I have a professional career, and a business, and professional reputations at stakes.Their correspondence was very distasteful, disrespectful, and completely outside of any customer service anyone should receive.Mind you, you have my card on files, and total rental costs came out to almost $1300 for three weeks, especially as a first time renter to your location. No sir! Your office methods of customer approach needs serious work! for your staff to address a customer so early in the morning with insinuating text of theft of your vehicle, and subjective to legal actions.... that really had me floored, I was highly upset by the message, and giving me before 8:00am to reach out before taking actions against me! That ruined my entire day, I was so upset. As a Branding/Marketing Specialist, I would be besides myself if I allowed my clients to conduct business in such manners.Please trained your staff better, on both following through, and paying more attention to their tasks, because you could become liable. The team at the Hanover ma. Enterprise were pleasant and professional. The rental experience was easy and I appreciate the paperless process. Its nice to get all the documentation in my email in place of all the paper that used to be used. If I had one issue it would be nice if an ice scraper/Snow remover was put in the car. I had to scramble to find one during a snow storm

I rented the car on a Friday at 9am and planned to return it Tuesday evening. I was told that because of the 24hr rental cycle it wouldnt matter if I returned it Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning and Id be charged the same. When I returned it Wed morning I was told I had two extra days and could have returned it an additional 2 days later. Really wish this had been explained to me from the start!

Enterprise Hanover came through for me in a big way! Just hours before I was heading out for a 10 day vaction with my family I found out that another rental agency in town did not the have the car I had reserved a month prior. So, before deciding to take my own car I checked in with Enterprise. Tyler was able to shuffle some things around and was able to get me the large vehicle I needed for the vacation. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the right car which I was very appreciative of. Enterprise has earned by business going forward because service was so important to them.

I reserved a car 1 week before my trip with another rental agency and they did not have the car I reserved. I was frustrated so immediately contacted Enterprise and they were able to reserve a car for me the day of my trip. I will never use another car rental agency if its not Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Rented a vehicle from enterprise in hanover on may 31 2020 they did not have the car i booked online and gave me a tacoma, which is fine, however, on my way home, luckily a few blocks from my house, i was stopped by police because they said i did not come to a full stop at a stop sign, they asked for my license and registration, i told them it was a rental and gave them both, he then informed me that the registration expired in march of 2020, and i should not be driving it and they should have never rented it to me. i have rented cars at least a dozen times in the last 10 years this is the first time this has happened to me. this was the first and last time i ever rent from enterprise. I MISS VERC. I will also let everyone in my organization know not to rent from enterprise, we rent vehicles often.

I rented a car because I had to drop mine off at the mechanic. I was quoted $129.00 for two days ( Monday and Tuesday). On Tuesday I called to ask Enterprise if the could pick the car up at my mechanic and they told me “No”. So I told them I would bring it back at 6pm when I can get a ride. I dropped it off on Tuesday at 6pm and the next day I got an email that they charged me for an extra day for a total of $190.00. I called to talk to the branch about being overcharged and basically they told me too bad. They told me my rental was do back at noon on Tuesday. I told them originally I needed it for two days, Monday and Tuesday. They charged me for Wednesday. I feel Enterprise was dishonest and did not honor there original price. The branch Assistant manager wouldn’t listen to anything I said and told me that was the cost of the rental now. Very unhappy with this experience.

I recommend this location to anyone looking to rent a car. Very friendly staff who are are always willing to either pick you up or drop you off at home after you return your car. Most cars are close to brand new and have low miles on them. The rental fee is very reasonably priced...5 stars!

Joe, Brendan, Kurt and Matt (and anyones name I have forgotten) are a fantastic team. I have rented cars quite a few times from this location,for one reason or another and each and every-time the customer service could not have been better and accommodating on so many levels. Even the drivers picking me and dropping me off were great. If you need to rent a car and are in their area this is the rental place to go to.

