I have used Dependable AC on more than one occasion. The service is always quick, professional and performed at a fair price.It is never a good day when your AC fails, but I definitely know who to call if it does.

My experience with Dependable was an excellent experience. I called several other companies, most of which never even bothered to return my call. If a company doesnt call you back when you want to pay for service, the chances of them returning your call when you need warranty work are probably very poor. Dependable was prompt, courteous and competent. I called one afternoon for a quote and they were there early the next morning to replace my complete condenser unit. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. No games. No surprises. The price I was quoted was substantially less then other companies. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEPENDABLE AC & HEAT.

Do not think twice!! Call Dependable AC & Heat if you need any work done requiring their expertise. These guys are the real deal. Our unit had trouble holding onto freon and had to be refilled several times by other AC companies who didnt bother trying to look for a leak. These guys were available the same day I called and found the leak, and weve had no issues since. They are so polite and professional. On that service call, apparently the check I gave in payment got misplaced and wasnt found until three months later. Instead of just depositing the check out of the blue, the repairman went all the way to my old address listed on the check, which happened to be my parents address, to leave a hand written note explaining and apologizing for the mishap and to give me a heads-up that the check would be deposited soon. That kind of courtesy is a rare find these days, which is why I am not even mad that the check was misplaced and neither should his boss. With that said, boss man of Dependable AC & Heat, if you dont already have an Employee of the Month program, let him be the first 😁

Called Tommy with Dependable AC and Heat for an a/c that stopped working.on a VERY hot day. He was very responsive, got to my house quickly, immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. It’s working great now! Came home for lunch to discover that the A/C wasnt working and the house was already 86°. We have had Tommy out 3 times before for other issues, and I knew just who to call. He was out within 2 hours and had it fixed in 20 minutes! Since he was already there, we went ahead and had the unit serviced as well. He answered all questions that I had, and even explained how the system worked to me. His prices are extremely reasonable. We will not call any other air company! We consistently refer Dependable to all of our friends as well. They definitely have a customer for as long as were in Southern Mississippi!

Business owner replied to an online message I sent at 4 am by 7 am. He arrived for our appointment right on time, wasted no time diagnosing the problem, discussed how I can do better regular maintenance, and left our house cooling down nicely.If he is available, youll be hard pressed to find a better HVAC company on the Gulf Coast.

Ac went out on a Friday evening and Dependable Ac was out to evaluate, they got the fan that was needed, charged the unit with coolant, and had us all fixed up . Called Tommy at 8:15 and he was at my house by 8:30. Price was very fair, the lowest service call I could find. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way. Filled it up with Freon at a much lower price than the competitors charge. Highly recommended, local guy. Runs his own business so he can keep prices much lower than the local chain competitors.

Tommy came to my house to check out my air conditioner told me what was wrong with it told me how much it would cost to fix it. His prices are reasonable I told him to go a head and fix it. He had to get a part then he returned and fixed it. I highly recommend him.

Great local business, I called him on a Wednesday afternoon and he was able to come out the following morning. A huge factor to me was he helped diagnose my A/C over the phone, so I had a very good idea of what I was dealing with and what the cost was going to be. As far as the price he is very reasonable and one of the less expensive ones I found. He let me walk around with him as he serviced the units and answered any questions I had. As it turns out his over the phone diagnostics were correct and landed right in the price range I was expecting. There will only be one person I will call for my heating and a/c needs, and it is Dependable AC and Heat!

I have called on Dependable A/C and Heat many times and they have always done the best job and with a very quick turn around time. They have always been able to service our repairs on the same day as I call. I have recommended them many times and now have neighbors that have been extremely satisfied as well! I was having issues trying to fix my central air outside unit so after two weeks of not being able to figure it out I called. He came out a couple hours later and trouble shot the issue. He had us up and cooling within the hour. It was a bad part I had installed and he had a good one in his van. I am so great full for what he did I can’t express it enough. Called them and guy was out to fix my ac within 2 hours and Im all the way up in wiggins. On a Saturday too as well, I couldnt get 2 local companies to make it here on a weekday! I was very impressed he figured out the problem and had in fixed in about an hour or less. They will most definitely get my business from now on great company and employees!

