Candace and the gentleman who was working with her are wonderful! This post office has always provided professional service. I have watched some hurtful behavior from customers. Right now there are rule changes and covid. We need to thank them for serving us during these times.

How is this place a federal building yet everytime I call they say their phone lines are down and I get hung up on? I haven’t received my mail for 3 days in a row! Very unprofessional if I could give this place 0 stars I would!

I was actually surprised it was fairly quick today at the post office on seoul. However the guy who is behind the counter must truly hate his job because you cant hear him since he will not face you to talk to you and he puts his hand fires mouth to hold his chin up and to block his muffled voice. I mean if you really dislike and hate your job that much go somewhere else or retire. Ive never had an issue like this before but they keep this up and the post office will slowly die like it has been. SMH

Slow mail and package delivery, haven’t had a mail delivered in 4 days now, went to pick it up and they told me it on a truck out to be delivered. It says it was out fro delivery yesterday....when our regular lady delivers the mail, it’s always on time, when she’s not assigned for our area, the mail doesn’t get delivered

Customer service is terrible. No one is doing anything about it either. Management seems to be bad as well... It has been convenient because the distance but I will look into opening a post 📫 office box in a different location

Sorry we missed you, Attempted delivery BS notice, when I am at HOME, during the time frame I was allegedly missed. No one attempted anything. Now I dont know where my package is! I set up redelivery to PICK UP my package...and its not even at the building. Why are you even getting paid???

The elderly MAN who is always there always makes me feel uncomfortable from his rude behavior. He never has a positive attitude and always seems annoyed. Very unprofessional, I hope they find a better staff because there is no reason for me to not feel comfortable to ask an old man for stamps.

The customer service representatives have no customer service skill at all what so ever. I am always rushed out with minimal answers and always greeted with a attitude just like the mil carrier on my block.

I was afraid to go here due to all the bad reviews about getting attitude and slow employees. But I instead got a lady that was so nice. They also shipped my item fast. This was my first time mailing something on my own and it was a good first impression.

Went in to have passports processed for me and my son and they are very slow and were trying to make us come back and make an appointment. No one ever told us that we needed to make an appointment for passports. They were just being lazy and didnt want to do the work. The lady there was also very rude. They really need new people there.

I live in a apartment complex and waited for my delivery. Since my package was too big for my mailbox, the postal lady decided to not deliver my package to my door but say she attempted to deliver the package. I got that email and ran outside immediately. Then she told me HERSELF I wasnt about to go look for no apartment HOW COME AND THATS YOUR JOB? What if I had important medicine and needed it? Just LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL.

I was very very pleasantly surprised today when I had to make a call to this Post Office, twice even. The ladies that I spoke with were very very helpful, very real, down to earth and kind. Thx a bunch!

They tried delivering my package to my business that has the business hours yet STILL manage to try to deliver on a day it says CLOSED. The first time they didn’t even try to deliver it when we were clearly opened. They put “package was too big” when people were here. They also didn’t even leave a notice. The second time they tried to redeliver on a day off. How stupid can you get? COME ON

I went to this particular post office and I must say if you are looking for TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE well, this is THE place to go. I walked in, spoke to a black lady at the front desk and I was ignored. I knew she heard me but nevertheless she didn’t utter a word. I couldn’t give her a pass because she and I were the only people in the area. So I SAID HELLO AGAIN, only this time I shouted it loud enough for people at the FAMILY DOLLAR that’s next door could hear. Reluctantly she said hi in such a way that I WAS BOTHERING HER. I proceeded to explain why I was there and even while talking to her I tried really hard to STILL SHOW HER SOME KINDNESS. (I said to myself even God has given ME mercy when I didn’t deserve it) Well it was like talking to a rock! She was still being rude, ignorant, nasty, just simply unprofessional. I’m looking at her, saying to myself, “if you don’t like your job then find another one where you’re not working with the public!” I will never in this lifetime EVER VISIT THIS POST OFFICE AGAIN! What’s so sad is that there are people who are unemployed who NEVER GET A BREAK in terms of getting a job; this woman surely is not deserving of being employed at all!! I’ve heard rumors and such about postal workers and let’s just say she truly lived up to them today. For anyone who is attempting to go to this post office, DON’T! Take your money, your mail and your time elsewhere. This was one review worth writing and if I could’ve submitted a rating of zero I certainly would have done so.

Wish I didnt have to get my mail and packages through them. They either are super late, dont come at all. Also leave the missed you slips when Im always home and they never knock. Very unprofessional and 95% of the carriers dont do their jobs!!! Photo below shows how packages are delivered when they feel like delivering.

Being a carrier can be easy and then challenging. When the customer dont shovel, mailboxes are damaged, no address on houses and dogs loose makes the job very difficult to do.

If you can avoid having their office deliver your mail then I would advise doing so. They will not deliver packages, lie about making attempts to do so and destroy every piece of mail that they put in your mailbox. I have as much as I can delivered to my work to avoid dealing with their incompetence. I have even had Amazon remove them as a carrier after they forgot to deliver a box for 5 days in a row. Their office is a prime example of why the postal system is failing in this country.

Ive lived all over Chicago, then I moved here and by far this is the worst post office. Every month they refuse to deliver my package because of the 40lbs weight. Thats the only heavy thing I have to have ship because I dont own a car. Like clock work, every month its back and forth phone calls with them. Then theres the everyday delivery carriers. I get other peoples mail, someone gets mine. The best part is when I get my mail open and you could see that someone has tried resealing it. When calling, dont waste your time asking for the supervisor, shes more of a nuisance with her unprofessional and disrespectful attitude.

