I’ve always been nervous about going to the dentist. I went to Aspen Dental in Gresham. I’ve always been scared to see a Dentist, I especially hate having the part where they put molding material in my mouth. I have on occasion puked. I again needed to have a mold of my mouth. This time I did great. If I have to see the Dentist, I will always go to Aspen Dental in Gresham, Oregon. I have a bit of dental work that needs to be done. I’ll post again on my progress.

I’ve been going to the same dentist for 35 years, so I was nervous about trying somewhere new. The Gresham Aspen did not disappoint! I had a fantastic experience with every employee I encountered and I appreciated them creating a plan to improve my dental health!

The dentist at Aspen Denntal turned me away when I was in excruciating pain and needed a tooth extracted. He told me that he didnt feel comfortable doing the extra because I am a special case. Then they tried to charge me $150 for only doing ONE X-ray. Luckily they had a coupon for a free visit so I used that because I will never be visiting one of their locations ever again. I called another dentist and was able to get the tooth extracted the same day. Do not waste your time or money going to Aspen Dental. The dentist will try to convince you to pay for additional dental work and procedures even if they are unwilling to do the work you came in for. The only person there who was of any help was the dental assistant who understood my situation and made sure I didnt pay for things that I didnt need.

Very educated staff. They will walk you through any thing if you need them to. They we Ill explain anything you ask. Doc was amazing, the hygienist was amazing. They have a payment program as well.

Very friendly compationate people all around. Hadnt been to the dentist in a very long time. They explained in detail about everything from teeth and gum problems to billing management. Would definitely recommend this group to for all types. 👍😊

I went to Aspen Dental because I had an infected wisdom tooth. The woman I spoke to on the phone before making my appointment said they would be able to give me antibiotics for the infection. After the initial exam and xrays, I was taken to a desk to discuss treatment options. I stated that I needed to speak to my partner as the next appointment would have been very expensive and it would have been half of the payment to schedule. I asked about the antibiotic as I was in severe pain and needed it treated and I was told they cannot give me the antibiotic unless I scheduled the next appointment. It is crazy to me that the option to buy the antibiotic outright to treat an infection that could be so dangerous was not available unless I would have been able to pay for half of an over 1k next visit. So much for going to an actual dentist for dental care, but thank goodness for urgent care.

I thought they were pretty good at taking care of what they could I fixed to have dentures made so I will let you know how that goes

Casey is amazing at the Gresham office! Excellent customer service. She has gone above and beyond, helping me. Casey is awesome, knowledgeable, kind, upbeat, funny, and just so sweet and truly a joy to deal with at a dental office. In todays mostly negative society, she truly is a light, and I thought everyone should know that and know how much I value her help and assistance.

The Dentist and staff are so smiles! They are very understanding and make you feel at home, determined to make you smile! Go there, it’s all around great! Super clean and sanitized too! Oh the finance lady rocked!

My experience with Aspen was satisfactory until the last fitting. I got a sore in my upper left him. Can not wear my new dentures because of the sore spot. Other than that, my experience has been been very good.

Did not like the X-ray machine process. The gadget that went in the mouth was very hard on sensitive gums. And the process was painful. Wish the dentist would slow down a bit and talk to the patient rather than at the patient. But he is young so will learn this eventually. The dental hygienist was fantastic!

As someone who has a huge dental phobia thanks to the childhood dentist, they were super friendly and understanding. Glad I picked them. Will get the rest of my dental work done here and all future dental needs.

