I dont actually live here but I have a friend who does. His place is nice and the neighborhood seems quiet and peaceful. There were a few times he required maintenance for issues. The guy that came while I was there was extremely nice and helpful. He fixed the problem quickly and offered suggestions to avoid it happening again. Great gentleman. I dont recall his name but he has long hair and a big bushy beard. Kind of scary when you first meet him but he was great and really nice and funny.I would recommend living here. Clean, nice places and very friendly and helpful staff. Move in. You wont regret it!

Great experience working with the team at Osprey Lake, helping myself and my family find a new home in a hurry. Laura Arndt went above and beyond to help get us exactly what we were looking for in the time frame we had. I cant thank her and her team enough for how well they took care of us and got us settled into our new home.

Just moved in last week, so far so good, the apartment is luxurious, and I love it.I want to say that Ms. Laura Arndt was the best leasing consultant Ive worked in my life. From apartment showing to signing lease and moving in, she was absolute pleasant to work with. She has been extremely prompt and helpful in answering my questions and any concerns I had. I feel very lucky to have met Laura, because she made this moving process extremely pleasant.

Been here for a few weeks now. I must say so far so good. From time I came in Laura Arndt in the office has been nothing but helpful and the move in process was way smoother and quicker than even I expected. Laura is very attentive to any and everything you need. No complaints so far. Love it!

I went in to tour an apartment and I was quoted 1700 dollars for a NON RENOVATED unit. This differed from what I was told on the phone when setting up the tour.

Courtney in the leasing office has been such a help- 5 star customer service! From the start to hoping the finish! She has been extremely informative and great to work with!

So far I’m loving it! Moved in a week ago today. Laura was AMAZING through the whole process from showing me multiple places, listening to my concerns, helping with the paperwork & just everything! So far the noise level is amazing, like I literally hear nothing & no one & I’m on the 3rd floor of a 4 floor building so I’m loving that as that was my main concern moving to an apartment.

April Fox at this facility is the best! She went above and beyond assisting my sister in her long distance move to Gurnee, IL from Memphis Tn..We are just bowled over by her assistance in every aspect. She has made this transition for my sister so much easier for such an overwhelming task as moving your whole life; especially as a senior citizen.

The maintenance staff are amazing. They clear snow, make repairs, and are all around good people.

This place and the people are not only the best but the location is too. April in the management office was beyond helpful. I would reccomends this place to anyone looking for something .modern and beautiful. You get what you pay for, the prices are up there but the building and service speak for itself. I dont know how this place could get any bad reviews, a private lake and walking preserve, an in door pool, an outdoor pool. Plenty of yard space for your kid and pets, a fitness center, constantly doing events in the office. They have valet trash, you leave the can neatly cleanly tied up in the hallway and 5 days a week between 7 and 9 pm they come take it out for you. Attached garages directly into you home. Real granite, hard wood laminate flooring. Its just the best place Ive seen personally. Maintenance is quick and kind as well. 5 stars! Me and my wife and children love it. I couldnt be happier.

I moved from Oregon a week ago, so I was searching for the apartments online. Courtney, the manager who helped me, was amazing. She was very responsive and made me feel at ease with the decision. We love the apartment, so much light, everything is in great condition and just what was shown on the pictures on the website.

Leasing process was smooth. I specifically told leasing agent we were looking for a quiet place to live. On move in day we discovered that this place is extremely loud. I can clearly hear the neighbors, the toilet flushing, the doors in the hallway and the people in the hallway. The apartment itself is beautifully updated and spacious but the noise level is ridiculous.

I lived here for over 6 years and I was going to renew my lease again this week, but I found out this year my rent goes up over $180 a month. Instead of renewing my lease, I gave my notice.

We stayed here more than year and we love this place. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Courtney answered all the questions we had prior to moving and she continue to provide excellent customer service and respond to my inquiry really fast. She and other team members are really helpful. The maintenance crew are friendly and address the issue right way. We had no problem staying here. Thank you for your service!

Laura was incredibly helpful from the start of us initially looking at apartments all the way through the leasing process and during and after our move-in. Weve been here for almost two months and everything has been great. Maintenance is quick to respond to the few needs weve had, including replacing a smoke detector that started beeping at 11:15pm one night. We look forward to the many months ahead of us and cant wait for the outdoor pool to open in the summer!

April was very helpful during my tour. I did not choose to live at The Preserve but it had nothing to do with the complex. The apartments were clean and bright and the facilities were excellent.

I want to start off by saying Raquel is amazing at what she does! She is reliable, genuine and most importantly trustworthy. She was able to answer every single one of my questions, and guide me through the moving process from start to finish. Raquel is definitely the go to person if you ever need anything done! She was able to get me exactly what I was looking for in an apartment! I highly recommend Raquel to anyone who is thinking about moving into a new place. She is definitely the best!

