Worth the read if you’re considering.Came here based on decent reviews as I’m newer to the area and needed a place for my sister and I to get our nails done last minute before a wedding.When I called to make our appointment days before for two manicures it was very pleasant so I had high hopes!When we arrived, the salon was clean but that’s pretty much the only positive thing I have to say. We were greeted very abruptly and shown to our seats across the salon from one another when there was not any other client getting their nails done and we could have sat near one another.I asked for a specific design and was told it would be $10 more...not a problem! But then I asked for a line of glitter (shown in photo) and was then told it would be ANOTHER $10. Being that I was in the wedding and we all did glitter I obliged and agreed but thought it outrageous to spend $20 more on this. The process was rushed and the tech was extremely rough when removing my existing gel polish to the point where I had to say “ow, please be gentle” multiple times.My sister’s nail tech used the drill to remove cuticles and filed into her skin. It got to the point where she had said “ow please be gentle I have very sensitive skin” multiple times, even I turned around and said could you please be more gentle. Didn’t matter. They just ignored us.When we completed the services, we went to pay and we both mentioned very politely that while we understand that we must pay, we were very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service we received. We were met with a blank stare and the tech reaching her hand out for my credit card with an attitude. I was appalled. I repeated that my sisters nails were “bubbly” and my nails had blank spots on the sides. They basically said we were wrong and continued with their own conversation. We awkwardly walked out.There are many other places out there to try. Don’t waste your time. The only reason I didn’t get up to leave during my appointment is because I was on a major time constraint and had to accept this horrid experience.One week later both of our nails have peeled up, chipped and shown multiple flaws. I walked in with no appointment and Nina was able to take me right away. I showed her a picture of want I wanted and she knew exactly want to do. She asked multiple times for me to check them to make sure they were perfect and she got them done in a timely manner. Love her work!! Even after i was done i noticed an imperfection and she fixed it right away! great place! I highly recommend Nina for acrylics!

Nina. Is. The. One! Not only did Ms. Nina find time on a busy Saturday afternoon for my walk in but she was attentive to what I wanted, was very detailed but not slow, was so kind and even talked to me about how a direction I was going in the design would not have made the finish look as polished. And she was so right. This was my first and will not be my last. It takes so long to find a salon that makes you feel pampered, is obviously hygienic and clean and a tech who is skilled. As much as I want to keep this awesome place to myself- I must share. Enjoy!

Best experience we ever had anywhere! They paid attention to detail, they were very passionate about their clients and the work they do. Kathy was absolutely amazing! She did my pedi and Jon did a full set on our daughter! They both took their time and everything was perfect. From the cleanliness, kindness, passion, atmosphere and all around comfortability was the BEST ever! You guys rock and are our go to! Thank you all!

One of the best salon experiences Ive ever had. I had Nina who worked on my acrylics, she was extremely kind, attentive, and was consistently making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Her work was diligent, I didnt feel any pain throughout my time with her, and the product came out amazing! I cant stress how great of an experience I had here, and I will be going back for every set of acrylics I get.

I saw Nina for my acrylics and gel polish- shes amazing! The shape is exactly what I wanted and she was so fast! The staff at GLO is very friendly and it is overall a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this place since they opened and have always enjoyed it until today. I went in around 2 and Nina said that they were only accepting appointments. I would not have a problem with that if they had that posted on the building or inside. She said that she does not have to post anything. Well guess what- she doesn’t realize that for good customer service you do need to post changes on how to acquire your service. I will never visit this place again because of her rudeness.

Probably one of the worst Acrylic fill ins I’ve ever had. The place is pretty clean and very beautiful however the service was terrible. I received my filling last Friday and already three of my nails lifted and one of my nails broke off and I have not done anything to cause that. The man that did my design seemed uninterested and did not want to add two colors to the tip of my nails (inso pic attached). Then I couldn’t find the two colors that I wanted and he said you need to find them whatever is out there is there and was unwilling to help me. Also the shape of my nails are not nice. I also had a pedicure and when he was done with the pedicure he painted my toenails at the manicure chair. He sat on the floor in front of me and painted them there. I thought it was the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced.

My 8 yr old daughter and I received pedicures today and they were very helpful and attentive. I especially enjoyed the service it included a very relaxing massage. The environment is very clean and decoratively chic. We will surely be coming back soon. I would recommend anyone to visit. They have shellac and regular nail polish available.

I loved it here! today was my first visit and i was a little nervous what i wanted would be too hard since i was told by multiple salons it was too difficult, but Nina got them done so quickly and they turned out so cute! very good service, very professional, and very clean salon! not too expensive at all, and all the techs are very kind. hands down best quality nails ive ever had; i definitely will be going back next time i need a set!

