Stopped in today for a drink. I met Lee!She explained everything that goes on.Although not the great people that fill her stools and seats. What a group, they were great! First time there and I want to go back for fish fry and open mike! I’ve been known to play a tune or 3.Love the place it just isn’t a place to drink it’s a place to have fun.Didn’t experience clicks or other groups like in other legions. It’s just a nice place.Try it out!

Always have a good time there. The people are VERY Veteran-oriented; kind, very nice & helpful. 95% always greet me with a smile and thank me for my service, which I say, “No.. thank YOU for YOUR service!” And it just continues from there. :)

I had the worst experience of my life. We were there for a birthday party and the event planner was looking for a reason the entire time to stop the party. She didnt want children running. She complained that the DJ was too Loud. She accused the guest of smoking inside the building without confirming and wanted to stop the party at that time. She also accused our guest of bringing in beer from outside and threatened to stop the party again. At that point we all wanted the party to be over because she had already ruined our special Birthday for my sister. She sure ruined the day for all even our guest noticed she was just looking for something to happen. I would not want anyone else to go threw what we did so I would not recommend renting this place.

I rented the hall for my dads 60th birthday; I rented both floors roughly around $1,000.00. I met a lady by the name of Terri who does the tour of the location. Yes, they were very nice at first, but the day of the party was a different story. I had asked to come in the day before to decorate and bring in the supplies and utensils. Terri and I had communicated that I would have table linens for the second floor as she would provide the ones for the first floor, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! She stated I never told her she presumed I was going to bring them. I had to run out that same day and buy 15 of them. To make matters WORSE, I left 2 packets of plates and half of them were STOLEN. I confronted Terri about the missing plates, and she proceeded to tell me that is how I brought the plates in. HOW INSANE!!! I bought everything new for the party and for her to tell me that is how I brought them in. COMPLETELY WRONG OF HER TO TELL A PAYING CUSTOMER THEY ARE WRONG! I contracted a DJ which the bar manager told him to turn it down! It is a party and they knew I was having music. What do they expect. They also charge $150 for a bar setup, Im sorry isnt that your job to bring the alcohol to the bar that people are going to purchase. The party was in the beginning of August and Terri stated she would call me back to hear the outcome of how I would be reimbursed for my stolen plates. It is September 4th and I have yet to hear from her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING THIS LOCATION. They say the funds are for the veterans, but Terri makes commission of every rental she gets. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT!!! I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS BUT GOOGLE DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO.

Went there for my Granddaughters 21 Birthday and Graduation from Navy Boot Camp. Bright and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great 9-11 ceremony and group of 1st responders. The membership is fading, but the patriotism is not.

We just moved to Gurnee a few months ago from Arlington Heights and with the reguards to the actual place is seems to be close to being about the same. Arlington Heights does have a much of friendlier group of people that are patrons.