April and Courtney, were incredibly helpful in my search for an apartment. Courtney helped me out tremendously last year when my search first started. She took me on tours of multiple different units and was patient in answering all the questions I had about the facility and amenities. I loved what I saw, but wanted to keep my options open, so I kept searching. A year later when I came to tour again, I met with April and she really sealed the deal on the space. The apartments are beautiful and the location is great. I’m very happy with my decision.

I had the pleasure to call this place home for the past three years. I moved here in April 2017 as I was stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes up until my transfer in July 2020. Getting to and from work is only a quick 12- 15 minute drive. It is very conveniently located as you are literally less than 10 minutes from Six Flags, Gurnee Mills, All major grocery and Home stores. From day one, April Fox has gone above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay here was absolutely perfect. The rent is a little on the pricier side but its worth it for what you get. The apartments are luxurious and upscale with updated appliances. Maintenance requests are taken care of the day of or the very next day at the latest. The apartments have 2 very nice pools with plenty of seating, a sauna, showers and very nice bathrooms. The fitness center has all the necessary workout equipment and is always clean and organized. There are also very nice tennis courts used by the residents. A small hidden secret is a forest preserve in the back that has a secluded trail and lake to walk. Overall my stay at the Preserve at Osprey Lake was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.

Raquel helped us find the perfect apartment. We had a lot of questions and we were really cautious about picking a new place because of past experience at another apartment but she was so nice and friendly. She was transparent about everything and eased all of our concerns. I’m really thankful she took the time to work with us and now we are all moved in and happy to call this community home. ❤️

The Preserve at Osprey Lake has been home for almost two years. I moved in following the death of my husband, and had never leased an apartment before. April Fox took me under her wing and walked me through the process of assessing floorplans, garage use, and all the logistics of apartment living. What a GREAT asset April is to this community and residents. Also, very important to note that any maintenance requests or concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. I feel very safe living at Osprey Lake and enjoy connecting with my neighbors and their pets!

The apartments are beautiful. The property is well maintained. I also felt very comfortable with Candice while setting up my appointment to view the apartments. She is very educated on the property, she makes you feel very comfortable to ask questions. She also makes you feel like family while discussing the perks of the property.

My wife and I made a very last second decision to move across country to be closer to family. We knew the general area we wanted to live in, but, only really had a week to find the apartment we were going to call home.I contacted multiple other management companies and either the apartments available didnt fit our moving date, out of budget, or I didnt get a good vibe from the person I was in contact with.I reached out to The Preserve at Osprey Lake as it appeared they had very nice looking newly rehabbed apartments that fit every criteria we needed, and then some we didnt even know we were looking for.Courtney Hallgren returned my request and instantly I felt at ease and at home. I didnt want the leasing office to necessarily hold my hand during the process, but, I wanted to know they would take care of things. And Courtney did that. Moving across country is stressful enough, I just didnt want to have to worry about anything once we drove the 2000 miles here.We handled 90% of everything over email, or their web system. Their process was so easy. Courtney provided us with PDFs of everything available in the complex and around the area. It really helped to get a general feel of everything before we even got here.We have only lived here now for a few weeks and the apartment is fantastic, and the people I have met around the complex are friendly. That is probably always subject to change, but, first impressions are key and so far ours has been great.

We found this place on Apartments.com and thought it looked good. It looked good and had a nice location to my work in Gurnee. Courtney was the one point of contact when I was trying to decide if this community is for me. She is knowledgeable about the place, courteous, respectful and always answered all my questions. This community is well lit, quiet and is close to the major expressway. So far, the crew did a good job clearing the snow. Request for minor repairs/adjustment in the apartment have been prompt and clean.The one issue I have which I have voiced to Courtney is the charge of $25 for Valet Trash! Who doesnt throw their own trash? It should be an option for those who are responsible to throw their own trash and not forced to pay that high a fee.

I had a great time during my time at The Preserve at Osprey Lake apartments. I worked with Raquel during the process, and she made my leasing experience much easier, especially since I moved during covid. I loved the lake behind the property. I only left as I decided to make a move back to Florida. This is a great apartment in the Gurnee, IL area. I looked at several while I was there.

I accidentally locked myself out of my building this morning at 7:15 am. I’ve noticed April arrives early and she was so kind to get me a building key 40 minutes before the main office opened. Saved me $175 locksmith fee and any additional time in the cold weather.