I have complained about late mail deliveries to several different offices, but to no avail the.problem still persist. The customer service.is horrendous, bad attitudes, incorrect information.....the list goes on. If the average employee performed their jobs with such aloofness I would think they would be.terminated asap.

Waiting on Medication that was shipped 10 days ago. 27th arrived at USPS Indianapolis on the 1st, Gary on the 2nd, Hammond on the 3rd, back to Gary on the 4th, back to Hammond on the 5th, STILL.not out for delivery!!

I’m so sick of sending my boyfriend to the post office and having them decline my Poshmark package. It literally happens every single time. The Asian man ALWAYS tells him that the Poshmark order is packaged in the wrong box.ITS NOT! And I emailed Poshmark to let them know this continually happens at this location. When I go, it’s not an issue. What’s the problem USPS? I don’t get it. So aggravating. Y’all need to get rid of that man cus I’m sick of seeing him with that funky attitude he got.

Terrible service, there was only one representative that is helpful and courteous. I have had a long history of problem with this branch as well as others neighbors in my area. Update 5/19/17 I continue to have problems with receiving my mail. SMDH

Slow as can be. Take forever to mail an item out. I had to mail back a cell phone. I am almost had to pay for cause they waited to long to mail out. They are rude as can be. They sure as hell dont now how to read to put your mail in your correct box. They put your mail in someone elses box. I sat their and watch dumbass do it to. Wish their was a negative rating here.

Hundreds of dollars of my packages are lost or stolen every year by this post office. These instances are reoccurring, this post office closes cases without even contacting me or correcting the issue, meanwhile the tracking info claims they delivered. Literally the last 5 packages Ive ordered were lost or STOLEN by this post office; usually when I order electronics.

Carriers have benn cool. Last 2 are always on a phone. Current one is LOUD on her phone.. And its irritating. But..I get my mail..usually in the box!packages on weekends are left where anyone can see them from the street..in fact they are left so close to the street ..that its not smart or fair at all.Top management position has twice shown a serious customer communication void.One is made to feel like residents are just wrong..Displaying same unprofessional communication style..in person or thru unresolved and serious problems.After 10 years..basic service matters are still non prioritized by leader./s.At least not coming from the top.The last problem was documented..sadly.Not something I asked for either. but in need of a fresh approach obviously.Now, still, zero there is zero resolve.This is beyond unusual..or simple oversites.

Before when I had my mail coming to my old address If I would order on line thru usps I would track my package but when it said delivered like at 1:20pm it wasn’t there till I call and complained wich took forever also then when I give them my tracking info guess what !!!! The mailman comes back and puts it on my steps three hours after it said it was delivered !!!! Probably wanted to steal my package and that’s just my common sense opinion!!!ans there’s lots more besides all this soo just leave it to your knowledge!

Missed my package that was due to arrive Friday, October 6th although did not make it in time to retrieve it. Rescheduled the delivery online for it to arrive the next day which is Saturday, October 7th. It is currently 4:38pm on October 7th and still have yet to receive my package. Called at 11:52am (they close at 12:30pm) to confirm it will be delivered today and was told by 5pm although online it mentions delivery by Tuesday, October 10th with In Transit on the website. What exactly is the purpose of the Reschedule Delivery option through online or phone if it will not be redelivered? 🤔BTW there was no notice left on my door to indicate missed delivery and they are closed Monday for Columbus Day. Hooraaaaay!! *sarcastically speaking*

Scheduled a pick up and made is specific to knock on the door or ring the bell to get the package mail lady does neither and says the bell must not have been working bell works just fine!!!!! Horrible service have it ready for her tomorrow I scheduled the pick up for today 7/12/2016 there was a reason for that

Bad customer service, they cant even try to make it sound they care.. I sent something about 1 week ago, it was supposed to be there 2 days ago and they cant tell how much more its going to take. Next time Ill make sure I use ups or Fedex. USPS its the worst to send packages, I learned this the hard way..

Our mail lady sucks! She never rings the doorbell when there is a package, she always blocks our parking lot with her truck, so we have to wait for her to leave before we can leave and she just ignorant, we can say hi and she just keeps walking with her stuck up attitude!

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Enough so that it provoked me to write my first review. If I could have given this 0 stars I would. First I was ignored when there was nobody else in there, then I’m not greeted just asked what I want. I proceed to show my tracking number on my phone the guy immediately shuts that down & says just give me your ID. He asks me how long it’s been here. I say today, he says it’s probably on a truck. I go no, it says it arrived here earlier today, I practically have to beg this man to CHECK. He goes I’ll check but it’s probably not here. Leaves for 30 seconds comes back. Nothing, goes yeah it’s probably on a pallet still. It’ll be delivered tomorrow OBVIOUSLY I know that,. The whole reason I’m there is so it doesn’t have to be delivered. I would never go through them if I had the choice. FEDEX gave it to them to deliver to my misfortune. 0 Stars.

I never get mail on time i lost my insurence cause i got my renewal letter the day it was do to be back at the office 28 day after it was sent and they never pick up out going mail. I have had to put a sign out to get them to take the mail. I get packages I should have signed for left on my porch. They dont even ring the door bell.

The male employee there that works days is the rudest person alive. Not willing to help anybody. Maybe he should just retire.
