This facility earned every star! I’ve been in a few gyms but this one is by far the cleanest ymca I’ve been In..highly professional..great staff good equipment..great pools..clean locker rooms I couldn’t ask for much else

I just rejoined and I’m loving it! I was a member here several years ago when it was Sentara. I’ve been checking in every year to see what changes were made after the transition and finally after they upgraded the cardio equipment I switched back and dropped planet fitness.My only issue is the weekend hours. You really should extend Saturday to 7pm and Sunday to 5pm.

I took a Les Mills training course last weekend at this YMCA location and it was amazing! The training was awesome and the employees at this location were amazing! I personally got to know a Manager named Alfredo and he is one of the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet. He cares about the people he works with and also about each person who comes into the Y.To add to how awesome this Y is, the employees take great pride in their facility. They made sure it looked spectacular and I have never seen a gym so clean. I will be going back to this gym every chance I get 😊

All machines r continously cleaned and sanitized. Everyone was extremely polite and knowledgeable. 4 days a week!!

This is my favorite YMCA location. But this location doesn’t offer the Deep Water aerobics class. That is the only thing missing for me. If it offered that class that would make it perfect for me. But it is still my favorite 😁.

Pros:1.By far the best gym in Hampton.2.Clean changing rooms, spacious studios.3. Ample parking spotsNot so great:1. Free weight section is a little cramped and some equipment like a deadlift Jack are missing.2. Directions are a little weird as the gym is close to a hospital3. Pool and aquatics to open in summer

Very upset they dont take Silver Sneakers. useless to be a couple of blocks from me and I cant use itI saw your reply however the Hampton Y is a mess and needs to be renovated and the pool needs to be warmer