I hired them to repair an older unit at my rental property. Being out of town and trying to get an honest person to do the job is always a gamblers chance. Tommy was able to get out at my rental property in the evening, fix the problem, and give me an HONEST opinion of my unit. I needed a whole new AC unit inside and out. The price for both the 4 ton Rheem unit and installation was way less than I thought it was going to be. Craig and the guys were finished in around 3 hours and then Tommy Howze went up in the attic with me to show me the unit and get all the information I would need to register it and then he registered it for me!! The outside unit is beautiful and they even cut away all the weeds that surrounded the old unit. I am so grateful for their excellent service!! Thanks sooo very much y’all!!!

Would never call any other business. First used Tommy three years ago on 4th of July weekend. He came out immediately and didnt overcharge us. You can trust that he and his protégé will fix what is broken and nothing more. Ive had too many friends tell me that theyll call an AC guy to come out and then theyre spending 5k on a new unit. Not with this company - honest and trustworthy.

I purchased a used A/C outdoor unit from them for $800 under condition that they guarantee it for at least 30 days. They agreed. Our mutual understanding was that after 30 days of use, the unit would most likely be free of issues and would work for our home for many years.It worked for 6 days. They came back and honored their warranty, but after a thorough inspection, found no issue with the unit short of being low in freon. They recharged it for the cost of the freon. This inspection involved them removing the fan and some electrical components which they were not able to reinstall competently without enlisting the help of another person.The unit quit cooling again 36 hours later. After believing their assessment that the unit wasnt faulty, I got another person to look at our inside unit, but no issues were found. However, a hole was found in the copper tubing inside the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit they personally inspected and found was in perfect working order. This hole was so big that the hiss of the escaping freon could be heard audibly. I found the problem by myself when they had not after their inspection.I contacted them again to report this finding so that they could come and fix the problem. They declined. We were only ten days into the 30-day warranty and they declined to fix the problem. Its the middle of July in Mississippi. My wife and I have a newborn in a sweltering house, and we had just emptied our meager savings to fix our A/C, and they declined to honor their guarantee. Their reasoning was that it was because I opened the unit. The hiss coming from the pipe was loud enough that it wasnt even necessary to do so in order to diagnose the problem, but I did so to insure it was actually occurring inside, because after all, their expert inspection cited that it was not the unit that was at fault.I then offered an alternative: A refund. Not a full refund, but minus their time and labor. I understand that loading and unloading an outdoor unit is no small task, as is the installation. I didnt want to short them of their due compensation for that, but the unit was obviously faulty. They still declined. I was out all of my money and left with a busted unit in place of the one that was previously working, but merely limping along. There we were stuck in the middle of July with a newborn in a hot home, and left with nothing after they took our last $800.I do not endorse this company or their skills, as they could not diagnose a very simple, and from what I understand, very common leak in the freon line inside the unit. I do not deny that they are courteous and pleasant folks. But they could not even reassemble the fan and wiring without calling for backup. Their name is on the business card and their truck. They are a business that should be able to handle that. I had decided to let this go, but was recently reminded of how horrid that summer was without an air conditioner and without $800 that would have more than covered 75% of the purchase of a brand new unit installed. Ill be putting this summary on Angies List and any other similar sites I can find. Call it petty, but it was obvious they got frustrated when they couldnt fix the problem, embarrassed that someone without any training identified the actual problem, or uncomfortable when I learned they needed help simply rewiring the fan, but they abandoned us and broke their warranty with us after taking our money.Blake MilamOcean Springs, MS

Fantabulous service. My call was answered, my problem heard, a call to schedule followed shortly, as promised. Appointment was scheduled the next day first thing in the morning, the technician showed up promptly and called ahead. Riley was very thorough and addressed all the concerns. He thoroughly cleaned my system and stopped the leak. I definitely recommend this company and will call them back in the future, if needed. My husband said he has never seen anybody work so hard and quickly. Very impressed!

My AC was leaking, the AC closet was wet and the flooring outside the closet was wet as well, I called Dependable AC they come and diagnose that water is coming from the roof from the AC vent. I get the roof vent fixed, a few days go by, AC is still leaking, I call back Dependable AC, this time they tell me they need to flush the line, which they do. A few days later, AC is still leaking. I called them, and explain Im calling again because of the leak and he tells me the first time they came out was just for a consult, not to fix the leak, and then start texting that Im a liar... Why would have called to get a consult when my AC closet and flooring were all wet, I needed the issue fixed. Best customer service ever! Everyone make mistakes, recognize your mistakes, and make it right with the customer, dont call them liars. Its not nice.
