Was calling to see if they sold weather stripping for a Honda civic. It was 4:40, they close at 5pm. I understand it was late but I just needed a yes or no. The Front desk lady answered and politely transferred me to someone, who then transferred me to the parts department. After being on the phone for a total of 8 minutes and constant ringing, someone picked up and hung up on me. Youre on the clock til 5pm, not 4:50.

Overall the experience was good. Our sales guy Ryan was awesome and helpful and very patient and kind. In this buying environment they were charging a premium for cars. I dont think thats right. Thats why they get only 4 stars. I had no choice. I had to buy. My 97 CRV was going on 282000 miles and had some things happen to it. Not worth the money to fix. Ended up buying a new CRV. Everyone stayed very nice even when we would raise out voices. Wait till the car environment gets better to buy.

My husband and I were quite happy with the sales people we interacted with on 3/12/2021 as they were very laid back and not even a little bit pushy. Everyone seemed to be extremely knowledgeable about the features of each trim level on the model we were interested in (Civic) and could answer all questions immediately and thoroughly. Though we were only supposed to be test driving a few compact sedans from different brands/dealerships that day we ended up liking the Civic EX and after getting some food and thinking it over decided we were ready to just go ahead and buy. When we called we found that Shannon, the first salesperson we had worked with, was scheduled to leave at 4 and was already there late from helping another customer so we asked to schedule an appointment with her another day. Instead she stayed and worked with us that evening and saw us through to completion of the sale and she never once made us feel rushed or like we were a nuisance. She even offered to show us other colors of exterior and interior just be sure we wanted the combination we test drove. She took the time to go over features of the car and answer questions until I felt comfortable to drive it off the lot because our last vehicle purchase was in 2014 and things have REALLY changed! I would absolutely recommend working with her! The sales area of the dealership was bright and airy and clean and the music was at a reasonable volume (my husband is hard of hearing, lots of background noise makes hearing difficult), so that made the experience a more positive one as well. Im a pretty anxious person so Im never a fan of the financial and credit side of any sale or the high pressure tactics to get you to purchase an extended warranty so I wont review that portion since itll be colored with my own hang ups but the gentleman was pleasant and thorough and it didnt take an unreasonable amount of time. From this experience, and experiences we had with the dealership 20 years ago when we had a Civic previously I would definitely recommend them. Ask for Shannon when you go to buy and you wont be disappointed!

This is the most rediculous service department I have ever dealt with . Waited for over a week for an appointment to have a headlight assembly changed . Upon arrival my own dealer refuses to change the assembly because I didn’t but the part from them at double the money. I had a new part I brought. (Which is a certified Honda part). Never going there again !! Would give them zero stars if I could.

John brought a Civic sport hatchback and sedan to the front lot where we could compare both. His explanation of each car was delivered professionally and courteously. Hagerstown Honda service department is the best shop Ive ever been to. I used to be a person who hated getting my car serviced, because I felt so vulnerable to being taken advantage of, with my extremely limited knowledge of cars. I never feel that way now that Ive been going here. They always treat me with respect, theyre happy to educate me, and they have repeatedly gone above and beyond for me. Today they even suggested ways I can save money on needed repairs. I trust them completely. They have my business for life.

Everyone planning to come here should know that Hagerstown Honda is charging a market adjustment fee that you don’t find out about until you get there. There is nothing on their website about this charge. For the Ridgeline the fee is an extra $5k over the sticker price. Ouch!! I know all about supply and demand but not every dealer is doing this, and it sure feels like Hagerstown Honda is taking you for a ride…literally.

Ryan was excellent and very helpful. And knowing we lived in Pennsylvania, he went the extra mile and didnt install the front license plate bracket. However, when he learned we had a vanity plate, he gladly installed it. Great work! This is why we came back again.

My salesperson, Shannon, was great. She made it a very nice experience. I would deal with her again.But I thought I had gotten a really great deal. Less than a week later, I got an email from the dealership saying that they were offering 0% financing. I felt it was rude to tell me I got a great deal and turn around and offer an even better deal less than a week later when it was too late. This may be the car that takes me into retirement. If I do get another car, it will probably not be at Hagerstown Honda. I was deeply offended.