I have never left a negative review for a business before. Aspen deserves it. While I have great oral health, I was needing some work (including a crown) after a broken molar, Aspen was the closest office in my insurance network. Going there, I initially was concerned by the run-down state of the office (peeling paint, dirty floors) and the listless demeanor of the staff, but hey--its a dentist. How bad can they be?The answer? BAD. With the exception of one hygienist, every person with whom I interacted seemed simultaneously depressed and distracted. Neither of the two (very young, like straight-out-of-school young) dentists who worked with me even bothered to introduce themselves by name, to speak with me with decent chairside manner, or to show general professionalism like one would expect from a medical worker with a terminal degree.The temporary crown that one assistant installed was her first, so she was passively coached through it by the dentist. She made such a mess with the cement that on my next appointment special care was needed to get the flecks of cement out of my irritated gums where she had worked. In addition to this, the final seating of the permanent crown was poorly done (the dentist was literally checking his phone while waiting for various aspects of the process), and ended up riding too high--which was not fixed adequately and negatively impacted my bite until fixed after I changed dentists.I could go on--there was miscommunication on their end about charges, confusion with paperwork, and other (minor) headaches that seemed understandable but also unnecessary and to call into wider question the management practices of the clinic.I changed to BrightNow, just up the street, and the contrast was striking.In sum, Aspen seems to me like a denture mill that caters to emergency or very low income dentistry needs. In my experience, they were careless, unprofessional, and consistently disappointing. If you can go elsewhere, I encourage that you do.

I had a series of problems with Aspen Dental in Gresham ending in the making of a partial. Twice they tried to pawn off on me the worst partials with teeth two small and extra gum material. My family could not believe I even gave them another chance after the first one. They claim the lab they work with is in New York and that’s why the problems. Go anywhere but to this dentist!

I had an Abscess come on of course over Friday night! I called and got a live person named Angela who was very sweet and got me scheduled for Monday morning! I had NEVER been to Aspen Dental ! That impressed me! Dr. Garcia came in and told me what my options were and made a plan! Flash forward 1 day I needed to have that tooth pulled which was attached to my crown so another plan was made in seconds! He’s always thinking ahead! Dr Garcia is very warm and caring! I had horrible tooth pain and didnt sleep at all Wednesday night so I called a dentist office that said they could get me a phone appointment for Tuesday. I almost had a breakdown cuz I couldnt wait that long and I was desperate to get out of pain. A friend of mine suggested Aspen dental. I called them and got an appointment the same day. Went in and got the problem teeth pulled and was able to go home and get some sleep. Thank you Aspen dental. I recommend going to Aspen if you need dental work done.

We have all good things to say about this Aspen Dental in Portland Oregon. We were unhappy with prices and service at our home town dentist. Staff super helpful. Very impressed that before Official COVID closures they were practicing social distancing and masks and cleaning. My husband is in immunotherapy cancer treatment and they have taken extra precautions with him.I like that if needed we can do a finance plan as we are retired and no dental insurance.Even though we drive 80 miles; way more cost effective and excellent care. I had never been here before and am very self conscious of my teeth and from the moment I came in I felt comfortable. The girl who took my x Rays ended up being my hygienist at my next cleaning appointment. She was patient, understanding and really showed me she cared. Also the woman at the billing area made me feel like we had known eachother for years. Thank you for being so kind girls you have been amazing so far. You really dont know how much that means to a person terrified to come in. I hope my dentist is as sweet. See you all tomorrow. :)

They were great and after laying out my options let me make the decision. I have been to other dentists who treat me like I am not able to make a rational decision even refusing to perform reasonable work I requested. This was not the case here. I would whole heartedly refer people to them for their dental care.

Went to this location to get a consultation about possible wisdom tooth removal. It was my first time at this location and with Aspen Dental in general. The front staff was incredibly nice, but both the doctor and the hygienist were very short with me and seemed extremely annoyed by me. After looking briefly at my X-Rays, the doctor told me I needed to have my gums evaluated but they seemed like they weren’t in great condition. I was surprised because I’ve never had a dentist tell me I had bad teeth and I know I have at least moderate dental hygiene. The dental hygienist was extremely rough with me and told me I had a whole bunch of very deep pockets in my gums and that I had moderate periodontitis and that I would need a deep cleaning before they would move forward (again I was there for my wisdom teeth) and that since the gum disease is irreversible I would need to come back at least every 4 months for a deep cleaning and after the first year I should come in at least every 6 months for both a deep cleaning AND a regular cleaning. At the end of the visit they did a treatment plan write up which showed that to start fixing the gum disease the treatment would be $1,500...just to start. I felt uneasy so I called my previous dentist, whom I only left due to moving so far away, and he recommended me a different dentist. Went to the new dentist a week later, and they told me the exact opposite. Told me I have healthy gums (like I’ve always been told) told me everything looked good, they also measured my gums and told me the pockets were all in the healthy range as opposed to Aspen dental who told me all of the pockets were MUCH bigger and far from the healthy range. Had I not had my own suspicions, I would be put a LOT of time and money all because they thought they could take advantage of me. I would give them zero stars if possible. Do your research before going to a new dentist.