I went in for a dip manicure and already had dip on my nails. Any other place will soak your dip off so you don’t ruin the nails. The technician I worked with here used acrylic nail tips to pry / chip the old dip off of my nails which broke and tore my real nails. No soaking was used.It was a fairly painful manicure and I walked out with cuticles still surrounding my nail beds. The dip job LOOKED decent enough so I thought I’d let it go. This was Friday. It’s now Wednesday and all my nails are chipping or popping off. I’ve never had an experience like this.

I always love getting pedicures here, I feel very comfortable and pampered and they always do a good job! I got a manicure for the first time recently and Nina was amazing! I came in with an idea of what I wanted for engagement pictures and they turned out even better than what I expected!

Amazing. I’m so happy, I never get my nails done bc I’ve had really bad experiences everywhere else I’ve tried. They’re perfect, my skin is happy, a very relaxing vibe in there and all the technicians are super nice. 10/10

If youre considering getting your nails done here...dont. I needed a quick gel manicure done before my maternity photos this evening and it was a disaster start to finish. The woman was impatient to soak off my old gel shellac polish and used her sanding tool instead of giving it the time needed to soak off naturally with the acetone. She didnt even remove all the old polish, leaving chunks behind and the dust all over my hands thru the entire service. She proceeded with the manicure, barely trimming my cuticles, and started painting my nails with the white shade I chose in thick, chunky, uneven coats. She was satisfied after two, but I wasnt because the polish still looked awful, so I asked for a third. She did, but to no better quality, adding even more chunkiness and bubbles to the final coat. She squeezed a tiny bit of cuticle oil in her hands, but didnt even bother to massage into each finger, then told me to wash my hands. I came back to my seat and she asked me to pay - no hand lotion/massage, final check-in or anything. I will never come back here, even though its within walking distance of my house. I should have asked for a refund, but didnt have time to get them re-done. Lets hope my photographer can hide these or edit them.

My nail tech was Jon he did an awesome job!! i love going to Glo to get my nails done it’s my favorite nail salon, i always get exactly what i asked for and more at a reasonable price. Jon was very kind and patient and is very good at recreating designs. 10/10 recommend Glo if you want good quality nails at a good price!! :)

All the previous nail salons I have gone to I always feel like they are rushing to get you in and out so they can get to there next client and make more money...quantity over quality. BUT at GLO nails I have NEVER felt that way. Nina always takes her time to make my nails look beautiful and always askes me if I like what she is doing while she is doing my nails. I can come in with a picture of what I want done and she makes it happen without making me feel like it is too much. She is also doing an amazing job with helping me grow out and reshape my eyebrows (which I have been trying to do for years with no luck) Nina took the time to show me how to fill in the areas I am trying to grow in with an eyebrow pencil so I dont feel self conscious about that awkward faze when the hairs are starting to grow back. There salon is clean and feels like a high end nail salon as soon as you walk in. I love this place and refuse to go anywhere else to get my nails and eyebrows done. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💅♥️

Ehhh, I just moved to the area & was looking forward to going a new place to get my monthly pedicure but I don’t think I’ll be returning... I arrived on time for my appointment & was greeted by the women (which is great!) but the gentleman seemed extremely annoyed that another appointment arrived... and to my luck he was the one doing my pedicure.. Extremely forceful and in a rush the entire time.... I went with another person who’s pedicure was started before mine yet mine was done first... and pretty poorly... but given the uncomfortably that was already there and the forcefulness with my feet I definitely didn’t want to stay any longer than I was already there for, so I said it was ok. The second he was done with my pedicure he went to smoke a cigarette... Really bad customer service if you ask me.. I’ll definitely not be back. 🤦‍♀️

I have been going to see Nina for about 3 months now. She is AMAZING. She understood from the start that while I like acrylic nails I like them as natural as possible. My first time she went out of her way to call me and make sure I loved my nails. She’s quick, professional and does all the jazzy nail art of you’re into that. Ask for Nina and leave happy!

Very clean. Covid safe. Nail technicians wear masks. Most customers wear masks. They take phone numbers for contact tracing. Service is really good especially if you make an appointment ahead.

This nail salon is truly awesome. From the greeting at the reception area, until the final massage of my pedicure! Be prepared to pamper yourself, and leave your troubles at the door. This is a discriminatory Establishment!!!! I walked into this establishment for as a walk-in for a pedicure. There was a customer in front of me whom expresses she called to make an appointment and they told her she did not need one just to come in. As a walk-in which are suppose to be welcome they told me they didn’t have anyone and I needed an appointment. I did ask for a particular person who did not come in until later but I was willing to wait for the next available. Again they expressed they couldn’t wait on me because I did not have an appointment. Everyone in the establishment at the time was either Asian or Caucasian, and I’m African-American. I believe they refused to service or accommodate me because I was African-American. I visited here once in which I was please, but my second return was extremely displeasing and the energy was off. will never visit here again!!

I’ve been going to GLO for 2 years now. Every time I come in, I leave with beautiful nails. They give the best pedicures and have a great range of colors for dip, gel and regular polish! I would recommend this place to everyone in the area!