I wish I could give zero stars but Google insists on at least one star to post a review. Knowing this, my actual rating is 0. My wife was ready to buy a new car. I shopped the internet to assess the pricing landscape and found 2 local to us choices. I asked for qoutes from both Shockley Honda in Frederick and Hagerstown Honda. After receiving both I messaged Hagerstown Honda about a $2,000 increase between the posted internet price and the quote I received.The sales manager, Ian Smith, justified adding $2,000 to the advertised internet price with this, There is market adjustment applied to all-new Honda Civics at this time. Honda only allows dealerships to publish online MSRP. Any price adjustment up or down, is at the dealerships discretion. This is a direct quote. Shockley Honda in Frederick did not do this. I spoke with a salesman named William from Shockley to gain more knowledge of this practice. I sent the manager a screen shot of the quote from Shockley and said I guess I am heading to Frederick. His reply.....👍I asked about the practice of advertising one price and charging another but never received an answer. Screen shots of the conversation added for bona fides.This is the acme of hubris and an excellent way of ensuring your reputation as a bait and switch dealer. I guess the old jokes about car salesmen and their lack of morals and ethics holds true for Hagerstown Honda. I will be referring the conversation with Hagerstown Honda to the Better Business Bureau for further investigation. Avoid this business at all costs.P.S.We bought the Honda Civic from Shockley in Frederick.

What a wonderful car-buying experience! Over the course of several months, my wife and I had stopped in numerous times to satisfy myself that I wanted a 2020 Ridgeline and to review the trim level and color combination options. Over the course of these visits, we formed a relationship with Shannon Stevens and Brandon Fisher. By the time I was ready to pull the trigger in early November, inventory was so low in the entire region that Shannon had to search the inventory of other dealers. Within a matter of days, she found the model I wanted and in an acceptable color combination. From there, it was smooth sailing. Between them, Shannon and Brandon worked their magic and got me everything I wanted. Shannon was great to work with, very patient and personable. When it comes time to replace my wife’s 2016 Honda Pilot, I have no doubt that we will return to Hagerstown Honda and Shannon Stevens. On Christmas Eve, I finally spread my wings and bought a vehicle of my own. While I had originally communicated with the internet salesperson, upon arrival I did business with Ryan. He made the process of buying my first car enjoyable and exciting. As it was raining, he even arranged my that my car be brought into the garage for better showcasing. He was professional, kind, and lax. He was never pushy and even adjusted my offer based on my internet offer. Hagerstown Honda has never been pushy and always delivers quality service. There’s a reason they get such high ratings.

The customer service and mechanics at Hagerstown Honda are fantastic! My A/C compressor and components failed in my older Honda. I work on cars and know that you need a trained specialist to work on A/C systems so I wanted a professional to repair it. I got many different quotes from different independent automotive A/C repair shops in the Frederick/MoCo area and their quote prices and waiting times they listed were outrageous, $$$ way outta my ballpark!I got referred to Hagerstown Honda from family and spoke to Nathan in Parts and Service. He gave me a very honest fair quote and took the time to special order the parts needed for the job. The parts came in super fast and the car was serviced in a couple hours! Amazing! They even offered to repair my car before my scheduled appointment and kept me informed through the whole process! I am also very happy that I had a Honda specialist work on the car. Ryan Harnish was great. I was not sure what I wanted when Husband and I came in on Monday March 2021. Did know I wanted to trade current carI Kept asking to see this car and that car. Ryan did not mind and with a smile on face continue to get the car bring it around to be looked at. I was happy with the Kia Forte GT which I ended up getting. Ryan worked with me and everything worked out. My husband and I return on Tuesday March 23,2021 husband traded his car in and got the Kia K5. We both are happy with chose. We will be back.

My wife and I bought our first car from this dealership. Jim Smyly was our salesman and he was wonderful. He was patient, answered all of our questions, helped us decide what was best for our budget, it was incredibly stress free. I think the other gentlemans name we worked with was Rick.