Im not a huge fan of going to the dentist (Who is?) but the Aspen Dental team in Gresham were great. They got me in right away for the consult and x-rays, then got me in the next day for my cleaning. They gave me a quote with everything they wanted to have done and gave me affordable financing options for them.Very easy and convenient. I will be going back.

Had to wait over an hour before the dentist even saw me and they still haven’t contacted me with a estimate. Thought they would be much better then that. Was very disappointed.

Went there Wednesday and was done by Friday. excellent job on the extraction. took great care of us. Worked with us on the price. I would recommend Aspen to everyone. Not as smooth an operation as expected. Two appointments rescheduled by the office. Person doing xrays and charting didnt seem fully trained. Hygienist and doctor were great. Not liking the open style if the rooms.

Dr. Garcia and his staff were awesome! I was under so much stress being at the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable and worry free. They explained everything they were doing as they performed my root canal and it was pain free. They are my preferred dentist now.

This is my new dentist. They were very pleasant and professional and solved my dental problem. I am on Medicare and they solved my problem at a minimal cost. I will return to them and give them referrals to my Senior counterparts.

Went because first appointment and x-rays was advertised as free! Receptionist after appointment assured me it was free. Then got a $97 bill in the mail. Never going back!

The team is great. The dentist was straightforward, very kind and patient. I came here for some work that wasn’t covered under my insurance, and am now wishing this office could be my regular dentist.

First time there, I was told I need deep cleaning. They told me 2hours for $1,200. I paid before the work was done and made an appointment. The lady actually too one hour to finish my cleaning and not even a deep cleaning. I did not show up for later cleaning appointment. Aspen, if you did one hour why charged me for two hours? Avoid this place.

My experience here was excellent with the front staff, especially Chris who was courteous and helpful. The Denture Lab is excellent and also the people who take impressions. The one exception I have is with the dentist there, Dr. Tyce. Warning: he is not pleasant to work with and is very arrogant and rude. He ruined my dentures and I could no longer wear them! Thankfully the Lab was able to fix them.

Nice visit, except for Francesca....she was awesome. With a very artistic and effective one handed technique with the polisher . . . most impressive! It was actually a fun afternoon.

I needed a dentist for a broken tooth so I called around on Saturday. A call center set me up for a new patient visit on Monday. Monday morning I had Xrays done and a dental plan set up. Came back the same day for a cleaning by an awesome lady with small hands. Then Tuesday morning back for a filling that took under an hour! Next appointment is Friday for the broken tooth by a specialist while the rest of the staff is off. Im very impressed by the speed of everything and the staff is all super friendly. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

The up front staff seems to be in a good mood and able to do a good job, dealing with the public and keeping a smile on their face is NOT always easy. Since I’m self employed and understand completely... my appointment was with Franceska for my hygiene cleaning. She made it seem like I’ve known her for awhile, and did a great job.

Quick service. Doc and assistants took great care to make me comfortable. Easy going crew. They also drew up a really affordable treatment plan. Top notch.

As someone who works in the healthcare industry and experience dealing with Gresham Aspen Dental, I recommend patients contact their insurance if there’s any discrepancy with overcharge(s). I also recommend patients get a second consult if Gresham Aspen Dental encourages you to get unnecessary procedure(s) AND file a complaint against Aspen Dental with your insurance. PPO’s have what’s called ‘allowable charge for service’. FUN FACT: If a dental office or ‘preferred provider’ like Aspen Dental says charges should be $200 and insurance says it should only be $170, that clinic has to write off the rest of the $30 or risk losing their status as being a preferred provider. — this goes for any medical or dental clinic that’s considered a preferred provider with the patient’s insurance.

