Very bad experience im 19 and “thought” I was going to be financing my own vehicle but I think they are trying to get over me. I put $2000 dollars down and paid for license plates and they actually let me leave without. and then a couple months later they are calling me to give them the car back because the bank they financed with didn’t process . I’ve got threatened with the police . Also they gave this vehicle back to me for the second time months later on top of me paying insurance while it’s sitting in the car lot and put 600 down this time and asked me to pay them for license plates AGAIN! When I already established this with them . Now this time the car is actually registered with license plates and still want the car back months later AGAIN for the second time and still get threatened with the police .

Bought a 2014 Ford Focus 2 years ago this coming February. Within the first 6 months the Bluetooth stopped working. Within the first 10 months, I had to have the starter, ignition switch and battery replaced. Within the first 12 months I had to replace the Transmission Control Module.

Terry was able to get me financed when no other company would finance me! When I needed my car worked on they were able to get it in quickly and finished quickly! Their customer service and commitment to keeping their customers happy is outstanding and a cut above the rest! Hamburg Motors is the best. I went in with a tight budget for my first used car. They gave me a great car under budget. It purrs like a kitten! Dave and his staff were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I recently bought a car from here and we worked with John, Terry, and Dave and all of them were extremely accommodating to our needs and very informative on our options. They were prompt in getting us set up with the car even giving us dealer plates while waiting for the actual plates to come in. They put on new breaks and new tires for us as well. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from this dealer.

My 17 year old son purchased his first car from here paying $5000. The car he bought lasted 7 months, then he wasn’t able to drive it anymore b/c the frame was rotted out(not sure how it passed inspection) Hamburg motors gave him back $2000, which means he is out $3000.

In December of 2019 I purchased a Chevy Impala 2009 with 122k cost $7,000Issues: 4 months later transmission stopped working that was another $2,0006 months later the engine blew upAside from all that I replaced front pads and rotors as well as back emergency brake cable both axles four wheel bearings four struts four control arms and complete exhaust interior are replaced four actuators that control the heating and cooling a wire harness to my headlight this vehicle was in an accident and I was never told saying such the tail light will not come out to replace light the light bulb underneath the car theres a big tear in the frame from where it has been repossessed once before and the frame is also bent on the passenger side just under the passenger seat the rear subframe is rotted threw all four doors have rot holes on the bottom of the insidesI strongly recommend if you plan to purchase a vehicle from them to take it to another shop to have them diagnose any problems

We’ve had our car not even a month and we’ve had problem after problem. My husband took the car in a week after we bought it because of a screeching and squealing noise, not only when we turn, but when we drive, brake, and even just back up. The employee who “helped” him was incredibly disrespectful, rude, and claimed he didn’t hear any noise. (It’s loud. There’s no way he couldn’t hear it).So now we have an appointment over a week away, and we don’t even want to take it to them because we don’t trust them. Very shady, sneaky, untrustworthy. I doubly they’ll be able to correct this situation, but if they do I’ll update accordingly.But from what we’ve seen so far: STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY.

Dave helped me through the whole process, was more than willing to work with me on things I wanted for financing, purchase price, repairs on truck before delivery, everything you would expect from a quality dealer. Where do I start, Ive called numerous times never got a call back, had the car for less than 2 years and put a new transmission new brakes new ball joints new u-joint electrical problems no Carfax moldy speedometer and mold in dashboard, spent $9,000 on repairs since Ive had it and have all the receipts to prove it, I called and asked for a simple repair because of all the money I spent on it and they wouldnt even do that . I just suggest you think before you buy a car thats used. Make sure you get a Carfax and make sure you have a good warranty because they didnt offer me any of this and of course I needed a vehicle quick so I made a huge mistake! Its your decision if you want to buy a car here but I would definitely take it into a mechanic and have him check it over completely before purchasing. I couldnt even afford my car payments because of all the repairs I put into this POS. I should have known better!

Ive been a customer here for over 10 years, last purchase I bought a 2005 Ford F150 Crew cab FX4 cheap! had low miles on it. well i drive a LOT. 16 months later i come back just under the 100k mile mark to get the most for my trade in and inquired about a clean and loaded low mile 06 Trailblazer SS on the lot.. while i was there a customer was looking at my truck, and i only owed about 5k on it. Well an Hour later i (we) sold my truck on the spot to that customer for well over double what i owed and i drove away in the Trailblazer with over half down and nearly nothing for a payment... Dave arranged financing and i was absolutely satisfied. Russ, well that was a different story. driving away the truck stalled. he had some kid put a OBD reader on it and came back and told me to stop Flooring it well Russ, i was pulling out of the lot and it suddenly had no power, so i hit the gas.... nothing.... Needless to say later that day i found a broken off sidemount positive battery terminal that would intermittently disconnect when accelerating.. Dave told me to have a battery installed and he paid for it... all was fine until the truck burned up 2 years later due to an unfixed and unnotified recall on the wiring harness/ignition system... That in no way reflects the experience with Hamburg Motors, and Russ no longer works there. I was just pissed off that he assumed the customer is always wrong. Dave has always been Excellent in obtaining financing and service after the sale, and goes out of his way to obtain only low mile and southern trucks and SUVs....

I Bought my 2002 dodge dakota from Dave great time there super nice guy . i would recommend Dave to anyone . Wow very surprised to see bad reviews about this place im shocked!! ive been doing buisness here for 3 years and i got my wifes,daughters n my vehicles from ther it is always a pleasure when i have to speak to them or when its time to honor a guarntee like the gentleman said below paperwork is very hassle free its a family owned operation its dealerships like these we need to keep around so if your really looking for honest salesmen very good deals and just all around good buisness then look no further hamburg motors is the place for you

Horrible knew the coils were shot replaced one and left the others . Call leave a recorded message no one gets back to u horrible place I do not recommend anyone buy a car from them want money and they can careless after they r paid...

Not a dam thing both cars got got screwed over they wont fix anything thats there fault and do inspections that never should passed

Dealer sold me a junk vehicle nothing but problems from the beginning, does not have a real technician on hand to fix stuff properly just a backyard hack who butchers stuff together to get it out the door . vehicle obviously was not properly inspected before deliverey NEVER BUY JUNK FROM THIS GUY