Well I have been here for 16 years. Most of them have been GREAT. I do have some concerns.....the lawn in the summer is now done like it was before....and I realize that things change....but it is not kept up like it use to be. Nobody comes around the grounds and checks. We had some work done outside on the pipes, the company that did the work covered it up and nobody checked (the company) on how the job was done, it is a year and the ground and NO grass is growing. Also what they did ....did NOT solve the problem of flooding coming across the sidewalk ... so NOTHING has been solved. And the area LOOKS terrible. The office staff and the maintenance employees are great, and I feel that they do a good job. Also the valet service in my mind is nice, however do not appreciate being a charge for something I CAN DO for myself. OLD people are suppose to have exercise and that is one of mine.

This apartment community is cozy and quiet with great amenities and an excellent staff. If the location and price are right for you then this is the best community in the area with fantastic units making this an overall amazing value with a wonderful move in experience. I moved in from out of town and the staff was more than helpful to set expectations and work with my timeline so that after driving for five days when I pulled in things were quick and easy and I was sitting in front of my fireplace in no time with zero fuss. Here you are within 20 minutes from anything you need and only minutes away from the important things. I definitely reccomend putting The Preserve at Osprey Lake on top of your list if your moving into the area!

April Fox, in the Leasing Office, does a Fantastic Job! She was so helpful to my daughter and I. She is very friendly, and so great to deal with. She helped us get into our Apartment quickly, and get a great Apartment! She did such a Great Job at that Valentines Party that you had for the whole complex, which by the way, was a very nice and sweet thing to do for your tenants. She helped us get a Garage really quickly as well! When I call for maintenance, she gets them to us quickly, and if we have any questions, she gets us answers right away. My daughter and I really think that she is Super, and does a Great Job!

I have heard in the past that it was nice to live here, but I would not recommend anyone to live here for the price and the appearance, when I moved in our apartment was dirty and not up to standard for a move in ready apartment. Price NOT worth it. There office is nice and well up kept but there outer building have been neglected.

I did get off to a rocky start with my apartment. My washing machine was not working, the dishwasher had a pool of water in it, there were tracks all over the floor, the toilet was not flushing properly, and there was a garbage bag and lots of debris in the carpeted bedroom.The office staff (especially April) turned it around, and the maintenance team were extremely responsive and fixed it all up in a day and a half. In my last apartment complex, I put im for a maintenance request and it took two weeks (!) so I was very happy and grateful for their attention and prompt service. The leasing office holds packages for you - and I’ve not known many apartment complexes that would even bother.Now that I’m settled, it’s been smooth sailing. The leasing office throws events every now and then for the community, the amenities at the complex are great, and the apartments are an incredible value for what you get. They feature very tall ceilings, lots of space, huge walk-in closets, updated appliances, laminated wood floors and in unit washer and dryer. My unit has a fireplace, making the unit feel like a real home.The Preserve is an outstanding value. I have referred a friend to the complex and wouldn’t be afraid to recommend it to anyone else. We did get off on the wrong foot, but the staff, the responsiveness and effectiveness of the maintenance team, and the affluent feel of the unit has definitely helped me forget about any of that.

I have been living here for last 10 months. The apartments are VERY good. You will find everything you need to have comfortable stay. The community has lots of amenities such as swimming pool (indoor/outdoor), tennis court, gym etc. They are maintained pretty well yet the tennis court would need some floor work. It would be nice to have outside parking benches to relax during evening time. Overall the community you would love to stay in.

This is my 3rd month staying here. First month was good but as more time is going by i’m starting to hate it! I’m paying $1,024 a month for a studio (yes the website says 970 but that’s before all the fees) my hot water runs out FAST, if all the vents aren’t closed for the AC, I get countless spiders, and my kitchen & washer/dryer is completely outdated! My pipes get easily backed up and no matter how many times I pour cleaner down my garbage disposal, it still gives out this awful smell! Did I mention half of my outlets don’t work either? Also, the lack of space! I asked if i could move to a 1 bedroom and they said I’d have to pay an additional $600 on top of rent being over $1,200 a month for that space.Can’t get a proper workout in the gym either considering the lack of equipment and how outdated everything is. Also when I went to the indoor pool, there was large amounts of hair all over the floor!DON’T LET THE NICE LOOKING CLUBHOUSE FOOL YOU! If I could end my lease today I would. I am not getting what I pay for.

I lived here for over 3 years and its great. Nice friendly staff especially Melissa. It has a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and the office accepts your larger mail to prevent theft. Parking can be an issue near the smaller 1 bed apartment buildings but no problems near the larger 2 bed. They also offer a free garage for a year which you can pay an extra $100 per month going forward. Maintenance is a little cheap but theyre always fast. I noticed a lot of military people stay here because its close to the naval base. The only issue I had was they increase your rent every year so I had to move eventually. But every apartment company does that so I didnt knock it a star.
