These fellas were amazing!! Our AC went out last night at 9pm so I started a Google search for local repairmen and did a quote inquiry on Google (easiest thing ever) and he replied to me within 5 mins with a quote to diagnose the issue and a time frame of 11a-1p the following morning that hed be here. Our 19-year old A/C gave out and after several calls to different companies, Eric was the only one who not only responded, but showed up in person within a couple hours. He professionally explained what we needed, gave us a quote and started the ball rolling. We were aboard a Trane and out of the suffocating heat by the third day. They helped us with uneven air flow and temperature issues by adding a damper to even out the air flow between bedrooms and adding a sensor to better even the temperature between floors. I used Eric as my AC specialist while in the process of buying my home. He was so through and knowledgeable that I used him after I closed on the house to install a new upgraded central air unit. Eric and his team have replaced two of our units over the past year. We drug our feet replacing them because we knew it was going to cost us a small fortune. June 23, 2020 --Had them come back out to do a tuneup and found some issues from the previous installer. Fixed and tuned up both systems and let me know how things were.Great service as usual.~~A/C in an older unit went out in the middle of the night. Left a VM 1st thing in the morning with A/C Medic and they called quickly and setup an appointment for today (9/10/19). Came out and immediately figured out the capacitor was blown. After having a company come out to look at my ac unit Saturday, and telling us we needed to replace whole ac unit, we were told that company could do job on Sunday. Sunday came and went without any calls so we called AC Medic after being referred by friend. AC Medic came out on Sunday, and not only diagnosed but fixed problem and ac is running great and house is ice cold for less than $500 saving us near $4000. I would make AC Medic my first call for any ac needs and definitely my second opinion call if any company has told you that you need to replace your ac unit.

We came back from vacation to find our A/C not working. It was late in the afternoon, and I found AC Medic via Google (were fairly new to the area, and didnt know anyone), so I gave them a call. I met Eric the owner of AC Medic back in 2018 when I wanted my duct work replaced. He and his team did a good job replacing the duct work and charged a fair price(I had two other quotes and his was the best). When my furnace stopped working later on he came out personally and did a test and believed that I had a dangerous carbon monoxide situation with the furnace and believed it best to replace the whole system. I thought he was trying to sell me something and had a couple other companies assess my situation. Two other companies thought I didnt have a problem but I had one of the companies come back and do some extra work on my furnace when they discovered the same situation that Eric had origInally discovered without charging extra to find out. Eric is an outstanding owner and if you want GOOD JOB DONE RIGHT hire his company to do it. They were true to the price and I got a better system than what the other companies were quoting. I had AC Medic out to give me a quote on a new AC and Heating replacement. For the equipment I chose, I found the quote very reasonable. We scheduled a time to perform the replacement. They showed up on time and had everything completed by late afternoon. The temperature in the house was unbearable at that time. I set the thermostat at 76 deg. and overnight that temp was achieved and is constant even though the outside temp is 97 deg today.Money well spent. Thank you

A/C Medic did a great install on our new system, a little difficult to get in touch with at times but it was a busy time of year (mid-July). They listened to our needs and did what we asked, our home is quite comfortable now. The price was reasonable for the work completed, much better than some quotes we got and comparable to others that offered less service and lower quality systems. Glad to have AC in our home now that we dont have to worry about.

This is definitely one of the best HVAC installers in the upstate. Eric is very knowledgeable. Any questions I had, he had an educated answer. He is also an experienced technician that puts him a level above most salesmen. We installed the Trane XL15c with the Trane Nexia XL824 WiFi thermostat. We only had to wait a couple days to get the unit installed. The installation was done in 4hrs! Lucky the installers only ran into some slight problems from other older installations but to me that’s really a fast. I Definitely recommend A/C Medic to any one needing a new HVAC.

I came home from vacation to a house that was 94 degrees inside. I called Eric Tappan after he was recommended to me by someone else. Within 30 minutes, he was at my house. My unit had iced over and had to thaw first so he came over again at 8 pm on a Saturday (the same day) to finish fixing it for a very reasonable price. My wife and I noticed our air conditioning was blowing warm air upstairs and went to google to find somebody to come out and take a look. A/C Medic Heating and Air conditioning was the first name to pop up. I noticed first that the reviews were all outstanding so I gave them a call. In 2016, its rare to find somebody who is as honest, and cares as much about their quality of work as Eric. My AC went out on a Sunday afternoon and the company who initially came out said the compressor was dead and that the best course of action would be to get a completely new unit along with a ton of extra work that needed to be done to make it possible. The next day I called around for a bunch of estimates. When Eric came, he luckily offered to double check the diagnosis I was given. He was very knowledgeable and patiently explained everything he was doing while answering any questions/concerns I had. Turns out the real issue was a failing fan motor not the compressor. He was able to get a new motor the same day and had everything back up and running in no time. Sometimes its worth getting a second opinion!

I called Eric around 9pm on a Thursday night, not only did he come, but was at my house in under 30 minutes. He was very thorough, checking every thing, from start to finish, in 20 degree weather. He did not leave my house until after 11pm, after making sure we would be ok for the night. He had diagnosed the problem but had to get the part the next day. He kept me informed as to when he had the part and when he would have the work done to get our heater up and running again. He was very knowledgeable, and was not your typical repair person out to gouge you. He gave me a very rough estimate, (it was night, and all parts stores were closed) of the cost, and I was pleasantly surprised when he finished and my bill was 1/3 less than what he had quoted. I would highly recommend him for all your HVAC needs. Best repair personnel I have ever encountered! Thank You for everything Eric.

After being stood up by two different HVAC repairmen recommended by family and friends, I googled HVAC repair and A/C Medic came up. Since there were good reviews I decided to give them a try!