This Aspen dental has the most unprofessional, mean spirited, rude, cocky incompetent staff I have ever encountered. I went to get my an x-ray done. The girl was about to do my x-ray without the protective vest. I had to remind her. The cocky unprofessional Dr. Was just rude. I have never been treated the way they treated me. They did not care about my needs. The stupid, cocky, unprofessional Dr. Called me a liar in so many words. I told them this is why I left them to go elsewhere. There were other issues I have with them I would end up writing a book. I would never ever recommend anyone coming to this Aspen Dental. I wish I could give them a 0 on the scale.

This dentist office is truly so amazing. I was in such pain and they did everything they could do to get me financed quickly and on the road to recovery! Great place! Convenient hours, nice folks, works with my insurance and a competent staff. I go in 4 times a year for a cleaning, for about 3 years now. Although the staff sometimes changes, the service doesnt; its been consistently really good.

I was Pleasantly Surprised on How Fast they say they can replace my missing teeth. Also how they Were Able to Finance the Restoration of my Smile with Bad Credit & collections on my record & no Dental Insurance. The Office is Very Professional & Make Every Effort to make patients at ease & Didnt Run Screaming in Horror when seeing me Or Credit Report!

Never sent the info to my insurance, so now here we are months later and Im getting collections notices. I now have to go to the extra effort to fix this. In that vein I attempted to contact them, but their office hours are so inconvenient that getting a hold of someone is an added struggle. This is my first experience with them. I wont be returning.

The first time I came in, the doctor talked about whether or not they would make it to their lunch break on time, the entire he worked on my cavities. I felt like I was rushed.And then I just came back in to get the rest of my fillings done. I waited in the waiting room for an hour before they finally called me back to sit in a chair for another 15 minutes. Then the doctor proceeded to give me my numbing shots, drilled my teeth and then LET ME SIT AGAIN for another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I had to pee and looked for a staff member for about five minutes before finally walking up front to ask the receptionist. When the doctor came back to fill the cavities, she says I missed a spot. Let me drill it off real quick. OUCH. She had waited so long that the numbing medicine was not working how it was and I jumped and said, yeah that hurts. She says, oh. And then just continues to fill my cavities. I will NEVER go back there again.

Professional, caring, answered all my questions

First dentist office I have been to where they fit me right in, did an exam, discussed all the recommended procedures and different options. Then layed everything out on paper what everything costs me after what insurance is going to cover and then gave me a # of different payment options. Most places just give you a bill later and its usually outrageous what you end up paying. The other great thing was that from the time I went back to get worked on, it seemed as all attention was on me and everything went very quick and smooth. Love this place. Ill never go anywhere else and will recommend everyone go there.

Popped a tooth out of my plate. Took it in and had it back in 1 hour good as new. The staff was extemely helpful and everything was handled quickly an efficiently. Very pleased.

Overly rude, smart alec staff. They talk down to you because they think patients dont know any better. I work in the dental field for a corporate chain and I know how Aspen treats their patients and how incompetent they are regarding treatment would NEVER fly at our company. I do plan on filing a complaint.

I felt like they actually cared about my dental wellness. I went to Kaiser last year and they just glazed over the details but the Dr. and Hygenist both explained in plain and understandable terms exactly what was going on in my mouth and what the plan was to bring things up to par.It was a great experience and I look forward to my next appointment.

I had an emergency the day before Thanksgiving. My partial broke in half and my usual guy was out of town till December 5th. I was frantic, praying I could find some immediate help. I called several places with no luck then I called Aspen Dental and they fit me in the same day! Within three hours I was seeing a dentist and less than an hour later my partial was fixed! And they did a fantastic job. Im beyond impressed! Aspen Dental literally saved the day! They came to my rescue on such short notice and I wasnt even a regular patient! The staff was so kind and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental. They really are the best. My only complaint is they dont take OHP insurance. Otherwise ********** ten stars!
