Made an online appointment for Oil lube and filter, tire rotation, and a front brake service. Got a call a few hours later, and the service writer told me that I needed front brake pads, and suggested either not machining the rotors, and just pads slap, and a brake flush ( because the rotors were in the yellow zone, whatever that means ), for $199, or everything just listed, plus new rotors for $425. The price difference to me seemed a little excessive, and I dont understand why they wouldnt give me the micrometer numbers as far as the rotors were concerned? Anyways, I approved the brake job, and was told they would call when it was finished. About a half hour before they closed, I called, because I hadnt heared from them and was told their parts people were unable to get the parts for it ( I called every part house in the area, and they all had the parts). They told us the OLF was done, and to come pick it up. My fiance picked it up, and they told her to have me fix the brakes, since I was a former technician. Im baffled as to how this kind of service could be allowed to happen. Ill never be back.

Good local shop! Had a wheel stud that I could not get off for the life of me after it rusted to the wheel. I drove around to a few shops in the area, and was told they weren’t able to take care of it—took it to Monro’s and the team was able to take care of me, while also explaining what the exact diagnosis was! I will definitely be back for future services!

Many reasons why they couldnt help. Amazing Wal Mart could though, and it worked. Whomp Whomp Whaaaaaa.

It took 2 months for my car to be complete for a new transmission. When car was returned it was throwing several exhaust codes (exhaust has to come out for the transmission to come out). Car was not complete, the battery cover was left off and several interior trim bits were left unsecured. Car had several oil stains on center counsel that were not cleaned. Will never recommend for major service.

On 7/13/21, I had a flat tire on my car and I drove to Monro on Main St. In Hamilton, OH. Service was fast and I was on my way. This is where the positive response ends. When I got into my car on 7/14/21, I had a tire pressure of 19. I went back to Monro and the fix was to replace the valve stem. When I checked the tire again on 7/15/21, the pressure was 17 lbs. I took it to my dealer who said it was plugged in the wrong place resulting in the tire needing to be replaced. Monro denied any negligence and made no offer of refund. Poor workmanship and poor customer service.7/20/21 Received a call back from corporate office today. They are refunding the cost of the repair. I am still out the cost of the new tire. Still not happy.The new tire was $272.92. To fight with them would be more trouble than it is worth for my PTSD.Rating is still a 1.

Very good mechanic red is very honest and the team is good. They take proper percedors do to the civic mask and distance. I have took my vehicle to them because of the honesty I have developed with the mechanic I call red. Great team.

I have been going to Monroe tires for a long time now even at their location in Oxford and when I moved your Hamilton I was so glad to know there was the exact same place as I went before! And even though one of my favorite employees has retired, he definitely has made sure to have trained great employees, who educate me, not just throw some papers for me to sign with hardly an explanation of whats happening with your vehicles! This place just changed to a new management. Be aware!! They tried to charge me almost 60 dollar just for balance and tire rotation!! People go this place now please be careful.This used to be my favorite place to go. Not anymore. The old manager is very nice so sad that he is gone :(

It was Thanksgiving eve and the shop was closing early I had just showed up to get my brake pad replaced and they stayed a few mins after closing to also put on a rotar. They were all nice gentlemen I will definitely refer😊

They charge two to three times the amount that I used to get charged! I found that Joe and Carter both work at the Oxford location and will be taking my car there from now on!

These people are charging for work, but not actually doing it and we have proof this time. My son took one of our cars in for a oil change and tire rotation. One of the tires was newer and by a different manufacturer, and we new it was it was on the front passenger side going in so we could see when he brought the vehicle home whether or not they had actually rotated the tires. My son paid for the service. They told him they rotated the tires and even made mention of how much tread was left to him at check out. But when he got home, the tire was in the same place...it had not been rotated. This is not the first time either. However, it will be the last time we go there and we will be reporting them to corporate.

Fast service...a little pricey for me. A muffler repair quote of $388..my husband got everything at Auto Zone for under $25 and fixed my car himself. But the service at Mono Muffler was awesome. My apt was at noon and they had elevated my car and gave me a quote in like 30 minutes.

They’ve always worked on my car. I went in for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation and one of my cheap hubcaps got broken. They called autozone to try to get another one and I was like that’s ok. They did my oil change for free. The hubcap was 15$ and the oil change was 65$. I went back in last month to get it winterized and just asked that when they rotate the tires to just put the one wo the hubcap n the back passenger tire. He called autozone and purchased a whole new set so now I have three brand new ones just in case. I think they went above and beyond good customer service. Thank you Monro.

AC wasnt working. Went there and was charged $188 for diag and repair. AC Still not working. I take it back and they tell me that my whole system needs replaced. I ask what the diag was and they said they only check if compressor kicks on, nothing more. I take it somewhere else and they put in a $20 sensor and now it is working.

Two months ago, I went out of my truck during lunch to find a flat tire because of a rotten valve stem. I put the spare on, and took it to Monroes. They didnt charge me a dime. I told myself I will be giving them business again. I bought a new car and a week ago the system told me my back tire was at 20 psi. After a week of driving on it I go to air it up and find a nail in the tire. Again, in a rush, I take it back to Monroes. 30 minutes later they bring me my car. They would not accept money again!!! This was a different guy in the first time too. After reading all of these other skeptical reviews, it puzzles me after both of my awesome experiences.

It was my first and last time at this shop. I had a not so pleasant experience when I dealt with the assistant manager Michael. Not only was I asked for a few cigarettes while waiting but he offered to perform the job under the table saying that he was in a pinch and needed cash. Very unprofessional.

Went to hamilton shop for exhaust and muffler for a jeep wrangler, they got me right in and drove home, within a week the exhaust came lose from muffler, because the peice that was ordered was to short, then a couple months later its came apart at the catalytic converter, im sure because the original problem was not fixed properly by not getting a long enough pipe, ridiculous!!!! Go somewhere else for automobile work.
