Patricia went above and beyond expectationsI left a zip lock bag with lawnmower parts on a shelf Wednesday realized the bag was gone Friday at my house went to northern Saturday morning to try to find it and she said it wasn’t there but she would ask the manager when he arrived. She took my number down and I left.2 hours later she calls me and the manager found it. Great customer service

The order process went fine but I was given a code in order to get a discount. But unfortunately, during checkout, there was no option to put in a code.

When the other 2 are out of what you need Northern Tools has it. Checked for power washer hose and extension wand online at HD... out of stock.... Checked online Ls they showed 2 on isle 7, drove there from another city just to find nothing. Thanks to Northern Tools, they had both and price matched their online sale price. Both the employees that assisted me were very knowledgeable of what I was looking for and full of conversation.My new go to store.

I walked in the store and had not even made it 3 steps before Sherrell greeted me and asked how she could help. She was amazing. Other employees have been wonderful too but I truly enjoyed speaking to her as I’m also in customer service. Kudos to Northern Tools of Hampton Virginia for hiring Sherrell. The store is spotless and well organized as well. It’s a mans candy land.

This store is absolutely amazing ! Every kind of tool and gadget one can think of, and then some.

Ordered a generator to be delivered to store which came in quickly, about a week. Curbside pickup was great. They brought it out and put it in my truck. Now ordered an electrical 240 male plug and its available in store (no charge) and theyll bring it out in about 2 hours. So nice!

I love going to northern tool just to look around and buy things I need from there and the people who work there gave always be great to try and help you find what you need .its a great store and I have nothing bad to say .keep up the good work.

Prices are fair and tools are good quality. Milwaukee tools there as well and cheaper than home depot on some items.

Picked up good deal on trailer tires, but no in store notice of sale may have been charged full priceif not questioned price, just saying, as it took a while for price ck. Seem corporate and store prices need to b checked. But do find stuff I need here.

I brought my Generator here to fix a Simple Gas Leak... 2 Months ago and they still have not worked on it! No one has bothered to call me, I’ve called there at least 5 times now and keep hearing different stories as to why it’s not fixed. If you’re looking to have your small engine worked on, it’s best to take it elsewhere unless you’re a VERY PATIENT PERSON.... You might even forget that you left it there! I did briefly 😳 UPDATE: These guys did absolutely nothing to my Generator... Was asked to come Pick it up...TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE 😡😡😡

I went to northern tool on 10/12/19 and made a purchase and the cashier was probably the most helpful individual I have ever encountered. The woman went beyond the call of duty she gave me the internet price of the item I purchased and when I came back because of an issue with the items months later the customer service representative Matt was equally amazing..... My conscience wouldnt allow me to have peace without acknowledging the exceptional service and customer support. The ladies at the cashier on 4/16/20 were just as amazing. I really am amazed.... Placed an order online for local pick up. One of the six items was out of stock. Was told they had to cancel the whole order instead of just removing or replacing the out of stock item. At least they called to tell me.

Excellent staff and service

I went in this morning to purchase a boroscope for our dealership. They did not stock the one I was looking for, but offered me the Milwaukee brand one with a better warranty. I REALLY needed it today, so I went ahead and bought it. The light on the camera does not cut on, it does not work out of the box. I called the store and the manager said I can come get their display, but he will not apply any discounts to it. I will be carrying the large amount of business we do with them elsewhere.

Over priced tools

I spend several hundred dollars a year at this location alone. My purchase are once a month in order to use the coupons they send me in the mail. Went in Nov. 6, 2015 with a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase. My total came out to $52.99 and I was told by the clerk my coupon was not valid unless the total was before taxes, (Which was $49.98). You cant let 2 cents slide? I asked. No, he said smugly, its our policy. I informed him my policy was never to entire another Northern Tool if they could not let 2 cents slide. He mentioned again it was policy. I left the merchandise and the store.

I had maintenance done on my lawnmower. It took them almost 4 weeks to get to it. No sense of urgency. It cost $109 and I could have gotten a new one for less than $200. Im not impressed with them.

Place is well stocked however, personnel need a personality. Couldnt understand cashier when she spoke.

Good quality products reasonably priced

Standard tool and equipment store. Unfortunately their service dept is only open 8-430 M-F, and wont even accept drop-offs on the weekends, so for those of us with normal Mon-Fri jobs, good luck getting your equipment to them for service when you need it.

Always a majo problem when calling parts and service. No one ever ever answers! Then when you walk into the store you can never find an associate to help you with anything. My recommendation go to pressure works