The nail tech cut my fingers several times and then sprayed alcohol on them. I asked for coffin shape and got square that weren’t all even. And my fingers were left looking very crusty and painful.

Updated 8/20/21 second week I’ve came soon as they open no one has been able to service me. They tell me to make an appointment no one answers, they can’t explain how to make an appointment. I thought I liked this place they was giving such good service now it’s going down hill. Never again. They are getting rude, every time I come. My money will be treated better elsewhere.

I had the best pedicure ever!! My pedicurist was VERY meticulous- an actual professional, equipped with ALL of the tools to service feet and legs. She should have had a tool belt for her supplies LOL. She removed calluses and ingrown toe nails that no one has even attempted at other salons. She knew the exact pressure points on my feet, and handled them with care and concern, that I had never experienced! The only reason it is not a 5-star is because I waited an hour, while my feet were soaking, and no one explained to me why I was waiting for so long, as I was under the impression it would be 15-20 minutes. Otherwise, I would certainly go back just for her!

If you want to be treated with respect and not have the police called on you, I would not visit this location. My sister and I visited GLO for a pedicure and manicure with dip powder. While getting our pedicure the workers acted as if they could not help us find colors that would match our nails and toes. After the pedicure things got even worst, my sister was told to pay for her nails before the service was complete. The owner said she must pay for all of her services because they had people’s who did not pay which honestly had nothing to do with us. She refused and said she would pay for her pedicure so that the worker who serviced her could go home. The owner told her she would be required to use an ATM because they only accept cash. This policy is no where posted in the location. My sister told the owner she would be paying with her card and he rudely asked her if she had her ID. She paid for her pedicure and proceeded to wait for someone to do her nails. When asking who would be doing her nails the nail tech next to me told us that everyone left because they were scared. I’m not sure what they would be scared of. We proceeded to ask the owner why no one told her that no one could do her nails after starting the service. He told us that they had the right to choose to not service her because they are independent contractors. My sister proceeded to speak with the owner who was now in his office calling the police saying that we would not leave which was a lie because they never asked us to leave. Thankfully, the police were understanding and saw that we were sitting in the car leaving which showed that what the owner said was a lie. I would recommend no one ever go to this establishment. We are truly scarred from this experience. What we thought would be a relaxing time turned into a nightmare. We are thankful that it did not turn out worst.

The pedicure I had was great. However, the full set manicure was not worth $70. The nail technician was too rough. She cut my fingers with the nail file which I didn’t notice I was home. The acrylic was applied too thick.

Wonderful customer service and thorough services, all for affordable prices. The establishment is clean and comfortable with a very luxurious feel. The pedis last for weeks and weeks. The waxing service was exceptional. I have sensitive skin and had no irritation even hours later. They have a huge range of shellac colors to choose from and the pedi packages are spa level. Choose this place you won’t be disappointed. PS - bring a couple of quarters just in case for street parking meters.

My bill was $78 dollars, I got a (manicure) and my girlfriend got (mani and pedicure service). I paid for her service and left very satisfying tip. I paid for my service and did not leave a tip because I left a large tip on my girlfriends tab. They threw a fit because I didnt tip on my service specifically. I explained to them on top of $78 I left 13 dollar tip. They explained that each individual worker get their own tip, which is completely understandable It could of been a easy fix. Until they asked me NOT to come back. 😒 I thought that was very unkind especially for how much money I spent. Tips are NOT mandatory, I should not have been pressured bcuz of the miscommunication and further humiliated by being asked NOT to come back. They were RUDE.

When I entered I let the woman know that we needed manicures and pedicures and this was my daughters first time. She began to put us in a room with three pedicure chairs with one person sitting in the middle. I asked to sit next to my daughter and they made me feel uncomfortable. The next issue is my daughter is special needs and she is 18, but she looks like a 10 or 11 year old. Mentally she is around 7 years old. While getting a pedicure, she laid a hot towel on my daughters legs and walked away. My daughter started shaking and crying and I had to yell for her to take the towel off and let it cool off more! As much as they knew I wanted to stay next to her, when we got manicure, they put her on the opposite side of the room that I was on. I had to turn all the way around to check on her constantly. I also had previous nails that I asked to be removed. My nail technician proceeded to push a nail tip up under my acrylic and rip off the nail causing half of my natural nail to rip off also. I explained to her that I did not want that done and she constantly tried to do it. I asked her to just file it down and dont worry about getting it completely off. She wrapped them in foil for a few minutes then filed horrible dents in my natural nails and did not use a hand file like I constantly asked. I also have a broken wrist on my right hand and I horribly needed the manicure but she did not do such a good job with removing dead skin on my fingers and I had to do the work myself. I was not happy with this being our first experience and the ratings were so high. I paid over $170 and not happy with this experience. Will not return.