I have to hand it to the people that work there because they were SUPER patient with me and my attitude. I want to thank them a thousand times for how nice they were…even though I wouldnt blame them if they had stuff 2 say about me after I left…i wouldve. My experience started poorly but ended on a high note. I needed a short-term rental while my car was having some body work. The day I picked up the car I was running late and the reservation process had been previously done online so I made a short stop at Enterprise (Hanover, MA) and the car was ready to go. I jumped in and drove about a mile as I realized the car reeked of smoke smell. I’m not a smoker so I knew this was going to be unpleasant and I called the office to have them note the smell in the car and not think it came from me. The manager, Tyler was quick to offer a replacement vehicle which under normal circumstances I would have done but I had a pressing schedule. I dealt with the smell for a couple of days and upon returning the car the manager remembered me and addressed the smell with a discount and apologies for the issue I had to deal with.It was a good exchange and I was now leaving, via UBER, from Enterprise to go pick up my car at the auto-body place. This was late in the day about 10 minutes before Enterprise closes. On route I get a call from the auto-body office and they told me my car was not ready. WIth just minutes before closing I called Tyler at ENterprise and asked if he had a car he could get me. “No problem” and he gave me a brand new premium vehicle with a price reduction to address my earlier poor experience.Thats how you do business and keep customers!

Platinum member! I wanted to rent a cargo van (Personal use). Website said call to confirm availability. I called and I spoke with Hannah. She confirmed they had the Van but could not rent me the vehicle via points. She told me to call enterprise directly to reserve the Van and redeem my hard earned points. I called enterprise plus and she said she couldn’t help me either. I needed to call the branch back and have them change the status of the van on their website to available. I called the branch and spoke to Hannah again. She remembered me and I told her I spoke with an enterprise plus agent but she could not complete my reservation either. The agent said anyone from the branch could change the status of the van to available. She said she can’t do that but took my number down and said she would call me right back. Well, it has been several hours and I even called back but was on hold for 37 minutes and then finally hung up. I guess the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing here in this office. Just wanted to rent a van using my points. Why is that so hard?!?! Please advise.

I am only writing this report cuz they just sent me an e-mail asking me to review. I have been using Enterprise for several years now on very steady basis and Ive never had an issue. Last week however I had a horrible experience there with the employees all who I have known 4 years of going there. They were sarcastic dishonest and disrespectful. These are all young men in their twenties and thirties. Apparently their supervisor was off that day. This is a new supervisor so I dont know how she expects her staff to engage with the customer but this was a disaster. So I have a $45 a day rental on my insurance. Enterprise wants to give me a midsize car that was very uncomfortable to me physically that did not cost $45 a day however with their fees and taxes it would have been chilly add up to 45 dollars. Three times I asked to speak to the kid in charge and each time he was unavailable even though I could physically see him on one of the occasions. I asked who his supervisor was and they told me that he was the supervisor so in other words they would not give me anybody that I could speak to about my problem. After 4 hours I returned the rental which I should we have for weeks as my car was in an accident and is in the shop. When I return to the car after 4 hours one of the employees Brendan said to me and I quote well since you rented with Hertz then you have no reason to talk to _____(supervisor) anyway. Extremely inappropriate. I went to their competition across the street which is something I have never done even though my insurance company recommends the competition. I remained loyal to Enterprise anytime. I had to call a different location just to get the name ofthe supervisors supervisor. I emailed him and as of today got no response. The district supervisor who formerly worked at the Hanover MA location did call me later on that afternoon after hearing that I had emailed the name of the person givene to me earlier. He was very gracious and offered for me to come back and rent another car. He knows that I have been a loyal customer and that I do a lot of business with them. Like I said before Ive never had a problem with this location in the past. I use them so often I have frequent flyer miles so to speak. For some reason these kids aka young gentleman decided since their boss was off they were going to try and act cool. I chose not to put this on Facebook because a lot more people would see it and Im not out to screw Enterprise. We had a good relationship until last week.
